I love my GF5, forged parts chf chrome lined FN barrel. This gun will last a lifetime. I’ve run 1500 through it with no problem and wear looks minimal

Do you see wear on the right side of the trunnion? I seen one guys chip off.. i think I'm going to sell mine and get the one with the toolcraft trunnion

My birthday is in the end of next week, plan on ordering the GF5 blem with the pistol combo if it’s still stock for myself (perfect excuse to order with out angering the woman in my life)
Do you think the barrel threading is centric enough for a Normal .308 suppressor with the appropriate muzzle adapter? My imported Romanian/Russian/Zastava’s have SLOPPY loose un centric threads only good for muzzle breaks or flash hiders. I know the PBS wolverine adapt around the short comings but it would sure be nice to use something I already got. Nice vid guys. Beautiful rifle!

Awesome guys im not gonna lie man I have a psagf3 and I absolutely love shooting it. Way cheaper on ammo and I put a Midwest industry muzzle brake on it and it helps with the recoil quite a bit but i like shooting it better than my ar

Well, I guess, I am a gun guy. I just ordered my psa gf5 today. This will make my second AK that I have.

@@GSquaredTactical your comment made me laugh. PSA had a good deal that I could not pass up. The rifle, a bag and ten mags for a grand. I guess that I am lucky. I can just drive to the store and pick it up. No transfer fees. 🤫🤫🤫. Also, I have a century arms bft 47. When I get the psa one. I will take both and shoot them.

I think you can buy certain steel mags that will lock it back but it doesn’t normally do it.

Ak is not designed to lock back after the last round since it was designed as full auto and it just clicks when it’s empty 👍

They do have mags that will hold open on last round

I have been shooting ak.s for YEARS! Try getting an ak-74 style break for it and a rubber butt pad. You might enjoy it alot more.

Traditional AK does not bolt hold open. There are however BHO AK magazines.

No sir
They do have the full auto safety notch though which is a nice touch, but it still fires semi in that position.

I'm just gonna say this PSAs are not "made in America" they are mostly kits imported from the combloc [mainly Romania iirc]...but for the price the GF5 seems to be a great rifle.

That’s information is incorrect, psa doesn’t use imported kits. They build and forge the parts in house.

@Initialddriver it's the bolt, carrier, and trunions that are the main guts of the rifle that are made in the US. Not imported.
@_Michael_ still not American...it's like saying tesla is American when the guts come from Chinese mines...I never said it wasn't ASSEMBLED here but the major parts of the rifles [the receiver and the barrels] are NOT American made...
