I bought my GF3 about 2 years ago, and even though people always trash PSA, I've never really found an actual reason for the hate. I think it's like the Wasrs, like 10 years ago everyone kept saying they were cheap trash, but now they're the holy grail, and I think PSA's are on their way to that kind of status
It’s blind hate rooted in ignorance. They don’t cost $2000 and the Serbian military doesn’t use them so therefore they couldn’t possibly be any good. It’s like they are stuck in 2016. “Well well what about the qc!?!?” It was the pandemic…more rifles with less workers. My gf3 and gf5-e are absolutely perfect. On par with my ZPAP. Granted I did change the firing pins to titanium ones but I do that in all my rifles.

@@gunprepohio5743 Well they are known to have issues with firing pins breaking and I’d rather have one that I know for a fact isn’t going to break on me in 50 rounds. A titanium pin won’t let me down for about 10k atleast.

The owner of psa is a true patriot and wants everyone armed . Like we all should be .
"Collectibles"?.....I have to laugh at that. Firearms are a Durable Good, and a Stagnant Good. The Political Turbulence around means there's no such thing as "Collectible".
@@joeruiz4010 Certain firearms are collectibles because wait for it..... people COLLECT them.....That's why the grading system and collector auctions exist. In your mind they may just be a "durable" or "stagnant" good and in most cases that is probably true. But certainly not for all of them. No different than cars. Cars are just a good that provides a moderate utility. Most cars aren't a collectible but depending on the make, model, year they definitely can be. Political turbulence existing or lack thereof is completely irrelevant 😂, If anything it makes something even more collectible or sought after. Most people collect something because of its scarcity as it is. lmao. 😂.
Thank you sir for the insight. As a (relatively) young gun guy it's easy to lose perspective over prices. Most people would agree the AR and Wonder 9 market is better than ever. Prices a little higher than we'd like since the plandemic maybe. However it's the imports of yesteryear that today's youngsters (myself included) pine over. Chicoms, Russians, Cheap part Kits, Cheap Wasrs, $79 SKS's, 7n6 etc... The idea of dirt cheap hi quality imports/ammo for young people with limited funds will always overshadow the lack of internet resources, and 1994-2004 AWB dark age that most old timers I talk to seem to remember more vividly.

Well I’m sold I just spent $1100 on a new GF4 AK. 14. 7 inch barrel with the pinned muzzle break rail dust cover modern day, Hangard and adjustable stock.

PSA is becoming a great all around gun company with something for everyone. Definitely looking forward to the Rock 5.7, Glock 17 Dagger and Glock 43 Dagger. Looking to get a AK-V if it every comes down any. I doubt it.
I'm willing to bet they survive the carnage to come when no Boogaloo materializes and these little and a few big boys fold, like Remington. I mean imagine a Daniel's Defense Valmet? They won't do it but boy, if Reed knight made AKSU74's !

I have been an AK guy for ages, actually since I was in Vietnam, and have owned quite a few since then. I bought an AK 103 from PSA and I am very happy with it! Like my VSKA, it is a keeper.

I have a GF5 with the ALG trigger and I am extremely pleased with it. I have only put 600 rounds through it
I’ve had three PSA Ak’s. Never any issues with any of them. Sold them though and bought ZPAP’s and a WASR. I wanted to buy imports while I still can because you never know when imports will no longer be allowed to come into the US.
I got the build your own AK103 & used furniture and trigger group from a kola arms akm kit + plus a jmac M4 buffer tube adapter with a magpul stock. I threw a bunch mags stuffed with some of the crappiest steal case and it just chewed it up spit it out down range. Man, I love it.
Zastava, Arsenal, and PSA are my go to ak brands. Never understood the hate for PSA aks besides the rare firing pin issues which is an extremely easy fix.

Ran my 4500th round through my gf3 this morning. Excellent rifle and aside from the front post being slightly canted I haven’t had a single issue with mine.
Probably going to pick up another at some point.
Mine was so canted that i sold it same day. Wish id have done my research into their warranty. Shopping for another gf3 atm

Just got my GF3 Monday. Its incredibly accurate straight out of the box! Feels like quality, only problem is the hammer catching the bolt, but a little sanding and it racks smoothly 😎

People rag on their QC, but I think a lot of that is exaggerated based on the volume of firearms they push out.

The one you have in the middle I seen in my local gun shop today chambered in 5.45. I held it and I will say it is very nice 👌. It almost made me not miss my Galil Ace as much hell I'm going to buy it dammit.

Yup PSA is ligit. Took a while but I finally got a hold of customer service. They too care of me and sent in the replacement part free of charge. Works great.

It really does seem like PSA has got their AK platform sorted out. The quality is good now and they are consistently in stock.

Just got my first AR last year but it’s really tempting to try another platform.
I have both-- An AK is nice to have in the stable
If you have the money, buy an ak .. they are really fun .
The thing about having an AK platform is for now you can shoot ammo for relatively cheap when AR ammo goes through the roof to be a dollar around when people start to freak out and panic buying I want to come to palmetto they do a lot of good upgrades on a AK so you don't have to invest for early on which is kind of nice

You need to adjust the gas tube lever on the bottom rifle before your gas tube pops off.
I have a GF3 with the stock trigger. I saw yours has the ALG trigger, how's that trigger working for you? I polished mine and it's smooth but has that typical AK takeup. Was thinking about getting that PSA ALG trigger.

I have an AR pistol, AK and Dagger all from Palmetto. No problems with any of them!! The only minor thing is that the AR is iffy with steel case but PSA is definitely my go to!

I bought a PSA GF3 about 3 years ago foldable stock got about 2500 rounds on it haven’t had 1miss fire yet it been flawlessly I can’t say anything bad about PSA the only thing I upgraded was the trigger to a ALG trigger n a muzzle break sweet shooter it keeps up with my expensive AKs straight up wanna get the PSA AKV 9mm PSA has my Business🤷🏽♂️💯🎯🤙🏽

I'm having trouble buying this online. I get through the checkout process, but once I submit the order, it says "payment authorization rejected from processor". I've called my credit card company, tried a few credit cards, one debit, and my adblocks and vpn are turned off. I've tried calling PSA, but only a voice machine saying their closed when I'm calling during their open hours. Does anybody have an idea what's wrong? Would really appreciate any thought.

I'm tempted to order a PSA Krink AK in .556 However I'd like to know how well it feeds the 556 ammo. Years ago I bought a Golani Sporter from Century Arms and it stove piped every third of fourth round right out of the box. Lubed. No help. Took to a dealer with three gunsmiths working. They held up a couple of them and said; "like these' ? ' we can't fix them" You have to send it to VT where they claimed able to fix.
I will never buy from Century Arms again because of that.
I have a PSA AKP great gun only a couple things I would say is get magazines that are Bulgarian mine seems to really like that style of magazine the Korean and Croatian mag that I bought wouldn't chamber around very well
Dude, Korean & Croatian AK Mags SUCK = your problem is that you need to ONLY BUY Milspec AK Mags like Polish, Romanian, Hungarian , Egyptian, Yugoslavian, E. German (if you find them?), Russian, Bulgarian & Chinese are excellent mags, although pricy, they're definitely reliable!
Is there a binary trigger that works with the psa platforms because I've heard that the fostech triggers don't operate with the gf3

but i will say though there are many countries version of the Ak polish loving their grenade launchers they reinforce the receivers and some have collective value yes but fit finish and accuracy tried n true knock em out drag em outs... gf4s with forged everything but furniture and tight quality control has really lead me to their company. I own a Christensen arms 5five6 built quite a few and bought a few. well, sure its accurate but put it through a minor arty blast or in mud I'm sure it over. Doing auto extended cover firing it's done from heat. I just haven't found anything that hasn't jammed or had issues and needed adjustment or lubrication to solve its issues where the Ak just ran... spit in the action or dump water in it if there's a jam and its back. Idk its definitely held its place over the years.

@@Gator69420 it’s been great! I will say I do not like how the rear sight isn’t left or right adjustable, but the full size rifles probably are. Definitely recommend.

@Gator69420 doing good put the Chinese style bird cage optics on it a forward grip and a light runs well ....I think the soviet arms version of the PSA - AK47 is built a bit tuffer then there ARs been my experience anyhow...I also changed out the gas tube and hand gard with magpul furniture made it a bit more gassy for my taste but overall runs really well

I always buy the blem if they have it in what I want. Never have really found anything I would call a blemish though. Funny enough - one of the only things I've bought that WASN'T sold as a blem, is the only then I found something obvious on. I really don't care. What gun isn't going to get marked up right away anyways?
