Nothing has come out apart from a unusual sexual kink and a lot of allegations. Nothing has been proven. Leave it to the actual courts instead of assuming.
The wrestling business doesn't pay well everywhere, and the wrestlers have families to feed, so if they have to go there, I wouldn't judge them too harshly.

Meltzer downplaying what Omega said during his stream is insane, boiling it down to "he just wants to move past it" like he said nothing else about the situation is wild.
Reminder that the f4w staff is generally spot on with their speculation and reporting. We all remember in the day they reported on how CM Punk violently attacked Jack Perry, cheap shotted him, swung at him many times, did no damage to Perry and then tried to put Perry in a lock that Perry easily reversed, then finally throwing monitors around and all over Tony Khan who he lunged violently at, then almost getting into a fight with Miro. Dave Meltzer later reported that they had been way too kind to Punk when they reported that -- and when we saw the footage, it was true. All true, especially how they had been too kind to Punk, they had. They should have gone so much harder with his insane actions.
There are plenty of reasons it wouldn't work. But "Who's he gonna get?" is toward the bottom of the list. Both WWE and AEW have bloated rosters and have a hard time making use of a lot of people. It's hard to imagine that someone couldn't put a promotion together with some of those people (plus people elsewhere) to become at least viable.
Now, viable enough to potentially compete with AEW, let along WWE? Not impossible. But that's harder to imagine.
Next article, "Suddenly John Laurinaitis is saying all of the allegations against Vince McMahon are false."
Key moves for Vince if he wants success:
1) Have a TV-14 product, much like Atittude Era. WWE & AEW are focused on the wrestling. He could focus more in hardcore matches, and also edgy storylines.
2) Have Jim Johnston producing your theme songs.
3) Have something like a WWE Network where people could watch around the world and LIVE!
Dave really blew past Kenny saying him and Punk were fine lol
And Kenny saying "fights happen, all the time, in wrestling and sports....and sometimes it's for the best!"
Dave and the observer have guided Tony right off the cliff and it's hilarious to me to watch them try and gaslight us lol
Dave and Brian will blow past anything that does not support the narrative that CM Punk is a lying thieving psychopath that's impossible to work with. I also love how Bryan just a few days ago said lets move past it. now here we are his 7th video on the matter.
I don't think it's so much who can he get it's more like who would even be willing to go with him.
OMG the very idea...part of me wants to see him try to start a promotion where he'll have 100% control over booking just to see how bad it can get. 😂
Who in their right mind would work for Vince now? Who would sponsor them? What network would be happy to strike a deal with him? Nobody is going to take that risk!
4:48 that’s hilarious that you have to mention that lol. “You got bit? I’m shocked, Larry seems like such a good dog!” Omega is like “uhhh no, it wasn’t Larry.” 😆
So Dave is saying Vince either will or won’t start a company. Thanks Dave!
It's called speculation
The video isn’t called “What Vince McMahon is Planning”, it’s called “What is Vince McMahon Planning?”. Obviously it was just going to be them speculating, which they did.
With insight like that i now understand why people pay $12.99 a month for his reporting.
I know Dave and Alvarez hate Vince and take every single chance to take a shot at him. But Vince still has a great business mind and he has a ruthless nature when it comes to competition I wouldn't bet against him he would be a threat if he were to get back into the business. Also I know Dave and Alvarez say Vince lost touch and makin terrible booking decisions etc but you guys idea of good TV(aew) isn't drawing either so I would side with the guy with a track record of success in the business
Love how Dave just grazed over Kenny’s take on the situation
He’s never going to draw a dime
Vince owning the NWA would be ironic
Is that true about 2003 being terrible for WWE? I have fond memories of that year. Mania was excellent, Smackdown roster was absolutely stacked; perhaps the best it's ever been. Holywood Rock that year. Goldberg debut. Iron man match between Lesnar and Angle. Eddie Guerrero started to really hit his stride with iconic "Lie, cheat, & steal" gimmick. Debut of Cena's rapper gimmick. Raw was a little weak, if anything, with Triple H basically burying former WCW talent all year.
02-03 were some of the best years until now. What the hell is he talking about?
@@bentron3030Only thing that would make any sense is that he means 2001 into 2002, but for someone whose success is centered around being a wrestling historian, it's an odd mistake.
2003 was in the midst of terrible TV. The WWE was trying for sheer shock value entertainment, because Stone Cold and The Rock were becoming less relevant as a main attraction.
@marcoparada6652 I don't think Austin and Rock lacked drawing power in 2003; Austin made his long-awaited return and Rock debuted one of his most beloved character iterations. Also your criticism of "sheer shock value entertainment" easily applies to the Attitude Era aka the most successful period in history so that doesn't make sense. But that's besides the fact that 2003 showcased some of the best wrestling in company history.
There was a lot of interesting programing in 02-03, but on WWE's end business wasn't so hot. More homes had cable, but less people were watching Raw compared to the 1998-2000 shows. PPV was starting to slow down too. On the plus side WWE had figured out their post-invasion roster. That was good for other companies, and Dave had just been yapping about when it was or wasn't a good time to start a promotion

TK could use the CM Punk chants so easily. Every once in a while just have Jack mock the crowd for it. Play it up. He wants to be a heel, this is nuclear heat, and some of the best “villains” are the ones who make a good point and some people agree with.

No one is saying it but Vince hiring Scott D'Amore could be on the table.
Vince McMahon himself having a non compete now is hilarious in its own.
Losing more and more respect for Meltzer as this Punk/Perry situation evolves
Vince could easily buy TNA, NWA, and maybe MLW combine them and get a TV deal. He would have enough talent and more than enough money to be a threat to at least AEW. People would watch just because Vince’s name is attached. Not to mention despite the allegations a lot of guys are/were still loyal to Vince. 🤷🏾♂️
Why is nobody bringing up him cashing all of this out is money for his lawsuits that he's going to face? With the Janelle Grant situation knowing this is probably going to go to court he's going to need money for that but nobody's bringing that up everybody's like what's he planning he's planning a freaking legal defense
Legal defence against what juggernaut exactly? If it gets tied up in litigation, he has MORE money and he’ll destroy the other side. That’s why the legal defence isn’t being brought up 🤦🏽
@@jimmyjohnson3149 That's the point he's making sure he has enough money to tie this up into litigation. And that's what the billionaires do out spend the other side. And the legal defense fund logic makes more sense then starting another wrestling company. And there's probably some legal agreement with TKO that says he can't
He may be planning on buying a pardon.

I got it, he should buy the XWF name and footage and bring it back 😆
Vince buying tna would shock us. I think Vince could buy tna secretly just to fuck the momentum of aew and finally start competing with wwe and to get wrestlers on board
First in line to work for Vince again: Brock Lesnar
I'd watch if he buys the rights to own the name WWF again, and I don't care about the wrestlers, if he wants to build a new Attitude Era, he will be fine, because it's more about the stories than the wrestling itself.
Who would want to work with Vince after what happened.
I think Vince still has enough loyalists to make something that could have a solid short run
I don't see the big deal if people chant for CM Punk at AEW shows. It's not like you're going to flip the channel to Raw or Smackdown. Neither air on the same night. There is no issue acknowledging that CM Punk is a huge star within the wrestling bubble. And the people paid. And it plays into the story behind the characters. Those paying fans can chant "C-M-Punk" til they're blue in the face. Tony Khan and Jack Perry can sleep easy knowing tickets were sold and merch was purchased.
Vince McMustache should back track 100 years and go all in on a carni vaudeville promotion

You talk about his failures in the eyes of fans while leaving out the massive success of record profitability. The bottom line is what matters to top end decision makers.
This isn't to say I think Vince will start a competing wrestling company. I think he's fully done with wrestling. Maybe he starts some bodybuilding thing or slap competition thing or some other business...or maybe he legit retires and just wants to be buried with his money.
