And don't forget to Hydrate...
gain water lose water
Lmao
😂😂
He's probably had that Mustang since he first bought it out of boot camp at 9.5%
xxuncexx and still making payments
Wow.
holy shit marine you made me choke on some beer with that shit
I got out in 2001. I guess somethings never change! Lol...2 more payments and I'm done!
I graduated boot camp in 1985. Bought a 1985 Mustang in 1986 when I was stationed at Camp Geiger, NC. Had it for 17 years.
I never would've guessed a Marine had a mustang. I'm being sarcastic
Bought from the used car dealer off post, with a 46% Interest rate. Will impress the stripper he's dating.
We are all poor!
I mean at least its somewhat an oldie tho. Older mustangs are nicer in my opinion. Especially when you get into late 60's and early 70's.
im shocked its not red
@@bigbens55 It actually is, but there's a lot of sooth from shooting situations.
Marine Corps bizniz and need to know basis crap. Commandant and all that.. don't ask don't tell.
Damn he really just flexin on us
Goddamnit hes an american hero
You❤❤😉????
He should have had a NCO check him. I’m sure they would have noticed something and revoked his pass.
Why they remind me of bubba and Forrest gump
Damn, the Marines do everything, even auto care, with enthusiasm, energy, and attention. You guys (and gals) are damn good. Proud of you.
"The Marines do everything, even auto care..."🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i always saw and understood the point and importance of vehicle inspections. but at the same time, it helps to dumb down the attitude of the enlisted ranks when they are told, essentially, that they were not trusted to take care of mundane things and were going to have their hand held on everythiing. POVs werent as common in the 80s as they are today, but when i was an NCO at 29 palms i would have vehicle inspections at random times rather than just before a 96. we even held a platoon oil change once. made it more of an inclusive thing than an inspection. dont treat your Marines like they are babies.they are idiot children, not babies!
Bingo....
Renaissance MarineTV Corp isn't a democracy freak
On the stumps your car needs to be in tip top shape going up the mountain kills everything
YUT!!!
Agree and disagree. Yes marines are not all idiots but some are down right dumb. If you take a step back a realize that it’s more of a teaching tool rather then punishment. Some tards don’t know to check fluids or inspection stickers. Be a good NCO and mentor rather then bitching 24/7. Just my take and yes some ppl take it way to far
I knew Gen. Neller as a 2nd Lt. He use to drive a Amtrak upon upgrade on his rank he started flying hueys now his comfort leather chair has a 454 open headers. SEMPER-FI
PLATOON 3024....05/18/78
Call me crazy, but I would have loved going on a cross country road trip with these two. I think it actually would have been the closest to boot camp that I could have experienced.
I met sgt maj green on a field trip to quantico for my jrotc class. My instructor knows him well
P.S. hes a really cool guy and gave a really nice speech
captain Norwood 2 lucky asf
Damn General driving a hot 85 GT. hell of a cam too
Man that general has kick ass taste in cars a freaking foxbody can’t go wrong with that
Sounds like it has a miss on idle or it could be modifications.
and that my friends was SGT MAJ Bubba Gump.......fried shrimp, Pineapple shrimp, coconut shrimp, shrimp gumbo, shrimp burger, shrimp.......Semper Fi!
Don't laugh. I had a guy like that in my Basic Training Platoon in the Army. I always told myself, that there was a guy who was by no means a rocket scientist by any length of the imagination, but he was a person whom I was positive that one day, this guy from the mean streets of Detroit back in the mid 80's, with his drive and spirit could one day end up earning a MOH for throwing himself on a grenade or something like that. Well, fast forward about 30 yr.'s now, and as far as I know, no MOH for him that I am aware of. But however, I did hear that he did a full 20+ yr. career in the Army and he honorably retired as a MSG (Master Sergeant). Good for him and others like him!
What about "Crawfish"
Not funny
I think we all caught on to that right when he opened his mouth, I gotta find Bubba!
Aye Marines listen to that chop on the Commandant's 'Stang!
Thank you, Marines! You guys and gals are our heroes!
gals?
GOD BLESS U.S. MARINE'S. Thank You for all Your Wonderful Service..🇺🇸🌏🌎🌍🇺🇸💞
Sounds beautiful!!! Thank you for your service, GOD BLESS YOU ALL 🙏. 🙏 ❤
Gen Neller cracks me up. He put the salt in salty Marine!
My Corps has become so self-aware...
Klaus Salem-Libelle your Corps? Nah. You have to be about stupid to say some shit like that, or a fake.
That's bad right?
😐
@@longdongdaddyfromcincinnat9083 It's always been "your corps, my corps"
5 years and change with the navy/marines somehow I managed to get out of every vehicle inspection. I don't even remember how I did :D.
Man these videos are awesome.. what a time to be a Marine. Would have kept me out of trouble 😂
Some still got in trouble in the Marine Corps. A lot of Marines were UA, (Unauthorized Absence) aka AWOL. I some how stayed out of trouble and made Sgt, 4 months before I was discharged. Almost stayed in but decided to get out and let my hair grow long. I served 1973-1977. Semper Fidelis
Look at the Commandant driving an E Cam Fox, you go brother. Semper Fidelis.
That's a nice 3rd gen mustang "The mustang to least mustang". Semper Fi sir
He borrowed that shit from a Lance Coolie!
And this is one of the examples why the retention in the marine corps is so bad.
Drove the same truck for my entire 20 years.
Semper Fi gentlemen! Leadership by example....awesome.
He seems down-to-earth. I am 100% sure he can afford a newer car, but he probably drives the same car he had as a Lieutenant.
"Yeah General, could you just stand and talk, you know like a human? Thanks"
General Neller:
That is a beautiful looking mustang
General Neller looks like Gordon Ramsay.
last day of ETSing out of the Army I had cleared everything and was no shit about to roll out the base for the last time and my 1st Sergent made my first line Sergent do a POV inspection. I was like where are you going to file that inspection considering i had all my records from company in my car..
Sir, sick ride.
Thank you,🗽 You both you look great! Everyone have a safe holiday...
Semper Fidelis!
Did you shake the front end, check the tire tread depth, look underneath for anything suspicious?
I remembered we got caught by our Staff lying that we checked the oil on some trucks. He asked us what number were parked in. We said number 35 Staff Sgt. We walked there, open the hood up, and no dip stick. He asked us where is the dip stick. We told him it was there sir. Well, we went back to the office and he pulled the dip stick. We spent the 72 hour weekend holiday on duty each night around the barracks. Great Staff Sgt who was with us in Grenada and later the last unit in Beirut, Lebanon. Our First Sgt. was the best of the best. I heard he died in the 2000's of cancer.
PAGE 11's and STD checks for everybody...
SEMPER FI‼️🍻
RAAAH! Good ‘ol skate briefs from Oki.. I miss those.
What’s the commandant doing with his hands when he speaks?
He’s trying not to knife hand
"And don't forget to hydrate!"
And this is why we do one term. Lol
Good ol’ Foxbody Mustang! I recognized that from the thumbnail surprisingly 😂
Love the humility to put in lines like “you know, back when I was on the drill field.”
I seriously had a flash back at that point.
Humility? Nah man that was about to be some narcissistic war story stumbling into a vague lesson that everyone only listened to half of lol.
@@HazeGreyAndUnderway it’s humility bc he’s making fun of himself for the exact reason that you pointed out.
Did said flashback involve getting smoked on said drill field?
Wise words 🔥💜🔥
Ya I remember going through this crap. And surprise surprise another officer with an unsat uniform. Can't a general at least pay to have his cover squared away? I know he's making more than I did as a corporal and I was AJ Squared Away.
Great Marines !!!!!!!!
That thing was choppin! Hell yeah!
Had a Master Sergeant once that denied a guy pre deployment leave to home before we went to Iraq because he had a microscopic crack in his windshield. Right then & there I converted to the religion of DD-214ism & I sleep soundly in its warm gentle embrace each night.
Had the exact same thing happen to a guy in my unit.
Just curious, was that Mustang a Sergeant who was given a commission?
Nice ride General!👍
It's something to think about.
As a once pee on private in the Corps I couldn’t afford a car......these guys make bookoo money!!!
Hello. After the inspection, I am accustomed to the state of California, a small settlement in Syria and together with Syria + Greece.
LMAO, you KNOW he doesn’t get a damned vehicle inspection before every 96.
1985-1986 Mustang 5.0 T-Top
What about it??
they do this then cut thousands and thousands of Marines lose at the same time for the mad dash to the gate, usually good for 7-8 car accidents
Must not have been safety briefed hard enough.
I like this...
SIR..YES SIR!!!
My wimpy civilian ass holds you guys in high regard. Semper Fidelis!
Thank you. I'm old now 67 yrs old. I served the Marine Corps 1973-1977. I'm still so proud to be a Marine for life. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant
I wish I were 18 so that i could join the marines like my cousins, sadly the school that I go to is AFJROTC, so when I join the marines It will be my first time seeing what it's like, I practice a bit of marine drill but it's hard when all you know is things from the air force
That Gamer Dude
Visit your local marine recruiting office. They'll set you up.
WeatherOne Alpha Whiskey ok
That Gamer Dude
Let us know how it goes. btw, I am in AFJROTC. They teach similar drill movements, such as calling to attention.
Fuck drill it's all about slaying bodies EEEERRAAH?
Did you make it?
Saw this on AFN today lol
I dig his haircut
Nice 80's Foxbody 5.0 This is also a T-Top. Very rare to find one these days.
That below text applies to all of the 1st Marine Division, first. Then to all the vehicles at MCLB Barstow.
Gen. Neller was my company Commander in '81. A co. 1/1 0311 78 to 81.
What happened to the Corps?
I was stationed at 8th & I during the late 80’s. H&S Guard Co. I still miss that place.
Hey buddy what Year’s were you at 8th & I,I was there from 88 to 90

The Gunny
@@gunnydavis1251 Hello Gunny Davis,
We where there at the same time!
I was there from ‘86 to ‘89.
Where you with A or B Company, the Marching Companies?
I was H & S Company, Guard.
I stood at Post One, the main gate, a lot.
I still think about that place.
Semper Fidelis,
Lcpl Franklin
Hello Marine
We certainly humped the same ground. I was sent there from 2/1st
Marines I really didn’t want to go there ,I loved being a Grunt besides the Barracks was my third special duty Sea Duty, the Drill Field so in my opinion Barracks duty was just too much, apparently my opinion was of no concern to the Corps,I was told to pack my trash and report to Marine Barracks Washington for duty that was 1988 I was a Staff Sergeant.
So that’s what I did.
I was brought there to be a plt sgt
for one of the Marching Companies
But there was no billit available.
I saw the Sgt Maj Winborn was his name at the SNCO Club that evening
I was having a beer with 1st Sgt Sanders, I knew him from 1st Recon
Anyway the Sgt Maj said some disparaging remarks about the Infantry and I didn’t respond respectfully I knew he had come from the band and I said something about him being a skin flute player. nothing like starting off a new job on the right foot .
So I was sent to H&S Co.Special Services a Marine that had been meritoriously promoted to every rank
On his third special duty ,with 15 meritorious masts,Was passing out Basketballs
So what does a good Marine do I adapted and overcame l made it the best Special Services in the Corps
Then about halfway through my tour
a Captain came down to my area
his name was Valandingham he wanted me to take over the Guard Company I asked him why he said he had a weak SNCOIC and needed me to be in charge for him Col Weed approved it so there I went.I can’t remember how long I did that job not too long a few months maybe but I was walking up to the Guard Shack one day one of my
l/cpls came out of the hatch and had tears I asked him WTF and he told me that the Captain had yelled at him for something that pissed me off
I went inside asked SSGT Bayless
he confirmed I went in to the Captains office shut the door and informed him of the error of his ways.
I returned to Special Services and did the remainder of my tour
I was never so glad to see a duty station in my rear view mirror !
The Gunny
@@gunnydavis1251 OMG YES!
I knew Captain Valandingham.
He was our captain in Guard.
I’m sure we knew or saw each other.
Happy New Year to you and your family!

Why did I think the title made it seem they were going to sing the theme song to phineas and ferb...
Best Sgt.Maj Forever Sgt.Maj Green

The good ole days 1975 Ft Bragg N.C. the PT in morning n the 4 to 10mile runs everyday .The Dragons club on base happy hour beer a nickel mixed drink a dime .We had a good time .
The SGT Major talks like Benjamin Bueafort Blue from Forrest Gump.
Excellent cammed 5.0 😃
"Dont drink and drive. Dont fuck it if it has a ring. Dont get into a fight in town but if you do...you must win."
In the '80s they'd park a totaled car at Swoop Circle at Lejuene as an example to marines of what happens if they werent careful on their drives home. Usually it was a car that involved a marine fatality.
He's still paying off that foxbody from 1979 with it's 17%apr
my guy with the wiper fluid
what a badass
For the 182 Flores🌸
gen neller I need a car like that too !! please !! lol
Damn, I kinda wanna hear what the CPT was saying about back when he was on the drill field.
I read this and I was hoping so bad that some USMC officers singing the phineas and ferb theme song
love the fox 5.0
I am certain Gen. Neller was a mustang than a butter bar.
Most Mustang officers were butter bars themselves as their initial officer rank. That's why most start with the pay grade O-1E. In very limited circumstances would you see a Mustang officer start his or her officer career higher than O-1E
Hold you till 4 to make sure your room is field day as well
What happens if the General's horn doesn't work? Does he get confined to the barracks for the holiday weekend so the Corps can keep him safe?
It would take the Secretary of the Navy, Secretary of Defense or the President himself to do that considering the Commandant of the Marine Corps is a Joint Chief of Staff and very few people can tell a four star officer what to do in general.
Aure 🌸
is that Bubbas (Forest Gump movie) little brother next to the Gen., seriously they are looking pretty much alike ;-)) (and as I german, I can only support vehicle inspection and road safety, don't wonna loose a tire at 140 mph, hrhrhr)
I. Had to focus anger on some that are good a strong to shield the ones they love too
Check n check
There is a secret service preventing the shroud from turning on sent from
Semper Fi Marines
when they dont tell you to hydrate at the end of videos >:(
