- Probably not lubes that I would recommend for people just starting out. If you're new and looking for lubes to buy, I would recommend Cubicle Weight 5, DNM-37, Silk, or speedy.

On the Angstrom Cubes section on the cubicles website, they say they use Gravitas on the rails of the cubes and Dignitas on the pieces themselves. That's what I did. Also Lubicle black on the core and DNM-37 in there too. That's what I did. Feels very much like the Angstrom pre-made cubes as that's how they did it. Also, you need a macro lens! hahaha
I really do need a macro lens...that is definitely up on the list of things to get haha.

Bu-bu-but DNM-37 is so much better. Also you can run faster after you eat/drink it.
Ehh... I prefer All Free Clear laundry detergent. It has a pleasant thickness to it, while not having overpowering scent or taste.

I typically do Gravitas on the tracks and Dignitas on the sides. It works really nice. Especially on an SM with Lubicle black and Weight 5 on the core.

I lubed my MF3RS2M with Lubicle Black, Angstrom Dignitas and Gravitas, 2 drops of Silk, and 1 drop of DNM. My god... It's beautiful

Is Dignitas meant to be used with Gravitas to achieve the full feeling?
And is it good to get Dignitas? From what I've seen from the reviews, it stains the pieces white and is hard to clean off. They say to only use it in small amounts and with DNM-37. Still a bit skeptical.
Gravitas is latin, translated its Gravitation. definition of Gravitation:
1.
movement, or a tendency to move, toward a center of attractive force, as in the falling of bodies to the earth.
2.
movement toward or attraction to something.
Dignitas translates to worth. definition

Hi. I'm getting a GTS3M or a gan air sm and I'm thinking of getting gravitas. Pls tell me whether i should stick with sCs galaxy or go for gravitas in the GTS3M or stick with sCs galaxy or go for gravitas with the gan air sm. Or of course whether they both work well together in the cube. Thanks

I’m very impatient and I don’t like to lube every single piece there is. (for bigger cubes) is there a way to do it without disassembling it? Also, for 3x3, if I do it, do I only need to lube one piece or all the pieces?

I *slathered* my Valk Elite with Dignitas and Gravitas. It felt slow, so I added some DNM. Now it feels simultaneously slow and controllable, but also fast. Weird.

Thinking about getting gravitas because I like my 3x3 gummy but the silicone lube speeds up within a few days
It doesn't make it gummy, just slower. I like gravitas for that. For a gummier-ish feel, I would say maybe a little Gravitas, some Traxxas 50k, and lots of Silk. It feels great. Just be careful not to overload on Gravitas or Traxxas.

I actually don't like the white sticky "fast" one. I actually dont think it's fast. It makes my cubes slow down bigtime. The other thicker lube does great for me adding onto the core lube. But some cubes that except lube well can take a small amount of the gravitas.

what you should do is empty bot of the lubes into a bin, and then mix it with DNM and Gan's magic lube..

If I’m not going to use the Angstrom lubes, what do you suggest on the core/pieces for a 3x3?
My go to lube is almost always weight 5 :)
Where do you put it? The springs, pieces, or underneath the center caps/somewhere else?
One other question, do you you find that Traxxas 50k has the same effects as weight 5, or should I pick up weight 5 when I run out of 50k?
So do you ever really use DNM-37 or Silk anymore? Or does weight 5 get you the results that you like for all your cubes?
I definitely still use Silk and DNM. I would say my most common lubes are DNM and weight.
If I'm lubing a cube with weight 5, I put it on the springs and then on the tracks of the pieces.
Traxxas 50k and weight 5 are definitely comparable. I used traxxas for like 5 years and it was great. Weight 5 just seems to be a little bit better for me.

Tim Epperson I like lunar more than dnm since it makes your cube smooth but gives it the same speed, plus it doesn’t dry out
