Secret Invasion reveals that the Skrulls are planning something huge. They are replacing everyone, they can look like anyone, and you can trust no one.
They seem to be planning to trigger a dirty bomb that will start world war 3.
But there’s something else going on. We have a theory on what the Skrulls are actually planning. And it explains Nick Fury’s dark secret in the show, a terrible sin that reveals why the Skrulls never found a home.
There’s a huge twist, and it’s going to connect to a conspiracy that we uncovered, something that trust me, you won’t see coming.
And it will connect to
Captain America 4 and the Thunderbolts, and even a much bigger conflict in phase 6.
So we got something really cool in store for you in this video.
The show’s main villain is Gravik. He’s preying on the rage of young displaced Skrulls. And they are angry and blame Nick Fury.
Doug: Why, what did he do?
Well back in Captain Marvel, Fury and Carol Danvers made a promise to help the Skrulls find a new home.
The Skrulls are a displaced people, like space refugees. They lost their home in the Kree war and found refuge on Earth.
Despite the promise being made back in the 90s, the Skrulls are still stuck on Earth. This is why Gravik blames Fury for the broken promise to his people.
Now there’s a massive twist to why the Skrulls are still homeless, and I will explain it in a minute. 0
ad here
Gravik fuels the anger of his people, radicalizing them against humanity, justifying terrorist attacks to achieve their goals.
And that goal seems to donate a dirty bomb and start a war between the United States and Russia. And according to Talos that could bring about the extinction of humanity.
Doug: so what is this dirty bomb thing anyway, is it like a really stinky bomb that needs cleaning?
Very stinky, very dirty, the kind that kills you with radiation.
A dirty bomb isn’t as powerful as a nuke, but there’s still a pretty big explosion. It also releases massive amounts of radiation.
So I don’t think that Gravik is planning to end humanity with one dirty bomb. The implication here is that he wants to start a war between two of the world’s most powerful nations.
You know the kind of war where nukes fly everywhere, and the Earth becomes a wasteland.
But here’s the thing, the dirty bomb is a red herring.
The whole nuclear war is so 90s. We live in the age of information and misinformation.
Social media and news outlets are the modern-age battlefields. Paranoia and propaganda are bullets and missiles. Fake news and AI-generated lies are the nukes of this new world.
All of this fits perfectly with the spy thriller tone of the show.
The Skrulls are at their best when they’re used as smoke and mirrors kind of threat, not as warriors on some CGI battlefield.
So before we explain what the Skrulls are actually planning, we need to first explain the possible big twist of the show. and it’s Nick Fury’s dark secret.
And this will reveal a far bigger conspiracy with the Skrulls.
And trust me, I got a really huge theory in store for you, something you won’t see coming.
But first, we need to explain Nick Fury’s dark secret and why the Skrulls are invading.
In the comics version of Secret Invasion, which was written by Brian Michael Bendis, the Skrulls invade Earth because of a religious crusade. They belive that Earth is their promised land. - Krátké a kreslené filmy

I think the main villain has the power that groot has
Rocket Money is a great app that I’ve used since it was TrueBill and it’s amazing! Makes my life so much easier and manageable! I love it fr fr 💯 Thanks Ryan!
Yo! Don't Be a Menace? Yes!!!!! Lol! I'm here for that!
@@robohand29that’s alittle too obvious
That means "Attack on ASGARD" storyline is coming in the MCU 🔥🔥🔥
I'm glad that videos like this exist. I'd never be able to point out all the easter eggs, find hidden meaning or craft a theory myself.
I literally just said this before clicking on the video 😭
Right?! Plus I love hearing his ideas about where he thinks things will go and tie together (or relate in different ways to stories)... Like it's valid entertainment just listening to it and gets me hype or keeps me 'in' this universe's stories when prior I'd get bored time to time or skip some. ALSO his ideas are pretty baller, I'd love for the story to make those turns and be that ambitious!
Ryan is so good, huh! Love him
U can if ur watching a simple dc movie or show lmao
I definitely dont find to many Easter eggs, especially first time watching a show/movie but usually I can come up with my own theories of what I just watched but not as good as Screencrush, his theories are usually way better and make more sense than mine.
I love what Marvel is doing. The world is gonna be so screwed up by Phase 6, then suddenly Kang shows up and everything is too scattered to come together to stop him and the multiverse collapses. I think people need more patience with this saga.
At least this time, there won't be any beef between the heroes this time round.
Facts. People complaining just to complain
I’ve been saying this the entire time. The were laying down the seeds during phase 4 and we are about to eat!
@@exeggutivejudge3747disagree they’ll be plenty of beef among heroes not knowing who to trust. Then when they variants show up it’s not a guarantee every one of them will be good variants. Definitely hero beef coming up
Agreed but still anything post endgame was almost doomed. It's like MJ going from NBA to the MLB. Good? Sure.
What it was? Nope.
That's a really in-depth theory and I honesty hope it happens. It doesn't really play into the multiversal aspect of the current MCU phase but that might be a good thing since neither the Skrulls or Thunderbolts can defeat Kang anyway. It's a really good example of "You're playing checkers, I'm playing chess." type of theory.
I wonder what going to happen if they revealed that the Sorcerer Supreme is a skrull 😁
@@pinaka5461 Wong? No way but I like your thinking.
@@withershin why not, all the time he tells Dr strange don't do reckless things but Wong behaviour is the most reckless in phase 4,and he watching The Sopranos in 2025🤣😂
@@pinaka5461 LOL yeah that is a bit odd watching the Sopranos for the first time in 2025. Fair point. 🍻
I think that because of the lose of trust in the avengers, they will not be able to defeat Kang, they will be too weak and possibly the world would be in flames.
It was never Fury's job to find them a home. It was Carol's. And yes there seems to be countless habitable planets that they could possibly make into a new home, but the 1st episode implies there needs to be certain properties to the planet, like being able to grow the plant/tree that Talos showed Fury. I would also assume that any planet capable of supporting life would already have plenty of life. Not to mention that the Skrulls are still trying to stay away from the Kree. That narrows the search a lot
They also have a connection to the guardians. It wouldnt be hard to find them a new home.
I was also thinking that travel time could be an impact. Not wanting to spend a long time on the journey.
But Fury promised them
I feel like the person who is using the face of “Gravic” is actually Nicks son. But died but he keeps wanting to use the face of his enemies dead son
The arm stretch that Gravik does looks very similar to Groot’s ability
Looks like a flerkin opening their mouth
@@brianmccormack1brianmccorm488 told you it was Groot 😜
The writers at MCU will hate you lol, I love this theory, it’s as perfect at Kilmonger’s motivation. You can’t exactly dismiss it because they have a legitimate beef. Naturally, their method of achieving their goal will label them as the antagonists but in reality the first antagonist was Fury according this theory. This story arc sounds better than any Multiverse arc to be honest
What they will show will be nowhere close to this theory. They will just show some generic political bs
The writers in the MCU need to really step up their game. Especially with shows. Wandavision was pitiful compared to what it could of been. It wasnt house of M, it didnt flip the narrative and make mutants exist, it barely even acknowledged mutants
@@Dan55888 secret invasion is great
everytime a new show comes out you guys come up with great yet complex theories, but in the end the the stories are simple and straight forward.
"Simple" beingvthe key. It's amazing when highly paid writers come up with worse plots in games and movies than random people making a fraction of what they make making theories for fun
Ryan wasn’t so far from the actual ending this time tho
Fury's sin is that he secretly had some of the skrull used as experimented on that would explain the superpowers (super skrull).
Your theories are mind blowing ,and awesome as always ryan..
it would be amazing to see Bennett back as quack ,and very interesting to see the super skrull.
🦆
Do you think that scrolls are pissed at humans for so quickly accepting Asgardians in a couple of years and not scrolls when they were here 30 years first?
That’s a great point I’m not hearing a lot of people talking about.
The remaining Asgardians barely fill a small village...
@@OldManShoutsAtClouds Do we know how many Skrull are left in the MCU though? Didn't their numbers get decemated by the Kree?
I love your logic here but as an actual human that was only allowed to read Thor comics because as my late mother put it, "this is close enough to Norse mythology"... she'd give Thor a pass but Skrulls are demonic. It was a different time back in the day. This oddity passes the "logic" test. Batman and X-men (oddly) were fine too.
@@OldManShoutsAtClouds small Village, but they already have a say and weight on international polítics
Fury even said in age of ultron he used to have eyes everywhere and ears everywhere else! You may be on to something
Hey Ryan, don't sleep on that First Skrull disguised as a young black kid that came to the fence at New Skrullos being Furys Trojan Horse. They both showed up at the same time. Fury always has contingencies
Good observation
Maybe it's his son
Great Video! Now, please explain Skrulls and clothing for me. Dead Skrulls have cloths on, but when live Skrulls change shape, their clothing changes too. So, are they naked sometimes, and other times in clothing? -- I know, I know, it's just a show, I should really just relax, but still... I'd love to hear your theory on this!
Did you know that the chessboard was set up incorrectly?
I really hope Secret Invasion gets a bigger stage or another season cuz its a big storyline, I hope its not grounded like Falcon and Winter Soldier.
I know my theory won't get mentioned, but here it goes Remember the comment fury made about know a good looking skrull? What if the one leading the skrull is fury's Son... Remember why would talos say he took fury abandoning them personal. This is why that skrull did just kill fury. He's his FATHER...
I had the same idea!!! I although thought that the face of the leader is from fury s son, he s imitating him to taunt Fury and use it against him!
That would explain “you are the cause”
he is the first new skrull.
THANKS for this!!! Doug and I have the same philosophy of saving and spending :)
I truly love this theory!
A power plant that’s actually IRL the old Shredded Wheat factory in Welwyn garden city, Hertfordshire U.K.
I need to understand how Skrulls work! When a Skrull takes the form of someone wearing clothing (which is often), what happens when they remove the clothes? A hat for example. Is the hat a part of them? Can they even take the hat off? If I were to cut the visor off of the hat, would the hat bleed? If the person they copied had a pocket full of change, would they also have that same change in their pocket? 🤔😵💫
Had the same questions watching the first episode 🤔
Answer is yes, and pay attention to the source material
It showed that in Captain Marvel. They do copy every physical detail except for things like certain memories.
The black kid at the fence took off his hat when ask to take his true form.
@@forcewars5691not everyone read comics 😭
Who else is a skrull?
Your dog
Definitely not me. Why would I be a skrull? I'M HUMAN I SWEAR.
Your mom
None
Paul from Heavy Spoilers for sure
Wouldn’t it be wild if Fury saves all the people in the Fracking Machine and in the last shot we see the Fantastic Four among them.
The fact that y’all had Don’t be a menace clip is funny. I love it, Diverse 😂
Another awesome video thanks I'm really digging Secret Invasion can't wait for next episode
I love this channel! Thank you Ryan 💯💪😎
I hope this is true, the current storyline of skrulls being mad because Nick didn’t find them a home is kinda lame
I love that theory. It'd make for an entertaining series of movies and shows
Graviks arm in the trailer looks more like a replication of the Flurkin ability than Mr Fantastic to me.
I love it. Brilliant theories. Think you guys might be spot on.
These are some of the best theories they've had in a while to be fair 🙏🏾
I really hope that Thunderbolt Ross is ALREADY Red Hulk and that there is a surprising reveal in Brave New World
I mean a "surprising" reveal
This would actually be great to watch! Thanks for the break down
I have a question about skulls
they can shapeshift - and that includes the persons clothes
but when they die, they keep the human clothes, and only their "skin" shifts back to skull-form.
meaning their original "skull clothes" is gone?
The cloths are dead skin cells
I love this channel ❤
I hate love your theories because there so good and plot twist wise and then marvel just delivers something basic and Simple. Great theory tho
These theories are always better than the actual show/movies.
why isnt any one noticing that giah told talos that they were decoys and talos still let fury and hill attempt to track them, i feel like that cements your theory about talos being the big bad, he even uses the word "abandoned" to describe Fury's actions after the blip, hes clearly also got hard feelings. he even feels bad when an enemy skrull is killer, probably because he feels bad that he has to hide the fact that hes on their side and got one of his own soldiers killed. And when he tells giah to ask the people shes working for, she probably means gravik taking orders from Ross.
Ryan is a Skrull and has been fooling everyone since the release of She Hulk when he unfortunately died
Thank you for putting a, “Don’t Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In the Hood” clip in here. Now all I need is a shirt featuring Doug with Loc Dogs braids. Pacifier and condom and all!
Don’t Be A Puppy On Screen Crush While Lapping Your Water On the ‘Tube
Glad someone else remembers that movie
MESSAGE!
Amazing content with all this stuff going on about the future of kang this is a good counter to the whole wide universe stuff.
Hey Ryan, totally unrelated, but it would be really really COOL of ScreenCrush to do a recap of the FNAF timeline before the movie comes out. yes, I know it's a video game but it will belong to a Cinematic Universe of its own once the film is out. Since you guys do such awesome vids about the recap and lore of movies, I just think it would be cool if you did one for FNAF as well!! Much love anyways.
Pretty good episode
This is really good and would like to see it happen
Haven't watched a marvel project in 2 years. Hopefully this show is good. The ending of ep 1 got me hooked up and I hope they don't mess the show up.
Love it
That was really good
Maybe the answer is in the comics...but I'm not a comic reader...so...what about the clothes changing at the same time the skrulls change their appearance? Can they make clothes out of thin air every time they transition from one form to another? Is that another power/ability they have?
At some point before the series ends, you should definitely hit up a connection in the CGI world to morph Doug into a Skrull. That would be AWESOME! 😁👍
Captain Marvel should have taken the Skulls to Thanos' retirement planet after Thor evicted it's only resident.
Heck, wouldn't Gamora's barren homeworld be a good Skrull home?
If it's barren, they can't grow food, right?
@@ColorMeConfused29 Well, I meant of people.
Love this theory!
ngl this would be on brand with MCU Nick Fury
tried to use Hydra weapons for himself -> he lost SHIELD to entirely to Hydra in so many ways
tried to rally Avengers under him -> Avengers undermine him and take control away from him
and now, tries to use Skrulls for himself -> Skrulls turn their backs on him
somehow still portrayed as a badass when in retrospect he's primarily a polyglot strategist with only just bare minimum stamina for field work lmao
Nukes are a thing of the past. All the world super powers have those weapons now, and the Skrull Council only really needs two Super Skrulls to destabilize an entire planet. Not everyone has super powers or super soldiers on their side. It's a very closely guarded secret where Old Man Rogers has retired to, but with the Skrulls' ability to infiltrate all areas of the military-intelligence apparatus and possibly gain access to that intel, they probably already know where Rogers really went and grabbed Old Man Rogers when he was "on the moon" or in space or whatever like some conspiracy theorists think. Rogers' body is probably already in one of the stasis chambers so the Super Skrulls can just keep copying Captain America's powers as many times as they want...
I hope they don't hold back punches here. I want to see some big characters come out to be Skrulls.
You guys cracked the Code!
The dont be a menace reference 😂😂
It's an absurd plot device for the Skrulls to place the task of finding another planet on the back of Fury solely. What have the rest of them done these past 30 years? They act like he's Astronaut Jones.
Harrison Ford: fuck stop asking me about movie franchises
Also Harrison Ford: Joins the MCU
Great video, just needs more doug 🤣
I haven't watched any of the new show, struggling to care.
Marvel has to really pick up their game after the phase 5 or 4 or whatever debacle
Hope they do
This show is winter soldier falchion but with skrulls. Hope I’m wrong though 😮
It was the Skrull and Bones. The Illumi-naughty.
I thought the President's name in Iron Man 3 was named "Ritson," too. Played by William Sadler. 🤷♂
3:34 😂😂😂😂
If this won't happen, I will be disappointed. This plot is hella good!
Even if this happen they will not going to revealed.
Nick Fury didn’t want to find a place for the skrulls cause as soon as they find one for them, the Kree will destroy their new planet. Which is why he build the orbiting space station to protect against the Kree and other potential threats like Galactus.
Fun idea, ross was secretly behind wakanda attack for vibranium so he can make his own vibranium ironman suit
Most of the time your theories are a stretch. This is kinda solid. 👍🏻
Simple. Elegant. And above all, makes sense.
This is the series that MCU needed a long time ago
Look i know we're in the ealry stages of Secret Wars. But, i was going back and watching old videos. Is there a Part 2 of What if Killmonger didn't die in the works????
Too smart and coherent to be true
Has anyone noticed that’s at the end of ant man quantum mania Scott was have a déjà vu/ confused of what was going on around his surroundings? I think The skrulls definitely have him captured and getting him tested.
Did I miss something in Prescod's theory? How did he realize that Ross was a skrull? Did he just attack him hoping that Ross could talk him down, or did he hear or see something, a code that Ross would've known but this skrull didn't? I'm gonna watch it again
🔥
I wouldnt say they acted "like pawns". They got a home, they should have happily helped out in gratitude, no matter how long it takes.
I really hope Spiderman 4 happens and that they introduce Norman Osborn! Please do it right? Also Venom! Please!
They need to turn King in Black comic run into a TV series!!!!!
maybe super skrull are fantastic four 1st villain
All of this sounds great. But why didn't Marvel think of this way back in Phase 4?
I think if the original author is still alive and available, they should have first Crack at a new version of the story/ script. Because chances are that they have thought about this for years and possibly decades. And they might already have an alternate version ready to go.
Weird how in the trailer nick fury is wearing the same outfit Everett Ross is wearing in episode one
Don’t be a menace to south central while drinking your juice in the hood. Love that movie
Super soldier syrum that makes super skulls could also make a red hulk 🤔
ever think why Hulk is green?😁
_Why are the episode names referencing Amongus?_
Well they obviously can’t use Norman Osborn as that’s a Sony property. So who else in the MCU would start an organization called Hammer…
...Justin Hammer, perhaps?
New Asgard for example,
why can we just share? 👍
After hearing all these theories, I have 1 word to say….Mephisto!!
I would think it would take decades to find a home?? Gotta find a habitable planet that's devoid of any super predators, no cataclysms constantly, minerals that can be used for everything, and definitely infrastructure. So they need to chill out! 😂
Plus they live longer, Talos is 136 human years, thereby less than a third of his life has been on Earth.
That would be like us complaining after 7 or 8 years.
It would but I think Fury probably put it on the back burner because of the Blip and Saber. You would think Ms Marvel would still be scouting though since she's out in space
Ambitious?
Yes.
Love it?
ABSOLUTELY!
Next week episode will start we're it left off so when Fury walk away it was fast. They will go back and focus we're Agent Hill and they will show that she will be turning into a Skull....
New title -Avengers: Age of the Tinfoil Hat (or just - Thunderbolt Conspiracy)
Not bad...💯💪🏿
I believe somehow fury is responsible for talos wife’s death. Talos found out and this is all his doing.
Hey Ryan,
Your theory is awesome! However I'll bet 100 to 1 odds the MCU will slap a bow on this with a lackluster ending and going forward this awesome plot synapsis will not touch on in any other property. (Sadly). And to add to this unfortunate point. In The Marvels Nick Fury is clean cat and super spy bad ass looking. Like he is in properties before Secret Invasion. So given that, he most likely may wrap up this Skrull issue within this series.
Ok scratch the part about clean cut Nick Fury since Ms. Marvel took place before Secret Invasion.
Gravick is nick fury's son. Gravick is half skrull and human. Gravick took especially hard that fury left. Anyway 1st episode was dope.
No he isn't he escaped from genocide piloted the ship himself go back and rewatch
Gravik*****
@@devoxslade bro I said this after I watched episode one. It was a guess that I'm not that concerned with. Now I'm on to new theory's. Like what if Rhody is a skrull? What if he's been one for years? Also what if Talos is secretly the bad guy pulling the strings? What if gavick works for him? What if the black widow that died was a skrull and Nat is secretly working for Nick? Is lil Wayne a Skrull. I think the president is a skrull, cause we're gonna have a new president for captain America 4. I think it's Ross
@@devoxslade look at you tryna tell me something after watching episode 2. You silly. Ain't nobody cares about what marvel has up his sleeve. Bro they been fucked up. Civil war should of been a whole phase after the infinity saga. The secret invasion should've been a phase not a show.
Wonder why Carol didn't get held from the nova Corp when they existed.
How is Everyone(esp. Carol Danvers) forgetting the "RETIREMENT PLANet" that Thanos had???🤔🤔
Wasn't that planet said to be completely uninhabited in Endgame???
Couldn't Carol Danvers inform the Skrulls about that planet???🤷♂🤷♂
bro i just heard that marvel told the director of secret invasion to not read any secret invasion comics
I'll say it first, TALOS will turn out to be the bad guy in the end
It's all very well seeded, just like Agents of Shield but I find myself caring less and less with every recent release. Might be my age!
