at 3:13 this part is really useful, i remember solving 2x2 and i got a twisted corner, i almost twisted the first one i thought was in the wrong place but at the last second right when i got a hold of the piece, i remembered that the piece i was holding was the main piece. I almost broke my 2x2 but thankfully i remembered one of the cubicle's shorts of phil twisting a corner on his 2x2 and breaking it.
I got my first speedcube 4 months ago so this is helpful. Also I viewed my cube and didn't realize the cube had a stripped core so the cube auto adjusts. Sadly my dad said I couldn't get another thing from the cubicle

Sorry to hear that. If you need "cheaper" options, ziicube and cubezz are decent options. They come straight from China so they'll take some time to get here. But you can get yourself good cubes such as the RS3M, Little Magic M, Cyclone Boys... etc
email customer service. If the core is really stripped they might send you a replacement core (free of charge or for like a dollar, for me it was free) once you explain it to them.
Why did your dad say you couldn't get another cube from cubicle too expensive
1:22. This is the tianma cube. I had this exact problem. Basically the magnets are designed in a way that the 2 pieces that make an edge keeps the magnet in place. So if the edge somehow is lose the magnet would just fall inside and roll around.
I've been cubing for 8 years and this is quite helpful 😂I've never been confident about what I'm doing with cube maintenance (usually nothing) so I'll definitely try out your technique! So thanks guys

My 2x2 I got 4 months ago was great. It was a qiyi ms and loved solving it
At one point, I bought it to my school and impressed ppl as expected.
This one student tried to corner twist the cube. I have done it before, but not on the untwistable one. They corner twisted the only corner that couldn't be twisted, and the corner broke😒.
To this day, I still have that cube and had to use blu tack to stick it down. I can't get a new one because my dad said I can't have more cubes, only your own money.

3:27 I tried doing that once because I didn't know it will break. Luckily one of the edge pieces fall out and no plastic broke!
I got a Tornado V3 from you guys, and the corner magnets keep falling into the piece for some reason. I was able to glue all the magnets in and I haven’t had any problems since! After some premium lubes, (Angstrom Dignitas, Mystic, DNM 37, Compound X, Lubicle Speedy, and Silk) it turns so good! I definitely recommend getting one if your just getting started, or have even been cubing for a while.

Very insightful, I thought I was crazy for liking to disassemble and clean all of my cube parts every so often. I think I over-lubed my main cube as it has a lot of darkened lube on the inside. Perhaps it is time to clean it again.

realy wished i saw this video before i tried to force a lockup on 2x2 ( i broke the stem of the locked corner). luckely I was able to glue it back and it has worked perfectly fine for the past 4 months or so

I usually keep my cube in a box or a bag but I find a hair in my cube *every* *single* *time* when taking it apart to clean ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Are there any tips for putting cubes back together? The actual structure is rarely an issue for me but the last cube I had I took it apart and ended up completely snapping the last two corner pieces. I glued them back together and I’m still using the cube but its definitely thrown me a little with how much I want to go poking round my cubes.

About the rust, runny lubes (usually water based) are said to be good to apply on the pieces. But doesnt that cause rust on the magnets when they are exposed due to an adjustment system, or for looks like with the tengyun v1?

I got my first speedcube a couple of months and I've been reading about lubes a lot. Do I need a core lube for a maglev cube? From what I understand, core lubing would mostly help with spring friction, but a maglev doesn't have that...
At the very least, I may need to core lube a lot less often than a spring cube, right?
Tiny bit Weight 5 or Trakxxs 50k in the center caps and inside the core. Also one line of lube on a piece and you should be good. As for your second question, not really. My WRM has Weight 5, Angstrom and DNM in it, so lubing the cubes are almost identical.

My teacher bought RS3M 2020 speedcubes for my classmates to play with… However, non-cubers have been aggressively corner twisting them, and taking them apart aggressively. I try to stop them, but they won’t stop… What should I do???
Try to (when corner twisting or taking it apart) take it from them. I hate to say that but there's no way your letting your teacher waste a lot of $$$ by letting the non cubers tear it apart.

Is the angstrom set up on Gan 12 better or Yoo cube set up
Yoo Cube is a lubed Tornado V3. (Mystic, DNM, and Angstrom Lube). Highly recommend either buying the base cube and lube, or the Yoo Cube. As for the Gan 12. Spend a little more money on Tyson's Gan 12 for the premium bag (also I think version is sleeker than Angstroms)
If i want to see if a lube would be good, but don’t wanna damage my main, what should i do? (Just in case you need to know i avg 13)
Place a little in your cube, and if you don’t like it, try wiping it out(make sure to use actual cube lubes and not some household item)

the flagship is supposedly the best as the pioneer is said to be too fast (i have the pioneer and my friend has the flagship and i prefer his cube)
If you like really fast cubes then get the pioneer, but if you want something more controllable than get the flagship
