- Looking for good vibes and an intense sweat? Well, you've come to the right place!!
Today we are doing things a bit differently. Our intervals of exercise to walk will vary throughout the workout to keep you on your toes, and ready for the next exercise. This will make the workout go quicker and will challenge you in new ways both in endurance and strength.
So what I want for you to do, is promise me that you are going to give it your 110% the entire way through. Dont give up a couple seconds before the ding, and keep your head up.
Don't forget to keep breathing. This is so important when working out. Not only is breathing how you give your muscles the necessary fuel to complete the exercises, breathing out (via carbon dioxide) is one pathway for fat loss (yes it comes out as you breathe out). So, keep your breathing steady and be mindful of it. Breathing properly can make or break a workout!
This workout will challenge the entire body. We start with a 5 minute warm up, then take about 5 minutes each to work on our cardiovascular endurance, upper body, lower body, abs, and finisher (respectively).
Don't worry; I have included 2 water breaks in there for you so that we are staying hydrated and feeling our best to give it our best

From September 1st to October 28th, 81kg to 72kg. I followed this workout almost everyday 1hr after dinner. (except period)And I gave up milk tea and fried food. I'm from China, there are lots of people follow Jo's workout, it doesn't hurt knees. We call her "sister Jo", because she is so inspiring and we love her smile! Her exercises went from being extremely hard to extremely easy. Now, I have started adding weights to her exercises.

She also doesn't do that "okay guys, 5, 4, 3,, 2, 1" which makes me swear at the screen because now I'm focused on how long I have left. I wait for those beeps, and then check what's next, but otherwise I just focus on my form etc.

Did half this workout with my 1-year-old on my hip. Wasn't able to do all the moves correctly, but I did my best and pushed through! I'm not going to listen to the lies Satan tells me that I can't work out because my baby "won't let me." No more excuses for this momma!
I have two children ( 4 and 5) the oldest being autistic, both of them homeschooled and being a single mom, living in the states with no family; I've let go of my health and neglected myself for the longest. Full of excuses and poor self-esteem took me to the heaviest I've ever been. But I renounce to satan lies telling me I'm never going to be anything more than a single mom, and that this is who I am. I'm on track to a healthy lifestyle, where I am as important to my kids as they're to me and I need to take care of me as I take care of them. We're doing great Mama! Let's keep pushing! Omg Mama, my 1 year old also woke up halfway through this workout, carried her as well to do some of the moves. She loved it and I died, but hey, no pain no gain 😂 initially I was also like Ah shucks, there goes my workout, then I thought no screw it we are finishing this workout! 😤

If you're reading this, please let me assure you that it works. I do one stretching video and one 30 minute work out video between 3-5 times a week. At first I wasn't losing weight but I felt better and it reduced some of my anxiety symptoms. Feeling good allowed me to finally start working on my diet, and now I eat 1900 calories a day or less. I'm down 10 pounds in 60 days and I'm down two pant sizes. You can get healthier with Jo, no fancy equipment, no gym, literally just Jo and staying under 2000 calories

I did it! I was having a very crappy day. Cried twice, hid myself in the bathroom, slugged around the house. It's 1AM and I decided to search for Jo's videos. I wanted to feel accomplished about at least ONE thing today. 35 minutes later, I did it!!! What a great mood booster. I’m so proud of myself right now! i tend to stick with your 15/20 minute videos or dance videos but i decided to challenge myself to something a bit more intense and I FEEL AMAZING! I burnt 261 active calories and i feel like i’ve started my day on a good note. To anyone reading this please believe in yourself, I weighed 18 stone when i first started my journey and i’m now at 12 stone. KEEP SHOWING UP! start small by going for 15 minutes walks thats what i did until i started feeling fit enough to do 40 minutes of walking and then continued building up from there, trust me you can do this don’t give up on yourself:)
I an 72 and have working with you for 5 days and I'm keeping up. I have 11screws and plate in one ankle and Dr's don't know how I walk on other ankle because my talus bone is dead. I don't limp. I have 20 pds of fat I'm working on, trying to lower blood pressure. I'm also following Anthony Williams liver rescue to help. I don't like Dr's. I know what they do to people. I don't like workouts i never did it before. So i watched a video who challenged himself with Jo's video. After then i decided to watch Jo's videos and 6 days still doing with her. Her smile makes me happy. Her workouts make me strong more than before. Im so grateful that i found you. ❤
I just completed this workout and it was challenging to keep going but doable. I am currently 58yrs old and weight 193lbs and just getting back into working out. It is in my plan to do this workout 3 times a week along with another workout on CZcams for the weight resistance (I will do this 3 times a week). I will rest on Sunday and meal prep. I will keep you all posted just in case this will help someone. You can so do this workout. Make the necessary adjustments for you to be able to continue and remember to give yourself grace. :)👊

God is so good! I made it to the end of this workout (praying in the last five minutes or so for strength to push my stubborn body through it). I was 264 pounds my last weight check, which was five days ago. Before then, all the month of August, I was doing your beginner workouts. That took six inches off my belly, two inches off each arm, and one inch off each leg. Ladies, these workouts DO WORK! I feel energized right now and my mood is great. I feel far better than when I started. I wanted to give up at 8 mins. I drank some water and kept pushing through. Thank you Jo. Day 1 of week 2 back at it. 30 Mins daily!!! There's no goal for body or any weight goal anymore. Just movement and health because the rest will come.

I decided to give this workout a try at 9pm at night because it’s been 15 years of being the fat supportive friend who wants nothing but to make everyone else feel loved and beautiful in their own body, i felt like it was time to make a change.
I tried this and can honestly say that it was so much fun 😊 I got through the first 15 minutes with such ease and reach the 20 minute mark not long after! I didn’t finish but I can honestly say I am so sore and feel so hopeful 🥰 I will definitely come back after I recover!

@@anetaahona8092 I did not take a break I went all the way through 30 days. I had to do this to gain consistency and stamina. I took 3 days off after my 30 days and went to the beach to relax!
Depression has been handing me my bum on a plate just about daily. There's a lot that's spinning at the moment, but working out (especially cardio) makes me feel like I'm at least getting one thing right.

I took a break in between at different intervals but feel so accomplished having finished the workout. -It's not how fast you complete it but whether you kept going despite challenges until the end. That is what matters.

I feel like a 10 right now! These walking workouts are now the highlight of my mornings.
I’ve done this workout a couple times but last night was the first time that I felt confident enough to do the jumping exercise. I just about cried when I could do it! I’ve lost 30 pounds so far with a mix of your amazing videos and making better eating choices. Thank you for being such an inspiration and creating workouts that I can do or modify easily! Also huge shout out to Hully, she isn’t in this video but I love the videos that she is in!
I almost died doing this workout if not for the water breaks and CZcams adds 😅😅 . But I finished it . Can’t wait to do this tomorrow again little more efficiently ❤

I have seen ur videos and shorts but always felt too intimidated doing it for some reason, but my auntie talked to me about what she's going thru mentally and i suggested your videos, it's been 3 days and we do it together and even though we get too tired and make mistakes with the routines, we laugh at each other and just continue. Hi guys. I've been doing this gwj workouts for a whole month consistently. I love her. I am disappointed that I tracked my steps and it never came close to 5000 and I never stopped moving once. I will do her workouts still because I am so grateful for her videos. I believe I am becoming a new healthy person.

Her workouts are doable but deceptively simple when you look at them. I remember watching before I did her workouts. I thought,”Oh! This’ll be a nice light workout.” Um…see… I uh… what had happened was…!!! She is beast!!! And you have so much fun throughout it all! I’m 48.😉

I'm lost for words about this video and your channel. As a former teacher, I like your choreo. The routines are easy to follow and great for all levels. One could also go out their own pace.
You are so real. You look stunning like model but I saw a later video where it looks like you lost weight and got more toned . It shows that your system works and you are not one of those fake teachers who post fake before and after videos.
Furthermore , I saw a 7 day challenge post of one of your students. She did great and became more fit.. She did not lose weight but she admitted how she didn't diet. That Also shows how keep it real. You could have been like most fitness experts and not post it. I admire your full disclosure.
I have enjoyed many of your workouts but now at 66 I’m on a different mission. I need to increase my bone density and I was able to use this one as a template. I didn’t make it straight through, but I continued until it was completed and am completely exhausted and feeling good at the same time. This is definitely being put on my saved list for a weekly workout. Congratulations on your 5M mark!!!!

It took a few tries with different 5,000 step workouts, but I finally finished this one! I broke both ankles while 23 weeks pregnant and then broke my hip during birth....gained so much weight during recovery. Now baby is 18 months old and it is time for me to take my body back!! THANK YOU, I'm excited to see you again tomorrow 😍

I'm finally feeling better about my health! I was trying to do these videos without changing my diet and had a hard time completing one! I've since changed my eating habits and I've had way more energy for exercise! These videos are a great filler for when you can't make it to the gym!

Finished this about 30 minutes ago. This was excellent. I'm going for working out 3 days a week 2 days down one more to go. Thanks Jo!! Although I did not do 5000 steps. I followed the routine to T. I came out with 2700 steps. 245 calories burned.

Same here. I got 3000 + steps. Doesn't matter as I had lots of fun doing the workout... and I was really huffing and puffing away at the end of it. It was a good workout!

Hello Miss Jo. My name is Connie Salem I was fortunate enough to happen on one of your videos. I have had some health issues for the last couple of years and there’s no other way to say it I got fat. The combination of fat and old is not a good thing. After my last operation in February I was true to doing the exercises they wanted me to do from rehab. There really isn’t too much to them. Even though I wasn’t supposed to be doing certain types of things because I had two hernias again .This is the second operation. You have to wear those dog gone compression sleeves around your stomach. It was driving me crazy.Because my butt is so big and my stomach is so big it would keep sliding up and down and I’d have to reposition it and I would get more mad and So on. I’ve been doing your exercises religiously for about a month or so. I really don’t notice a difference in inches or weight yet. I’m not complaining if it’s done anything at all for me I feel that I can breathe much better. After having Covid in 2020 I never have been able to breathe the same way any longer and I can feel my breath come in much easier to me now. Not to mention the fact that you’re so uplifting. Some of the exercises I have to use a little support holding onto a dresser or something like that so I can make sure I don’t lose my balance until I get used to everything. I’m 68 years old and for an old broad I’m pretty much a jock. Let me rephrase that I used to be. My body does not cooperate with my brain anymore I look at what you’re doing and I am all for going right there with you and then my body says oh no I don’t think so lady. I was going to send in a video but to be quite honest it would be an ugly site. My underwear will not stay out of my butt. I didn’t think your viewers would wanna see an old person constantly rearranging everything during an exercise session. When I feel a little bit more comfortable with myself I will definitely get somebody to show me how to send a video for you. I was thinking, I bet there’s a lot of older folks that watch you and think they can’t do it. I thought the same thing. I started with the beginning video I think it was 23 minutes I did that for about a week and then I just switch it up I’ve done the ones that are a little over an hour and then the next day I’ll do one that’s not quite as difficult. I appreciate the fact that you have such a nice variety because a lot of these things you have to get down on the floor and do certain exercises. I am here to tell you young lady if I got down on the floor that’s exactly where I would stay. I didn’t mean to make this so long. I just wanted to thank you. I think you are truly an inspiration to young as well as older people you have a beautiful smile a wonderful attitude and I hope with all my heart that you continue to succeed. I hope you make a million kid. It’s nice to see a younger person with such an obvious work ethic. i've been working out with you since the beginning of 2021. just made a bioimpedance exam and i've lost 8kg of fat and gained 4kg of muscle since then!! i used to have a very unhealthy amount of body fat (i was "skinny fat") and i'm really happy with my progress!

I did the whole thing. i used to workout to your videos every other day, butt he past three weeks, I could barely get one or two workout sessions done. I'm so happy I finished this one today. It was just the boost I needed. I hope i'll be able to follow your workouts daily again starting today. Thanks to your videos I've gone down from BMI 35 to BMI 25, I started somewhere in June 2021. Today I did this workout and it was absolutely worth it. I didn’t feel like going for my morning run but this was absolutely worth it. And I will do it again. You’re one of the CZcams people that workout and sweat. The other you tubers at times make you feel as though you’re not doing enough but you make it fun actually.
First time doing one of your workouts and I love it! My favorite thing that it’s so easy to follow. I was able to mute the video and play my own music. I found myself dancing during the walking parts in between moves. Holy heck am I sweaty! Also, the audacity of pets just taking a nice nap on the floor next to us while we work out. My cat was laying next to me and I almost stepped on him a few times. I will definitely be doing more of your workouts!
Only been doing Jo's workouts for a week but i already am finding it fun to do her workouts. My ADHD loves how the moves are synced perfectly with the music and gives me a dopamine hit on the drops, i also love that the moves are different everytime as a lot of workouts can be repetitve and boring.
