Everybody is boss until the interpreter comes around.
she's coming fm HK, but she's not originally fm hong kong
Oh ! You don't remember the combination? That's okay ! You can go ! 😂😂
Can you imagine 😂😂
Not a real Hong Kong resident, she's from China.
Mainland China, to be specific.
She can speak English alright, enough not to tell you the truth !! LOL
A warning for attempting to bring seeds into country. Serious infraction, they knew it wasn’t allowed.
I tell you this young lady’s language is Putonghua she told to the white guy are from Hong Kong but she is not a Hong Konger. She is from China. She must be smuggling or want to stay to be an illegal immigrant.
Oh you tell us 😴😴😴🤡
Lots of questionable baggage for a holiday... What do you think?
the slimming pills are different colours. I've never seen vitamins or pills be in different colours from each other - and she hid her sim card in there. I'd check the pills, i.m.o..
Amen!
The fines are so LOW as to encourage such people to take the risk. To the authorities this is judicial rocket science to do nothing to DETER it,
Fourteen year old video. The fines are a lot higher now.
@@IcariumGaming Do you know what the fines are now? Canada’s was better-$800-$1300. But I haven’t heard what the fines are in AUS, just several people saying they’re higher now. Thank you!
Why do people try and try this nonsense. She figures that if she forgot the combo she won’t have to get it opened . 😂😂😂 people aren’t very smart
I'd have refused entry right there and then.
@@neuralwarp And you would rightfully be ignored
These people are so sneaky.

Asians ! Honesty is not their policy !!!
You should change your name from carol to Karen. 😂
Sneaky sneaky 😂
I can’t believe people are so naive about plants then again if they are hiding them this well perhaps they do know.
Kinda scary!! Another way to create new bio hazards into another country!😮
When you get a Cantonese translator for a Mandarin speaker 🤦♂️
She speaks both dialects.
Who pays for the return ticket
This is true
She is holding a HKSAR passport but can only speak Mandarin. As a Hong Konger, I don't know exactly how many HKSAR passports the HK immigration department has issued. I remember a couple of years ago, the authority stated that over 10 million passports had been issued, whereas there are only 5 million HK permanent residents eligible to possess HKSAR passports. Btw, it's much easier to identify Hong Kongers holding BNO passports, simply because the native language of BNO holders is Cantonese. I am blessed that I have never owned or possessed a HKSAR passport.
Soon or later, HK passport will finish.
Whatever passport you hold, you cannot hold it over 100 years. Once you are gone, everything is gone, like dust in the wind, this can happen to everyone on earth.
What is an HKSAR passport? What does that mean?
HKSAR? What was that meant?
Why hide them in the bottom of the suitcase, in an envelope if they are meant to keep track of what she thinks she wants to look like??? Cunning devil!
I would open every single one of those capsules to see with what they have been replaced - if you know what I mean?
In my countrty Indonesia.. to open passengers bags is Custom officer not immigration officer.
Customs and immigration should start charging these suspect travelers per hour for searching their bags!
Love it no messing return to sender
Funny how in the TV-series the passenger is always present when the bag is being opened.
Last year on my departure my bag was opened and searched without my knowledge.
I found a letter from customs they opened my bag. Nice.
Left a complete chaos in my bag btw ... grrrrr
I've had it all, searcher in front, searched unknown with card and unauthorized entry in my bags
These videos are about thirteen years old.
You give up your right to privacy the moment you and your luggage board an aircraft. If you've got nothing to hide, what's the big deal. Be glad someone is looking.
And?
@philiptownsend4026 thanks for your comment man.
Yall don't know what youre doing in this one here..
what do they mean by "her bona-fides didn't check out"? I've not heard that expression before. Thank you!
it usually means "credentials"

how old is this???? That cell phone
The woman is intact coming from mainland China that's why she can't speak English
The music is too loud.
Do you know how to use the volume button??? You're welcome.
@@sherrydaut4910 if the volume is turned down I don't hear anything not even the commentator. Do you get that?
You've just got to love the nonchalant manner in which Kiwi Customs do their job as apposed to the Tyrant's manning border control overseas.😊
Especially America
There all tyrants 😴😴😴
Yeah they're nice as pie, even when the cameras aren'y there.😊
She's from China, not Hong Kong.
maybe she flew in from Hong Kong?
Yes I wondered, too. They should have otherwise asked for a Cantonese translator, not a Mandarin.
She’s a Chinese from mainland China
@@hassanalihusseini1717not necessarily smart ass
@@hassanalihusseini1717I think there is no Cantonese Interpreter in nz custom
How old are these videos 🤔
They should be 15ish years old by now
More than a 100 years old.
Does it matter?
@@philiptownsend4026 yes, it does 🙄, would be good to see some of newer times 🤗
They removed China women's private photos which she kept hidden .then they displayed it infront of colleagues unnecessarily to embarrass her 😜 . problem here is Different cultures have different views about what is personal .
In customs- immigration, Nothing is “personal “.
Why you allow the people to stand in front of your staff and blatantly lie to them beggars belief , a baton or a switch would be used on you if you behaved like it in their country
What's the bet she didn't know she could refuse to be filmed?
Customs, MPI and Greenstone did their best to make the right to that decision less than transparent.
I pointed out to a traveler, at Auckland airport, that they could say no and a uniformed official got, shall we say, agitated.
Greenstone need that to be the case or there'd be no show.
Next somebody will sue the airport to remove cctv footage from the lounge. Get a life bro. You will learn the hard way.
@@shary1283 what was it you were trying to say? 🤔
@@mikebarton her identity was hidden that's all. Luggage is already flagged before it is on the belt. They film so the customer can't say that officer didn't follow the procedure it's for safety of officers . Even you say no to film them there is nearly 3-6 cameras covering the table with audio as well. If you don't want to cooperate with system and want to oversmart it then when it comes to system turn it will not cooperate with you as well plus when you are carrying prohibited stuff. Make it simple and easy for both to finish the procedure.
@@shary1283 you misunderstand. This film that we are seeing was made by the private concern Greenstone TV. It is not made for safety or procedure reasons. Greenstone has an agreement with MPI to be able to film these interactions. Anyone being filmed by Greenstone can say no. There are signs indicating this but often they are not obvious or are in English only.
The agreement with Greenstone gives them quite extraordinary access. It allows them to film in secure areas. It's believed that the agreement would NOT survive a legal challenge.
she’s a working girl.
Alert
Can i bring dried fish and Pickles to newzealand...? Please answer if any one know s about it
Maybe If you say you have it? Idk
Read the material published by NZ Customs.
She wrote the book now because she thought that killing a puppy would impress Trump. That is demented. Don't try to minimize how sick this is.
A "massage therapist" ...🙄🤨
Giving the actual healing profession a bad name.
Customs officers need to realize that it's very common to only speak a little bit of English. Just because you can speak some, does not mean that you know all. It doesn't mean the lady was being deceitful. Westerners usually don't learn foreign languages much so they wouldn't know this.
I do the same when I am negotiating business deals or use a translator even if I don’t need one. Reason is simple, I get more time to gather my thoughts and also hear more information from the other side who thinks I don’t understand their language. Many world leaders do the same. Nothing surprising.
You are confusing "Westerners" with Americans. Around two thirds of people in Europe can converse in a language other than their mother tongue. A significant proportion, maybe around 25% speak more than two languages.
Also. the custom officer had the impression that she understood way more than she claimed, based on the answers she gave. Together with "I forgot the combination", would be enough to make someone suspicious.
feel there a bit tough on some of these travellers rejected on suspicion instead of fact
Lots of time and funds wasted for the first one. Shame on them for passing her photos around.
I thought they will find nuclear bomb recipe or Ethiopian mummies in their entire search . Wasted my precious time
THe Newzealand custom agents are one of the worst. They can be creative writer! I would hate to go through their custom! I had bad experienced with an aggressive custom agent from Melbourne!
Racial discrimination.

Please be noted. This lady are not real hongkonger .She is originally from mainland China because she was speaking MANDARIN not CANTONESE.
Doesn’t mean she can’t speak both I have several friends that speak both !! You tube expert 😴😴😴😴😴
Right. Her accent was totally CCP Chinese when she spoke English and Mandarin. I bet she didn't have a single bit of education in Hong Kong. Real Hongkongers won't speak Mandarin.
I can speak and write English, and I can speak Cantonese / Mandarin and write Chinese , and my skin is yellow.
