It's nice to have someone who has information on things we need for the first time owners so it's not really rambling!!!!!

Would of gladly let you borrow mine if I was close. I ordered OTC brand have had great luck out of it. I replaced my front bearings as one side was pitted and neglected. I did both sides on the front and rears were in great condition so i cleaned and repacked.i completely removed all military grease on all 6 and packed nearly 5 gallon bucket of red lithium back in the hubs and bearings as you showed us in earlier video.I ordered Timken online at a great price. But during covid you could only get what you can find. Thank you for all of your detailed videos!!!

Wow! F700 hubs that's awesome! Can't wait for that video!!! All 6 would be nice but I think just getting them on front will make a big difference. Hope to do mine one day but obviously front gets it 1st.

I'm curious about what I'll run into on mine when I start taking it apart. It sucks the unexpected shit that you run into especially when pressed for time.

When it comes to these trucks, they are only reliable as their weakest link. I had this happen on a large finish mower for my tractor. Chinese bearings. Replaced with Timken. Problem solved. Penny wise, pound foolish will "get you" on heavy equipment.

Im going to buy a m35a2 this weekend. The gentlemen that is selling it says that it needs brake work. He says the master cylinder is empty. Can i just add some brake fuild to get some brakes just to get it home?

That's very risky. I'd tow it if I could.

@tacticalrepair Thanks for the reply. We actually picked it up yesterday. I found your video on bleeding the brakes. It work like a charm and we had brakes driving it home. I found a leaking wheel cylinder in the front of the truck along with 2 blown out front axle boots. Trucks runs great 👍

@tacticalrepair one more question, i have to put a license plate light on the truck. I have the placement and the mounting done. Unfortunately all I can find are 12v bulbs. Any suggestions? Or do I need a 24v period?

@@GUARDIAN6B look for an LED bulb for it. Should be able to find a 24v compatible one.
