I was holding a $50 dollar bill in the drive thru lane (my window was down) and I dropped the bill into the door as I was waiting to be waited on. Like what are the odds of that? Well when I got home I reviewed this video and pulled the panel off to retrieve my money.

Excellent video! If you are removing the door panel to replace your mirror, it's handy to wind down the window first. I forgot to do that and it made it just a little more difficult.

I’m pretty sure it’s the same thing as the brake cable on a bicycle, just pull a little slack out of it and it should damn near fall right out

The part about the door handle to cable having a release clip doesn't apply to my 2013. It's like a bicycle brake cable to handle arrangement.

This sounds dumb but what are the door like the black part made out of, is it plastic or leather ?
Do you guys sell the interior door panel, for the driver's side door? AC Delco wants like $500-600 for the panel
What if the door is closed and you can’t open it from the outside do you cut the panel open ?? How do you get door open if neither handles work an door is shut ...

When I did this now my driver door lock automatically unlocks when I try to lock my doors

Thank you for a helpful video. I'm getting ready to order a new panel to replace mine with a broken arm rest. I do have one question though: When reinstalling the panel you said to make sure all the clips line up with the corresponding holes. Do the clips have the ability to move around on the panel or are they in a fixed location. Thanks again, Bob

My new panel came with a white foam panel. In your video at 3:15 you can see it glued to the metal door frame. Do I need to pull the old foam off the door and install the new one? The old one looks fine. Again, thanks for your help.

Check Alltruck in Salt Lake City, it’s a pretty impressive parts search on their site and they ship everywhere. Otherwise just start hitting the local junkyards
Door handle cable did not come off and there was a clip on the door where all the switches go that you missed

If you have manual locks and windows can you replace them with power lock and power windows?
+trent lothringer To change out the parts would be a modification to the vehicle. You would need to rewire all the functions and get an upgrade kit for your vehicle.

drivers will not open with the handle,key fob on the inside mor outside. it is not unlocking . acording to the manual the fuse is behind the door
