Why does adding stickers to cubicle custom increase the price by $10? Before cubicle custom was made, the price increase to add stickers was only $3. I feel like $5 or $6 is reasonable but $10 seems overpriced.
Stickers only cost about $3, so why would they charge $7 just to sticker a cube? I would rather sticker it myself than pay $7 extra for stickers.

To be fair you need to check the wording you merely asked them if they had the ability to draw one, they just answered your question. To have a better chance you could have said, "may I have a drawing of a firebreathing penguin, you can put it in the box" or something like that.
If you have a lube preference, then it would save a fortune to buy the lube. But I can understand getting it for the magnets. The target of premium cubes is people who don't know how to make the cube good.

I average around 18 seconds and I use CFOP. I use 2 look OLL and I don't know G and R perms of PLL. I learned CFOP 5 months ago .
My Angstrom Huanglong M came with so many air bubbles. EVEN I could do better. Sadly, I requested for a logo change on green, which I have seen many people do, was denied. After I did 100 solves to break in the cube, and it popped 7 times. I have a light turning style btw. I will try speedcubeshop later.

Regarding 11:00 ~, part of the fact that the price was only $10 more is that you got stickerless- they charge around $10 just to resticker a cube

How many hard drives do you have on the side? That looks like almost 20TBs. I have a drive like that and I use it as a NAS

@@DDHDTV I'm planning to use RAID 5. I know there's a bit of controversy about it in terms of how well it rebuilds, but I'd say the vast majority of professional editors I know use RAID 5 and have used it for ages. I also keep backups that aren't at my house in case my house burns down. So even if the RAID failed to rebuild, I'd still have backups of those files.

Just received my YJ MGC 3x3 its my first magnetic cube . My question : is there alternative to lube my cube? Not the ones they sell in cubes market , something to find home or buy from walmart.
Enigma You can buy Traxxas 50k from Walmart I believe - it’s for remote control cars but it works well in cubes just the same. It won’t be as good as Angstrom and Cubicle lube but it’s still great. You just have to make sure you don’t put too much in it or else it’ll slow down your cube. Or you could just order it from amazon for under $10. Cubicle lubes are still the best tho

A Huanglong with Gravitas, DNM-37 and light magnets? Sounds like a lubed fidget spinner to me... how did you control that?
EDIT: and Lubicle black.. Does it spin endlessly when you set it down on an angled surface?
Gravitas actually slows down the cube because it is thick like Vaseline. The Huanglong is my main and I have basically the same setup, as long as you put enough lube the cube will not be too fast.

All the way back when I first heard the cubicle announce cubicle custom "Customize your own cube", it made me think that they added the ability to customize any WCA NxNxN cube from the cubicle, so I thought I would be able to do that to any cube I wanted, but, unfortunately, you can't, I wish at least you could do it to any budget 3x3 that they have. Just disappointed that the cubicle has not been adding any more cubes to Cubicle Custom.

Why do you use 24fps? I don't think that's the right framerate for cubing videos. 30, or preferably 60fps would be better.
24 fps is standard for film. Never use 60 unless it's for slow motion, it looks too smooth and not life like. If you do all of your videos in 60 then you need a camera that can shoot higher fps than 60 for any slow-motion

@@StevenWintringham Little magic is a budget cube and also the mgc and mf3rs2 they customize it because it has a lot of potential. 356R is a budget cube too and has a lot of potential.

I only used all different information because I knew people would complain otherwise. There's hundreds if not thousands of orders and addresses that come in a day. A random cube maker in pro shop isn't going to just recognize my address out of the blue. Especially since I don't place orders.

I feel like the new lube service is a little pointless. I'm one of the people that owns most of the cubicle's lubes and likes to set up my own. I think that who don't set up their own cubes would have no clue how to use the service, as they would have no clue what lube combinations work the best to fit their turning styles, and they would probably end up picking a preset. This basically means that the old set up would do the exact same thing, just for at least $10 cheaper. People like me who understand what different lube combos do have no use for the service. In short, I can't really figure out what type of person benefits from this.

I've had a pretty bad experience using cubicle custom. I ordered a Yuxin Huanglong from them that was black but they sent me a stickerless version that was horrible and required my own setup to get good. Has this happened for anyone else?

@@cyotheking I didn't have the time and I thought that for as long as I waited everything would have been completed correctly the first time. But its no big deal and thank you for the suggestion if I have future issues.
