"truth turns out far worse!"
*WHERE?*
😂
@@michael-101 No idea, please tell me when you find out! Well I'm also a victim here, waiting and waiting for the truth that never came.
IN MY VIEW
I was relieved to hear the three children were given to their grandmother. This gave them some comfort being a family member.
Why do they always caption the non-native passengers part of the dialogue? Do the Brits thing non-native speakers' English ain't good enough? So irritating!
That one lady was so gracious and cooperative at being held up like that...
All because she only had $60???
Outrageous! Full X-ray after they couldn't find anything, and she was not showing any signs of discomfort or misbehavior! This is A LOT of radiation, the poor woman probably didn't even know.
He lied to his supervisor and said she agreed. But presented it to her like she didn’t have a choice. Fire him!!!
Sometimes these searches seem unfair but just comply and be respectful. Kudos to the lady
And years later find out you got cancer from this body scan and ppl still gonna be using drugs smh
Wow so she was really pregnant! Hmm 🤔
did they expose the fetus to xrays?
You clearly have no understanding for your rights. So, as long as you do what the people in power want you to do you'll be okay. Do you have any idea how dangerous that line of thinking is?
@@grantgoldberg1663 You have no rights passing through customs.
The officer really said “we are just RUSHING to gate …” and he walks like he is walking his dog in the park? 😂
Thats how the UK rushes
Lmao I said the same thing...
I know right! 😅😅😅😅😅😅
SSE
Right. Made me upset
When I was pregnant I never had morning sickness….. I had all daylong sickness 🤢
I as well
I heard of a case of a woman who had it so bad that it actually killed her (and the baby).caused acute liver disease...scarey😮
Me too...heartburn..milanta was my best friend throo 2 pregnancies
Same!! All throughout the day for the whole 9 months. And heartburn lol
I had the same, all day long. My co workers would constantly come by my desk to look at me and say that they had never seen anyone the colour of green before. My desk was moved down next to the bathroom for obvious reasons. That was through my whole time with my first child. He was born healthy, no problems thank goodness, I was concerned to say the least.
I've had 3 kids. I've never been "slightly pregnant". 😆
Hahaha, good one! Never heard of anyone being slightly pregnant.
I remember in 9th grade my biology teacher who was also a coach, told our class someone from the cross country team told him that they couldn’t make it to practice because they were ‘kinda pregnant’. He was laughing and saying “There is no such thing. You either are, or you aren’t.” 😂😂😂
@@Hellnback303 Just in a man's mind!
Given the circumstances, I would say she was being intentionally vague about disclosing how far along she was in the pregnancy because if the "partner" knew exactly how far along she was, then he would know he would know how long he had to attempt to coerce her into termination (legally).
I was slightly pregnant for a minute or two right after birth…lol
Cross contamination is high with their procedure of testing. In another episode there was an agent who used the same gloves when searching and contaminated every passenger's belongings after she searched the real smuggler. Terrible.
They used to use the same gloves on everyone’s luggage inspections. We asked them to use clean gloves on our luggage. They didn’t like it. We now put socks or whatever in clear zip lock bags so they don’t touch our clothing & possibly contaminate it or infest it with bed bugs.
I always get a blank stare whenever I bring up cross contamination.
Some of the equipment it is so sensitive in can pick up one part in 4billion...
@@anneloving8405 That too
Poor training in action.
I think their drug equipment is on drugs
You know what, I think you just might be right 🤣🤣🤣
Or it's because 80% of border employees are on coke.
Are you carrying Tobacco or cigarettes ? Dramatic drum rolls !
Seems they need a better machine no way all those people came up positive and had nothing. They’re better off getting a dog to sniff
I'm beginning to think cocaine is found on everything.
A very large percentage of paper money is contaminated
Lol
Either that or, their machine is malfunctioning
@thomasrussell7135 fact's
so the test is pretty sensitive, but you will be surprised how much can be found on your own stuff. from credit cards you and everybody else puts in the same slots to paper, money, doorhandles etc etc etc
"We're rushing up to gate 59"... As he is casually taking a stroll. Lol
No point getting to the gate before the door opens……
She is pregnant and feeling very sick and the first thing you can think about is she swallowing drugs, oh boy!!!
Traveling by train is sounding better and better.
To be fair to them though, the woman DID claim to airplane staff that she "swallowed something before boarding". While that doesn't MEAN drugs, it COULD mean drugs, so it makes sense.
@@CherryGryffon True! Especially since she's travelling from a country known for trafficking drugs!
Ummmm she told them she swallowed a package to bring back to the UK.
That's because enough have to make them question it.
They really need to send the drug machine to service
The way they treated the pregnant woman was ridiculous. Three officers went to the hospital with her? What a waste of their time and a shame to her dignity.
I hope the gal at the beginning has a successful outcome, & has nothing further to do with the rat who poisoned her.
You believe that story? More likely she was trying to lose the baby and blamed her man.
Yeah, looks like contamination to me. I had to go through this interrogation process twice coming back to the US. The first time was a 3 hour ordeal with most of it being grilled about my past, my family, and every detail I could provide. It seemed implausible to them that a 20 year old college student went to Europe on a trip and paid for it by saving money from work. I guess you’re sus if you’re financially responsible.
You should have invoked your right to counsel and not told them anything. The police are the enemy. You should never speak to them, innocent or guilty.
Its a common routine they lay on you! Isnt it uncanny how these test always pop for “traces” of drugs….yeah, uncanny! 🤣😝🤣😝🤣
Yes. Everyone is suspect.
Unless you enter through any southern US border
Good for you for being responsible and getting to enjoy the benefits. Keep it up - your memory bank will be full of enjoyable excursions. 🩷🩷🩷
That reeks of ineptitude and unnecessary harassment of innocent passengers.
Don’t travel to foreign countries. I know, I know, it’s such a crazy solution, how could anyone be expected to come up with such an outrageous solution?
It's really outrageous considering how many countries these "foreign " countries
. have de$troyed
This customs man’s says the passenger is slightly pregnant. Is that the same as being slightly dead.
It’s the same in the UK as “falling pregnant”!!! What the heck is that about? You fall down and now you are PREGNANT???
Great point!! Always wondered about some of that verbiage.
I wondered that myself 🤣
Their swab sure does have a lot of false positives.
Maybe you need to get your "drug" machine recalibrated!
And their entire STAFF!
Please don't blame the officers. People do unbelievable things just to get away with whatever they are involved in. The officers are doing a wonderful job at the borders.
The young woman should have been searched before exposing her to X-ray!
They need to fix their equipment and and quit harassing the people
It works exactly as designed. The goal of the equipment is to provide justification for everything else they wanna do.
Get a new machine because all are flagging for drugs. I would be so mad if they claimed that my luggage has trace of drugs. 😡😡😡
I wonder if just being packed beside one that does makes one test positive.
You can touch something that had a drug on it and transfer it onto for example the handle of your luggage. It's very easy to transfer. You could be completely innocent but you touched something in public and transfered it by touch onto your property.
Your suitcase probably does have traces of drugs. Most objects have some trace amount. All cash has multiple drugs on it.
You could have put your clothes in a drawer in a hotel that contained drugs, then put it in your suitcase.
Jeez what a grueling stressful hassle. Makes one dread the thought of traveling.
So a lady gets sick and that gives them the right to go through all of her stuff? WTH?
I know, right? Their airport security and laws are FASCIST!!
I suspect the machine is in error. That was the 2nd passenger found to have no drugs!
Proper calibration and quality control are extremely important.
Indeed good sir
If luggage swiping something contaminated can be picked up by a swab, then another mule could have been on the flight and their luggage contaminated several others. The luggage handlers likewise could be contaminated.
90% of money in circulation in the US is contaminated with illegal drugs! So how many people are going to be hit for positive drugs with that? They need better testing than micro traces to hold people up!
All types of instant drug tests are extremely inaccurate, unreliable and prone to false positives. That's why they are not allowed as evidence in court. To be accurate and used as evidence everything needs to be sent to a lab for verification.
You blast someone's entire body with radiation BEFORE you even frisk them??!!! 😳
England has NO IDEA on guns. Not in the least. Or bombs. They had to issue a memo to police to not taze suspected suicide bombers in case the voltage burst accidentally triggers AN ELECTRICALLY TRIGGERED bomb vest. Who would've thought. Rocket scientists.
Right !!!!
So sad...
All of the passengers probably received a larger dose of radiation from the flight than the machine.
It’s time to get a new drug machine.
Those Xrays are not without risk, especially in women who could be pregnant. The decision to use ionizing radiation should not be taken lightly!
Actually you can take them lightly.
Most airport body scanners today are usually millimeter wave scanners which don't use ionising radiation.
Some countries may still use backscatter x-ray scans, BUT, the radiation from them is extremely low, only a very small fraction of the ionising radiation you naturally get from flying.
Actually, a backscatter x-ray scan is the equivalent of 3-9 minutes of radiation received from naturally occurring sources as part of daily living.
In other words, if you worry about ionising radiation from airport body scanners, you should at least not be flying.
@rigeus Oh good, I was hoping there is an explanation like this because otherwise it was simply outrageous, they had no other indication to subject her to it other than having only 60$.
The female officer was doing way too much looking for nothing. Unfortunately even touching money, doorknobs or going into a market and walking around you can come into contact with a narcotic that could leave traces on you clothing. It’s sad.
That's why they do searches!
The readings on the detectors are always positive for something. It's never negative!!
Must drive the doggies mad, sniffing contaminated gloves 😂😂😂
Because it doesn't make good TV. Conflict makes good TV.
OH YES IT IS !!! I was moving coast to coast and brought as much of my electronics as I could and very little clothes ...they swabbed everything !!!! The guy told me , very little clothing is a huge red flag . ALL GREEN LIGHTS
@@gilwood7530 - I know people who bought very little clothes when traveling to another country. They wanted to go shopping and buy lots of new clothes to bring home.

Right 😂 like it’s a yes or no question lol
Hahaha I was thinking the same thing like I've never heard slightly pregnant in my life
Is that like “kinda of pregnant”?
Is that like being 'a little bit dead'??
It’s possible now. Anytime you can ‘abort’ a baby that’s 6 months along, you can be ‘kind of’ pregnant
They were so suspicious for NOTHING. She was so patient. They should have upgraded her to first class for doubting her, for the ashame.
During the terrorist epidemic I was searched because I resembled an Arab. All my luggage was searched even a body search in LA. I was excited because I knew I had nothing. My friends were waiting to board economy class and were becoming quite concerned. When it was all over first class were called to board so I was going to return to the economy waiting lounge, but they ushered me ahead with first class. My sister was nearly in tears and was surprised and relieved when she saw me seated waiting for them.
Then everyone on the plane clapped.
I used to get “randomly” searched every time.
@@BlueIvysAssistant it's true I was the terrorist!
I travelled with a woman returning from Malaysia to the US. In SFO she was pulled aside(hijab, of course) and when I protested they had me join her....they swabbed our hands and shoes for gunpowder residue...She was terrified. Born and raised in the US, this was her first experience, she had been visiting Muslim relatives in Kuala Lumpur. They finally let us go, and told me sternly not to interfere in official business.
I get a random search every time I fly. I plan on this and carry very little on board.
Why is $60 a red flag? Would $60,000 also be a red flag? What's the right amount that wouldn't be a red flag? If she's meeting her fiancée would it be so unusual for him to be financing her?
Any abnormalities are potential red flags. Traveling abroad with only 60 USD in your pocket is unusual. Yes, carrying £60,000 in cash is definitely a red flag, you need to declare at least £10,000 in cash to UK customs.
No, it is not unusual especially when you are going to be with your family or your man. Her fiancé paid for her ticket so it's only logical that he would also take care of all expenses while she is there. This is crazy and discriminatory. They put her through all that and was highly disappointed when they found nothing.
@mikrokupu ? It's 2023! People don't carry cash anymore. Or if they do and are smart they carry about 60 bucks. Otherwise, they are likely up to criminal activity. Her having 60 dollars should tell them she is a smart average traveler.
@@ccjohncc1 That's what I would of thought as well, I travelled recently and only took enough cash for buying a bit of food etc at the airport, cards for the rest and to use an ATM, a lot of retailers at the airport wouldn't even take cash.
I also wondered that.
I figure a small amount of cash would be more normal
since most folks also carry credit cards.
If that was his version of "rushing" up to a gate, I'd hate to see him stroll to a gate.
so this por woman was pregnant and her boyfriend forced he to drink something to induce a miscarriage, how absolutely disgusting. I think he was maybe trying to stop her from leaving with the 3 children, My gosh I hope that baby survived

hahaha when the guy said that the woman was " slightly" pregnant .
That’s disgusting that they gave the officer that much of the first woman’s medical file. All they needed to know is that she hadn’t swallowed anything. Period. He’s a bumbling idiot, saying she’s slightly pregnant, all the more reason he didn’t need to be told anything other than her stomach had no packages.

That poor young woman from Trinidad my god they put her through the ringer with no cause
I feel they are just doing the job
I got on the United flight to London, from Los Angeles at 5:20 pm Our flight was supposed to take off at 6 pm. Stupidly, a woman and her husband got on, but the woman was very sick, but still wanted to go to London on vacation. As we started to pull back from the gate and taxi, the woman passed out. We had to return to the gate and deplane. Forty minutes later, they announced that we'll get back on soon, that they just have to do the security checks on the plane over again. An hour and a half later they said we'll be boarding. 15 minutes later they said we're delayed again because all the food for our flight has expired, so we have to wait for another shipment. A couple hours later they told us we're still delayed because now our pilots and crew done their shift, so United is looking for a new crew. So we were supposed to leave at 6 pm, the sick woman delayed us, and we ended up flying off at 3 a.m, 9 HOURS later. At 2 a.m., the new crew arrived. The applause from us was deafening. The Captain stopped to tell us that he's not a regular flight pilot, that his job is solely to fly planes in this exact situation where regular pilots shift is done. I don't understand why the WHOLE plane had to deplane, to take this one woman off who was sitting in the front of the aircraft in business class.
The stooges at the airport😅all this is unacceptable
Train your agents better
Contamination ?
Please change your gloves
Doesn't seem like those swab tests are too accurate....
I would be furious being stopped for nothing
Clearly their agents need better training and protocols to stop contaminating everyone’s belongings. They aren’t getting hits on all those people - they are contaminating everything they touch to get an excuse to harass innocent people.
They're like, you're wearing a weird color shirt. They must have drugs. She didn't make eye contact with me, she must be loaded with drugs. I've seen episodes where they literally did the last one I mentioned

Traveling with only $60 warrants a drug search?
Returning home, yes it would be logical to only having $60 but starting your trip? Suspicious! It puts the person at the mercy of the benefactor. She could be left stranded without means to return to wherever she came from.
I don't believe its smart to travel with only $60, but suspicious? Nah@@Elizabeth-rq1vi
Profiling for sure.
@@Elizabeth-rq1vi Yeah, but that’s on her. She said she was meeting her fiancé, so he’s probably taking care of the finances. Since when do airlines get to police the amount of cash someone has? If she had been carrying “too much” money, it still would have been an e curse to search her for drugs.

What about their mother who was sick and pregnant being victimized by everyone around her?
True
It's amazing how much innocent citizens have to suffer just so some drug lords can live like kings.....
Swabbing things is so misleading. People's bags and socks have been on floors on hotel rooms. The amount of rooms the have coke in the carpet, especially in vacation soots is high, l would bet 80% of all passengers soxks or bags would show some trace.
The carpet below the passenger seats never get vaccumed so someone could get residue on their shoes too.
maybe they need to check the airplanes basement or baggage handlers... coke everywhere huh?
How much cross-contamination is caused by the Customs personnel? Drug people should send two people. One carrying the drugs and the other no drugs but looking suspicious causing Customs personnel to concentrate on him/her.
So far, it seems that the swab devices are showing too many false positives. Which is of course convenient for officers, as it provides them with reasonable suspicion. This also means, they have no incentive to get a device that has a better rate of detection.
Harassing people and finding nothing they should have to compensate everyone they search and hold that turns out to be for no cause 0:01
I had to rewind to ensure I heard correctly about the slightly pregnancy 😂
Saw that other person's comment huh? Better hop on the bandwagon for likes lol

It's time to recalibrate your machines because they comply, but still, I can't help but feel violated by them. They may need to check the compartments and clean or check on the luggage rack. I find it offensive, and sorry doesn't seem enough. As for the vomiting mom, if those bags were leaking, she would have many more problems than just vomiting.
well i bet she was dehydrated from vomiting the entire trip
Yes,she’d be cardiac arrest.
I was not expecting to watch a video of three people doing absolutely nothing wrong. That machine is just like the drug sniffing dogs. They alert whether there are drugs or not lol
Exactly!
Last year I was stopped at Houston airport after arriving from Mexico. I live in Mexico and grow coffee, de-pulp and dry it and it is processed by a neighbor who has the roasting and grinding equipment. At Houston, they swabbed one of the bags and it came back positive for some substance. I have my own bags and labels, so it wasn't just in baggies. Anyway, I explained that I grow my own and don't even use commercial fertilizer. They swabbed each bag individually, swabbed me down and x-rayed me and swabbed my suitcase. They even opened one of the bags to make sure it actually contained coffee. All were negative. Don't know what happened there, but thankfully, I was on my way after that with time to catch my connecting flight. I had17 half-pound bags as gifts for my family and friends.
No passenger had anything nearly as obnoxious as that ridiculous pounding noise.
They need to buy updated machines.....even the scanner
After watching a few episode's, I've noticed the cross contamination of ungloved hands. This machine is used as a way for them to get authorization to check everything on, in or with person. The machine picks up traces of something...might be drugs, cosmetics or food. Many every day items can show up as drug trace.
Hmmm...them checking the bag out of passengers view on a previous episode had me wondering.
Wow. Imagine being paid to harass innocent people because your dope scanning equipment is faulty!!
Imagine how much damage those dopes that wasn't find cause in people's lives.
A few minutes of inconvenience can save life. Equipment can be faulty so does people thinking.
I was advised to be cautious of second hand luggage, like buying from a thrift store. No telling what has been in them previously.
That poor lady and her kids.
Good thing they allowed the kids to meet grandma. I have seen cases wherein the kids was taken to social workers, not knowing when they'll see each other again
Social services will not typically remove a child to a foster family where there is a suitable relative or other guardian available. Foster placement is only used as a last resort for the most part, especially as vetted foster caters can be in short supply.
What do they do to get a baseline for the scanners? It seems like everything has a "trace of cocaine".
5:07 "Seems like she's slightly pregnant"
So, she's only having "a bit of a baby"?
It may just be a term they use in the UK.
You and your luggage can't make it out of the airport without coming into contact with trace amounts of drugs, it's the same as with your money. The process seems shoddy, and they act like it's criminal when a swab tests positive, when in fact, they should be surprised if the swab comes back negative. Not every hit is a criminal case.
The INSIDE?
False
@heirsskat - They were swabbing the INSIDE of the bag, not the outside!
Please lower the volume of the background music. It's totally unnecessary and, for it to be that loud makes it very intrusive and makes the speech difficult to hear.

This is freaking too much for the travelers. This is disgusting.
On top of not being allowed to speak your mind you now have this to worry about in the UK.
How many people touch the bags when those "hits of trace of cocaine"?
Can these innocent passengers SUE FOR THE AIRPORT CATAROSPHY ?
