how come i never learned one finger trick with neither both my pinkies? this whole time ive excluded that out of algs and for a perm specifically, ruined the stability of the alg because i had to use a finger that is holding the e layer

At 2:20 (and several other places), you rotate to face the white cross before applying the alg. Why? Are you trying to avoid move cross edges as much as possible because you know these algs move side edges?
