Brad Delp can never be replaced. He is one of a kind for his singing all the songs of Boston and I love Boston the old time sound.
Watched them preform back in 1995. Arrived early to beat the crowd , saw this guy sitting on the edge of the stage with a few people around in front of him. Thought to myself "Any band members autograph would be great" ! Got down there and found it was Brad just sitting and chatting with the fans ! what an experience ! Cool guy . Signed my ticket stub most graciously. I've been a Boston fan since high school 1979 , So I hated to hear when he passed ! Miss him being here ! Peace be with you Brad
Brad Delp had a magical voice. RIP, BRAD.
If anyone dislikes this song, they should be sent to jail.
Lol I agree!😆😂❤
I've played this album more than any album of music I have ever bought. It is that good.
ive been playing it on repeat for the past week. it doesnt get old. timeless classic.
It is that good!
Can't forget about you since you've been gone, Brad.
Brad....we DID NOT forget about you after you've been gone! You were one of the best singers in the history of rock!! Rest in peace!
Amen!
One of the world greatest Rock and Roll Band.
Definitely one of rocks greatest albums of all time.... Without any doubt....
Oh Brad, nobody can replace you! 😧
My favorite Boston song. A true classic.
2022 and I was born in1982. Found Boston for real in 2018. Man have I missed something amazing....
Brad Delp, RIP, was the soul of Boston, Tom Schulz, the heart. Their genius and passion for incredibly fabulous rock and roll that channeled life and livingness and having fun in it is what made them rock heroes of the 70's. They along with Jethro Tull, the Moody Blues, Grand Funk, and Paul Rogers of Free and Bad Company, defined the 70's rock era. Music tells a story and these guys were the best.
Brad, you had a voice made in heaven, and the gift never left you. What a tragic loss the music world took when we lost you...RIP. NO ONE WILL EVER SING AS HIGH AND MIGHTY AS YOU.
There was something about you Brad that was meant to be treasured you gave us everything you could 1:26
Bradley Delp was such a great singer I still can't believe he is dead...
Amazing performance by this band Boston.....The song is historic and so is the drummer.....
There once was a genre in music that dominated FM radio called "good-time rock n' roll" and this band was THE legendary favorite of everyone I knew. Excellent musicianship, the absolute best guitar riffs, wholesome lyrics and rich, multi-layered harmonies that are almost impossible to achieve in a live performance. I ask you... what the hell more can you ask for?!
These songs get keep getting better as they get older. What is life all about?
Brad was having fun!👍❤🙏😇
It’s really a shame there really isn’t a good quality sound/mix of Boston for one of their live performances with Brad. Really amazing considering what a tech giant Tom is. Such a great band, one of the greatest rock albums of all time
Good Post! Boston is like fine wine, just get's better with time.
Wow!! Rare footage of one of the most underrated, but complete bands in music history. Rock on Brad!!
Could never forget Brad Delp!!
best song ever
One of my favorite bands for sure. I was two years old when this song came out.
Yes! NH!!!
Man...Brad only got better live after all those years...it was amazing
This is awesome keys, love the intro! This band sets the bar for how to rock!
Nobody can sing like Brad, but this guy's way better than I could ever sing Boston. Tom's spot on as usual.
This IS Brad Delp, not Tommy DiCarlo.
Brad, no I will not forget you after you've been gone
His voice only got more and more haunting with age
Good grief. This is great!
I like this music
YOU CANT- there wasn't ever a 'Debut- first album' like this one.! AWESOME ! ♦
Love the extended keyboard into...
Amazing as always! Loved that Bass player too!!
Brad, you're missed.
That was the song Brad enjoy to sing the most, he said in an interview. Is sad that depression is a mortal illness!
gracias por subir estos videos
this is the best rock n roll ever................and i saw zeppelin in '69
Naw, they had no idea they were being recorded, We provided Imag service. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Muita musicalidade.fico arrepiado quando ouço esse som
Brad Delp was on of the most AMAZING F*****G singers of all time!❤️❤️❤️
yea too true ,RIP Brad
tom scholz is awesome he grouped together a kick ass group in the 70s and as skynyrds anthem is freebird bostons is more than a feeling that song always gives me chills oh yeah the lady on bass nice bass nice ass.
Thank you
Tom Scholz created the perfect band, and continued to create...even as far as building their own amps! This man has more talent in his little finger than most have in their entire families! Just saying, give him the credit he so richly deserves. He IS Boston.....always.
peter frampton comes alive 1976 every track on the album was great not a debut album but it jump started his career again..
The first Santana Album, 1968, no question.
Brad and Tom were ALL that and a bag of chips.
Great video BTW...
His Beatlejuice band was awesome too.
HERMOSO!!!!!
🖤WOW🖤AMAZING JOB GUYS🖤🥀👍🤘🎸
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
I was going to ask who the lovely young woman was, but I think you just answered it. Wow! She is young, but has wonderful taste in music and is a fine musician! :))
The great stallion of rock does his thang!
There is still radio channels with that kind of music.
Damn. As much as I love them & I absolutely adore Brad...his body language is off. He seems uncomfortable...like he wants to be having fun & he's trying to..but it's just not happening. Now that voice NEVER falters..EVER! But maybe his heart wasn't in it anymore(?) I'm talking outta school of course..but something was already different (in moi opinion)💔😪 ...& I recall hearing him say this was his fave song to perform
Boston set their type of rock music in stone but at that time their were other bands carving their own out of a diffrent type of rock.
I bought this album in the 70s, and never played it. Why? Because all the songs were in heavy rotation on the AOR radio station--the music was on the air all the flippin' time!
This is very well filmed, poster, if you're the one who filmed it.
This is amazing... Absolutely amazing. And, by the way, The answer is... A female bassist. The question is... What's the sexiest freakin' thing in the world!?...
sounds Gospel to me ! well spoken.
Santana's debut was the "Evil Ways' album 1968, Abraxas came years later, but another debut band that comes to mind is Steely Dan's first album with all winning tracks also 1972. just fyi.
saskatchawan
Tom Scholz created Boston but Bradley gave it life. He sounded and looked really good here.
"Chicago Transit Authority", the first double LP of Chicago
THE WHO- WHO'S NEXT. But as far as a debut album goes, no... I can't think of another album like Boston's debut. Tom Scholz is a genius
Wow, this is great! What's the background on this video? Was it used for anything beyond Boston's use?
Interesting to see organ case made from acrylic glass
Harmony. sweet
A nice live solid f5 slide and then actually hitting that f5 scream with absolutely no bullshit, like starting at a lower note and going up, not using some foreign head voice
Brad Delp!
5:12 major bummer...
muzaklover78 XD wow
70s in Miami north Miami Columbian gold and Miller 🍺
Deep Purple - Machine Head
Keyboardist allowed himself plenty of impro time on this one, you can tell the band wasn't always picking up on cue, gotta love that... when you're in keyboard dominated band. Ask David Gilmour about Rick Wright's 'surprises' lol
Not improv, just the song "Foreplay". Typically, the keyboardist (Tom Scholz, who plays the guitar parts on the studio version and on most songs live) was too much of a perfectionist to offer any surprises live; it was, in fact, the surprises which threw him off a lot in live performances.
It is not my opinion, it is facts: that album sold 20 millions of copies and had 7 singles out of it.It is not just me remembering it, check out the article on wikipedia.
I don't give a rats ass about Def Leppard's Hysteria album as far as I'm concerned it couldn't hold a candle to Boston's first album & that is a fact... I don't give a crap about how many units it sold...
Why is there no live footage of them from like 1978-1990? I can only find this one concert from the giants stadium?
great stuff eh..
That bass players a babe. She makes me feel kinda funny, like when we would climb the rope in gym class. Lol
THE FIRST OF THE DOORS
How about a debut album with all hits and was recorded by one guy
playing almost all of the instruments and recording it in his own studio instead of the record company's?
fleetwood mac .. rumours
moving pictures by rush :p
Brad why did you leave us?
3 years later he took his own life. Sad.
What's that clicking noise?
