The fact that Vhagar kept on lagging it when laena kept commanding Vhagar to burn her was just too sad. I felt like she was confused but even when she finally caught on she still didn’t want to but seeing her rider in so much pain made her grant laena her wish 😭🤧

Vhagar is a great example of the bond dragon and rider shares. She is sweet and caring here,almost gentle, because of her bond to Laena, but once bonded to Aemond she a ferce warrior who does what she wants much like Aemond. Very neat.
the way she died in the book is very different, she died in Daemons arms, which seems like a romantic yet tragic moment, but for me the show did it good as well, it's a very Targaryen way of dying, iconic

You absolutely could be correct that it's Daemon's entrance that makes her eyes go a little savage.

For those asking about and/or what is this. well..... It's a TV series called House of The Dragons (HOTD) that is "some what " of a prequel, of Games of Throne (GOT). Better yet let me put it a different way before the professor that look over any gaffe, cares and want to chime in, with their 2 worthless cents. They made another TV series from the book the same book, it's just from a different time line, and in this time line they're showing how and why at the time of the part Games of Throne takes place that there's only a 3 Dragons(known) left in that part of from of time period. Which I wouldn't and don't want to ruin and/or spoil the happening and events that this second season of House of Dragons is currently articulating in these few episodes since this season started, last month. So please, whenever you get an opportunity, try to get caught up by binge watching the first season, and then finally catch up with the rest of us with this season.

We are all here commenting about the bond between them but can we take a moment to acknowledge the fact that Daemon was traumatized? He lost his wife, who he married out of (some sort of) love. His daughters lost their mom. He lost a child. And the trauma caught up with him when Rhaenyra was in labor with Visenya. He wanted to help her, hold her, rock the baby with her. But he couldn’t, it would have broken him… I read somewhere that the show writers constantly want to make Daemon be the bad guy, but y’all… He is also a human. He has a heart. He wants to love and be loved. Yes, he was reckless and selfish at times. But he loves Nyra, and the kids. And he loved Viserys, regardless of everything… He was forced to marry Rhea, he was forced away from his home and family, from his true love, Rhaenyra. HE JUST NEEDS SOME EXTRA LOVE AND COMPASSION AND COMFORT 🥺
You can see his pride when he put that crown on Rhaenyra’s head. He was devastated and heartbroken by the loss of his daughter and brother. But I also think he felt the guilt of not protecting Rhaenyra and maybe even not marrying her sooner. He accepted her and he just wants to be with her and see her happy and on the throne. And if we pay attention, he did get the title ‘King’, yes, consort, but he is king. That’s what he wanted, right?
They were not just riders and their dragon were friends and seeing how he hesitates as soon as he tells it that he is setting it on fire makes you sad and want to cry 😞😢

Tragic end for Leana. But how did she manage to sneak out of the house and how is it that Daemon - a man in his physical prime - was unable to catch up to a heavily pregnant woman bent over in severe labor pain?

For those asking about and/or what is this. well.....
It's a TV series called
House of The Dragons (HOTD) that is "some what " of a prequel, of Games of Throne (GOT).
Better yet let me put it a different way before the professor that look over any gaffe, cares and want to chime in, with their 2 worthless cents.
They made another TV series from the book the same book, it's just from a different time line, and in this time line they're showing how and why at the time of the part Games of Throne takes place that there's only a 3 Dragons(known) left in that part of from of time period.
Which I wouldn't and don't want to ruin and/or spoil the happening and events that this second season of House of Dragons is currently articulating in these few episodes since this season started, last month. So please, whenever you get an opportunity, try to get caught up by binge watching the first season, and then finally catch up with the rest of us with this season.
To me, Vhagar didn’t hesitate, she waited for Laena to get upright so she’d died showing no weakness.
This scene really messed me up😪😪😪 you can see how much pain she is in and her Dragon doesnt want to kill her😪😪😪 do very sad.

We are all here commenting about the bond between them but can we take a moment to acknowledge the fact that Daemon was traumatized? He lost his wife, who he married out of (some sort of) love. His daughters lost their mom. He lost a child. And the trauma caught up with him when Rhaenyra was in labor with Visenya. He wanted to help her, hold her, rock the baby with her. But he couldn’t, it would have broken him… I read somewhere that the show writers constantly want to make Daemon be the bad guy, but y’all… He is also a human. He has a heart. He wants to love and be loved. Yes, he was reckless and selfish at times. But he loves Nyra, and the kids. And he loved Viserys, regardless of everything… He was forced to marry Rhea, he was forced away from his home and family, from his true love, Rhaenyra.
HE JUST NEEDS SOME EXTRA LOVE AND COMPASSION AND COMFORT 🥺
You can see his pride when he put that crown on Rhaenyra’s head. He was devastated and heartbroken by the loss of his daughter and brother. But I also think he felt the guilt of not protecting Rhaenyra and maybe even not marrying her sooner. He accepted her and he just wants to be with her and see her happy and on the throne. And if we pay attention, he did get the title ‘King’, yes, consort, but he is king. That’s what he wanted, right?
One of the most heartbreaking scenes ever on screen. 😢
They were not just riders and their dragon were friends and seeing how he hesitates as soon as he tells it that he is setting it on fire makes you sad and want to cry 😞😢
