Brad Delp's voice was made for Tom Scholz's music and Tom Scholz's music was made for Brad Delp's voice. A soul shattering loss these two will never play live again. Together, they were magic.
Brad's voice sounded awful good with RTZ also. RTZ was a damn good band ... took off where 3rd stage left off
Brad couldn't stand Tom
If Nostalgia was sound, then Boston's music was nostalgia. They could make you feel nostalgic for times that haven't even passed.
Wanna do it again? Yes. Come back, Brad.
If only.......
RIP Brad.We all miss you.
For sure. My heart breaks
Now this song is the most like the classic 70's Boston. It flows with no "I love yous" and synthesizer disruptions. Just a good time song, like the ones on "Don't Look Back".
Agree. I thought the rest of the album was a major disappointment, though.
There is no synthesizer in any Boston....
They only had the Hammond organs in some pieces and Effects on the guitars.
Just seeing Brad Delp & Tom Scholz in this video brought back memories of seeing them in concert back in the '80's @ the Worcester Centrum in Worcester,Mass. I had a good time watching Brad Delp play in Beetlejuice at the Town Line in Malden,Mass.Such a great person to talk to.We lost a true gentleman & we will never forget him.R.I.P. Brad Delp.
Ever since I first heard this song I’d always thought it would be the perfect song to end the show with
2:17 - And then that beautiful smile. I miss just knowing he was with us.
Brad was sooooo beautiful!!!
If I could go back in time I would tell Tom Scholz to make "Third Stage" the last of a trilogy and re-name it "Home At Last" using the same artwork as "Walk On" with the following songs in order:
1. We're Ready
2. The Launch (Instrumental)
3. Cool The Engines
4. Amanda
5. Walkin' at Night (Instrumental)
6. Walk On
7. Hollyann
8. Higher Power (Kalodner edit)
9. I Had A Good Time
10. We Can Make It
This would had made the Boston albums a trilogy with "Boston" being the beginning of the journey with the exploding Earth, "Don't Look Back" searching for a home, and "Home At Last" ending the journey with the finding of a new world. .
that would be cool
Interesting.
And Tell Me somewhere in there too...it's very musically similar to Amanda, but has a different enough vibe.
I saw Brad sing in 2003 in Seattle, it sounded like he had lost his vocal chords and i could hardly hear his voice i was so used to, i knew things were ending
I could barely hear brad
Why is it so hard to hear anybody at times in this concert?
BRAVO BOSTON
Sorry but shes one of the hottest bass players ever
I gave her a rose when they were in st louis
During "you gave up on love " brad gave me the "wait a minute" signal, which i count as a privilege he noticed me
Then when the song was over i gave it to her
True
Sorry, the man of pink guitar is Barry Goudreau? or who is?
Pretty sure that is Anthony Cosmo. Barry was loooong gone from Boston by now, sadly.
That would be Fran Cosmo. His son Anton is in the background with a green guitar.
Can barely hear him .
Its really not needed all 6 guitars
Sound sucks!
Sorry, low battery in the camera mic
Kimberly Dahme is so hot
