Except knowing the internet it's a catch-22 for TK. If he says there was a investigation but he was cleared, they would say he is lying. If he said there was no need for an investigation since there is nothing to do the rumour, they would say he is lying. Instead he went with a third option, not giving the rumour any attention which had the reaction as expected to be honest. Time will tell if it was the right one.
They would have been an investigation if it had happened in The Tokyo Dome.
Jericho got a mixed reaction at World's End, some fans even got a Kylie Rae chant going when Jericho got tagged into the match.. Must have been embarrassing to hear that.
Considering AEW is copyright nuking fan footage of those chants, yeah it clearly got to him/them.

They want this allegation about one of Dave's (alleged) sources to blow away ASAP.
A reporter with a public history of issues with Jericho chose to release a story saying that Jericho had some interaction with Kylie Rae in a room where there were no witnesses.
It is a story that can not be proven unless Jericho says he had an inappropriate interaction with her. Otherwise, even if she says he did, then it is he said, she said as there are no witnesses.
Interesting to put out an unprovable story the morning of a PPV.
I will say that anyone taking any side in this is simply gossiping.

I don't have any idea if there is any merit to any of these allegations. I do know that according to the report that was very conveniently timed that there were only two people in the room. Neither one of them has made a public statement with regard to the issue. Even if they do, unless both agree that someone did or said something wrong there is zero way to prove anything.

The press conference after World's End was utterly embarrassing, with the wrestling press playing along in kayfabe, and mainstream press doing their actual fucking job and asking the proper questions.
Same with the Vince NDAs and playoffs, wrestling press kept quiet for decades and did fuck all to investigate it. Client journalism at its worst.

I have seen the independent pick this story up to Drama alert. Tony is gonna have to properly address this ASAP no more PR responses.
Here is the thing. I wasn't there where the incident supposedly happened over 3 years ago. In fact, by what the very sparse reports do say, there were only two people in the room. This makes it impossible to legally determine what happened without some other kind of evidence. I am not saying Kylie Rae is lying. In fact, she hasn't officially said anything. I am not saying Jericho is lying. Again, he hasn't actually said anything. The only thing we know is that a reporter made an unsubstantiated claim about two wrestlers in a situation that can not be proven one way or the other.
I am not on the side of Jericho or Kylie Rae. In fact, I think anyone who is needs to be told to stop as they are simply spreading rumors. Gossip is wrong. The only person in all this that I think differently about at all is the reporter who chose a very specific time to make an allegation that can not be proven one way or the other. I hope every single wrestler from here on out refuses to acknowledge he even exists. This is not how media is supposed to work.
This story has floated around for years at this point. It just happened to catch the attention of everyone this time around

Tony should do some type of investigation to see if there is any truth to these allegations and if there are any witnesses that can prove or disprove the allegations
If it happened then Tony is aware of it. Being the only people that would have been there are Chris and Kylie, there won’t be any other witnesses. There was no disciplinary committee at the time so it’s foolish for Tony to mention that now. All we have to go on is Kylie asking for her release shorty after AEW started, the allegations being levied against Chris, and Kylie giving a subtle heart reaction to the posts about the allegations. It’s almost telling that something might have happened being Chris, who is quick to respond to something like this, hasn’t said anything and Kylie hasn’t said anything. Is there an NDA in place where after she was released she wasn’t allowed to say anything about the incident🤷🏻♂️. If nothing happened, just say nothing happened. All we have is Tony saying “I won’t comment on it.”

You ask him a question and he’ll talk for 5 minutes not answering the question but talking about multiple topics no one asked about. The thing is, this was 4 years ago. If Tony were to hold an investigation now, that would just mean he was aware of allegations back then and didn’t do anything. Kylie asked Tony for her release just after AEW started. That’s odd. If there were any sort of allegations, Kylie would have said something by now. Maybe the allegations never happened but then why hasn’t Chris or Kylie come out and said otherwise. If you’re innocent, say something. If there’s an NDA, they can’t say anything even if they’re false. That’s what’s at question here; was Kylie granted her release after being made to sign an NDA?
The buzz around this suggests this is the tip of the iceberg. Either way TK is complicit or incompetent. And I wouldn’t trust an AEW investigation to tell me what I had for lunch.

Alvarez addressed the story when it happened four years ago - if Hausman sat on the story, then Alvarez had a hand in covering it up.

Well thanks to the disciplinary committee, that threat was removed. Just because a company has a great safety record doesn't mean that it never has accidents or trouble. Just that those things are rare and if they do happen then there is systems in place to deal with it.
When there's problems in a company the issue always stem from the Top and the culture created from senior management.

Then, months later, after covering his legal bases, Jared revealed proof of his innocence.
I was left with egg on my face. I haven't condemned a man upon allegations since. But the damage remains--he still hasn't gotten all those subs back.
I'm waiting for more info to emerge before I make any decision.

@keni95851 the difference is one of Vince's victims actually took him to court and decades later an internal investigation about unreported funds on the yearly audit is what lead to uncovering even more affairs he held over the years.
Until Kylie Rae herself makes a legal move to unseal all this info in court or Hausman's claim of multiple victims results in more of them speaking up, this doesn't feel like anything more than revenge over a twitter beef.

The only lady who claims anything non-consensual with Vince took him to court. The judge threw out the case saying there wasn't enough evidence. Basically Vince got in trouble because of corrupt financial dealings, not relations with women.
The story claims that Jericho may have done something inappropriate with Kylie in a room where they were the only two people. The investigation is over. It is impossible to prove anything.
It is truly sad that so many people are judging others without evidence.

@@Koopa13 As of recent law, NDA's are not enforceable with regard to sexual misconduct allegations. If there is any merit, she can speak. The issue is that according to the story there were only two people in the room. This makes it impossible to prove that Jericho did anything wrong.
So anyone saying Jericho did something wrong, or those saying Kylie is lying (though she hasn't said anything) is simply gossiping. There are no facts that can be determined. No guilt can be proven. It is truly sad that so many people are judging either way in this case.
