Maximum a flashback or a starting episode... then Right to Aegon having a dream and waking up, speaks with his sister wifes (which after having being safed by the dreams of Daenys take Aegon's dream seriously) and they all agree they have to conquer Westeros. Fun fact: The inspiration behind "House of the Dragon" comes from an actual dynasty in real life. The dynasty was House of Drăculești and was a Romanian dynasty of Principality of Wallachia. The dynasty started with Vlad Dracul the father of more famous ruler Vlad the Impaler (Vlad Dracula, "son of the Dragon"). The family originated from House of Basarab the founders of Wallachia, in which the Principality is located in modern day Romania and currently the Capital is located in its region. The name Drăculești means Dragon as Dracul in Old Romanian language ment Dragon but now means Devil. It was generally believed that Vlad Dracul was part of the Order of the Dragon, a Christian Order ment to stop the expansion of the Ottoman Empire into Europe. But now due to a document, it mentions a certain Mihail who came to the court of Sigismund asking to become part of the order and he was Prince of Wallachia. Vlad Draculs oldest son and older brother of Vlad the Impaler whose name is Miahi was the one who founded the Dynasty of the Dragon (Drăculești). The name Drăcul-ești could be put this way, Drăcul in the sense of Dragon and ești is in Romanian and originates from Latin ēscō meaning in English "you're" which the name could be translated as "You're Dragon"

After watching Game of Thrones, everyone thought that Rhaenyra wanted to seize the throne that originally belonged to men on a whim, but her inheriting the throne was just the result of Viserys' stubborness. She had no choice in the matter as long as Viserys said so and prepared her for it, so her defending her right was the logical thing to do after the greens stabbed her in the back. Had he named Aegon in her stead, they could have had a relationship at least a bit close to the relationship Jaehaerys had with his elder sister, Rhaena, even though at times she felt wronged by being passed over in the succession. Perhaps if Viserys named Aegon his heir, then his relationship with his older sister wouldn't have been so tense, and the greens wouldn't have conspired against her.

While i wouldn't say its better than S1 of game of thrones, it comes extremely close, and is much better the the shit show that is season 6, 7, and 8 of GOT. The answer to #9 was strictly scripted for the two TV shows (GoT and HotD) to tie into one another. "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, "Fire and Blood" as well as Martin's newest publication; "The Rise of the Dragon," do not state Aegons conquest came about because of the impending threat of the white walkers. In fact, the night King doesn't even exist in AsoIaF yet, he may never for all we know. George has also spoke recently about how the ending of GoT will be different than the novels as he has made some creative decisions writing the last two novels that steer away from how the TV series concluded. While I do think it was a clever way to validate each of the shows within the GoT world, I want people to understand that it does differ from the original source material.

I always figured the Dragons and their rider like a really bonded horse to their rider. Sure you have a close bond, even sense one another, but ultimately the horse is charge and will do whatever the hell it wants if it feels like it or gets scared or angry. Seeing the Dragons like that, just confirms it and makes it more realistic imho.

It would be a bad decision to change the story. The ending of game of thrones is proof of that. They showed that jon or Dany can be the prince that was promised, on several occasions they hyped a sword fight between night king and Jon just to end with Arya jumping out of nowhere and killing the night king.

Here are my questions for you that are still unanswered. Answer if you can:
    1. Who were faceless men: humans, gods, murderers, sorcerers or something else?
    2. Why Jaqen Hghar helped Arya in Harrenhal.
    3. Who was Quaithe and what was her purpose?
    4. Who was Kinvara and what was her purpose?
    5. Why white walkers murder people and put the bodies in an specific spiral shape that looks like Targaryen sigil or the gods wood?
    6. What did Bran become after downloading all the information from three eyed raven and who infact was the three eyed raven and what role did he play in the history of weteros?
    7. How exactly the Doom of Valyria happened and what triggered it?
    8. How people of Valyria first came into contact of the dragons?
    9. Out of all the gods that were worshipped by different people all over westeros and essos which one is real : like God of fire, the drowned god, the old gods, the seven gods or if no god exists in that world?
    10. How Thoros of Myr used to make Berric alive each time after his death?

    • @Genastor
      @Genastor Před rokem +3

So, as I´m not in the matter entirely I´m not sure how precise my answers are going to be, but I´ll give it a try. If you're really interested, there are also yt videos to most of these questions.
      1. the faceless men are seemingly simply assassins who worship death, and therefore believe that only life can pay for death?
      2. Arya saved Jaqen Hghar earlier in the show and 2 other prisoners, so for saving these three lives, he offered to take 3 others.
      4. If I recall correctly, Kinvara was simply one of the priestesses sent out to preach of the lord of light.
      8. The Valyrians were known to mix species, resulting in hybrid forms, using blood magic, which is supposedly similar to today's genetic engineering. In order to create dragons, they mixed the naturally occurring wythers and wyrms (not sure if those two are spelled correctly), using said blood magic. They then proceeded to bind the valerian houses to the dragons using blood magic, resulting in them actually having dragon blood. This is also the reason why the Targaryans try to keep their bloodline as "pure" as possible, as intermarriage with non-valerian houses would "dilute" their blood, and weaken their bond to the dragons.
      9. I don't think that the situation with the gods is ever entirely explained, but each of the ancient "races" has a connection to a certain type of magic, which they, later on, refer to as their gods. The Targaryans have their fire magic, and the lord of light, the north, descending from the first men have their animal possession and the old gods etc.
