Its amazing talking up those AEW PPVs bolstered by special events that wont be duplicated as if those issues will effect other PPVs or any other sales for that matter for AEW. Its getting crazy. But it was like this with him in the past dismissing WWF/E. He just has a bias against WWE. But a lot more people liked the promotions he propped up more than they like AEW. Its the same act with less of an audience so its more glaring now. But its the same in the end. All this "He has sure lost it.", stuff is garbage he has always been this way. But all the fans of the territories or promotions against WWF back then that got massive praise then dont want to believe the current viewpoints is the same hype Dave gave their favorites then. The current argument that he was a genius then but he is way off now is laughable. Its the same unreasonable bias against WWE now for work-rate, second tiered promotions is still the same as its always been.
Cuz Revolution was actually a PPV.
Because like all critics he cares about quality more than mass consumption.

I don't get why Dave would find it hard to believe that Vince isn't talking business with anyone at TKO. Why would he be? This isn't like previous occasions, where he still held some power or had a powerful financial stake in the company. The last vestiges of his stock are being sold off, business at WWE is way up with him gone, and he's radioactive to TKO because of the lawsuit - why would anyone be talking to him about business?
I think it's generous to assume Vince even has contact with HHH or Stephanie to talk about the weather right now, let alone business. Christ the entire company is taking turns telling the audience and wrestlers "yeah, we know things sucked under Vince but he's gone now" without saying Vince's name.
I get his point though. Vince was in the business practically his whole life. Even I think he'd talk business. He's a businessman

I root for AEW as a WWE mark. It gave us the resurrection of Cody Rhodes, Return of CM Punk and gave guys like Sting, DBry, Samoa Joe, Christian and even Edge a platform to be weekly main event guys when WWE went younger.
That being said AEW is trending downward in tickets sold and ratings while WWE is absolutely surging. You can’t say business is good when you keep trending down even though wrestling is hot right now.
I hope they turn it around.

Legal issues aside, WWE should thank Vince forever if they are this profitable now, since he is the one who built the infrastructure and also created the bloodline storyline, pairing Roman and Heyman during the Thunderdome era and bringing Cody back. Triple H track record before taking over WWE creative was to get his ass kicked weekly by AEW when he was in charge of NXT, we will see how good he is now that he has to create storylines from scratch
