The Federal government served search warrants to Vince, that was months ago with not a lot of details coming out (like where and what they were looking for). This is just a civil case so far.
In reference to this entire episode that dropped today:
They spend like 30mins talking about how AEW is doomed and their new contract is gonna be terrible. Some really bad “what aboutisms” that turns me off as a viewer.
We get it guys, AEW is cold in your eyes. We don’t need 30mins of Dave telling us how it could be really bad for the company in hypotheticals.
AEW is failing massively and will be off TV soon. It's a complete disaster

People saying John has flipped are incorrect. He's acting in his self interest. His official stance is still that he's a victim he just doesn't want this to go to discovery. He's fully aware that he'll look bad if everything gets out there. These actions are consistent with his situation even if we lived in a world where people were rooting for him to succeed.
Just to be as clear as possible so people don't read this and think I support John. I don't. I want this to go to court. I want the discovery process to make Vince and everyone he was involved with in WWE to go down with him. I want the toxic culture of WWE to be removed even if it involves removing 80% of the active talent roster along with it In my mind John is clearly guilty while also being a victim of sorts. There just comes a point where you become responsible for your actions regardless and I believe John passed that line many years ago. I'm open to hearing his evidence and seeing if it can even remotely change my mind but that burden of proof is on him.
