- Welcome back for another Game of Thrones Season 8 Crypts of Winterfell Teaser Trailer Breakdown video. I recently made a video about the Crypts of Winterfell Teaser for the final season of Game of Thrones, but today I want to dive a little deeper into the hidden meaning behind that trailer. What is the Night King's connection to House Stark, and their Crypts beneath Winterfell? What is the Night King's true identity? What secrets are hiding in the Crypts of Winterfell? What does the Night King want? What happened to the Night's King and Night's Queen's bodies? Who are the original Kings of Winter? Why do the Starks put iron longswords across the laps of each statue? These are some of the questions I want to discuss today. Let me know your thoughts and opinions. Thanks for watching the video!

seems some are forgetting Jon is a Stark too lol. Sure he would have been born with the Targaryen name but.. He has just as much Stark blood in him as any other Stark child.
Maybe the Y-chromosome given to Jon from his targaryen father, Rhaegar Targaryen, changed that for him lol, RIP Lyanna Stark. (Dude's mother.)
LogiKussion to an extent. Joeffry thought he was a Baratheon yet he was proud to be a Lannister as well
Maybe his mother was not really a Stark at all?
mamaboo cee no
Not that any of this matters because the show is over. But the books aren’t and the prequels are coming. But it doesn’t matter that Jon has Stark blood. As Ned said Jon has his Stark blood but not his name. He would need both to protect Winterfell from Winter and kill the NK. Having both is a part of the magic protecting Winterfell from Winter and ensuring whatever sinister is buried there stays there. Thats why Bran couldn’t do it. He’s not a Stark anymore. He was the bait that brought winter. He is evil however. It was one evil king vs another back in season 8. That’s why only Arya could kill the NK. When a Stark leaves Winterfell. Bad things happen. If the story continues, Sansa is screwed.
This is some seriously impressive detective work. If youtube isn't paying the bills you should go be a private eye!!!
Thank u!
@Talking Thones Do you think that the throne of all the 7 kingdoms being actually made out of iron symbolizes a stark would never rule the all 7 kingdoms? After watching video, it seems immortality at some point is in the stark bloodline?
@@TalkingThrones What do you think of these 2 thoughts. Is Howland Reed the faceless man? What if Bran Stark from the book went back in time and changed certain events creating TV series version which is why things are different maybe? I would love to know your take on that 😎
@@TalkingThrones What if they need the weirwood arrows and slap some dragon glass on those to defeat the night king or they get a hint from Sam/bran that something important might be down there and find them by accident? I enjoy your thoughts on these things 👍
@@TalkingThrones so the Iron throne is meant to ensure that the night king will never rule the seven kingdoms.

@@briandeluca4318 I know that but you have to separate the 2
Not this, the show was ridiculous
No, IMO, it's the other way around. It makes the ending of the show more ridiculous. The show could have used half of these theories as they are based in actual book information and would have been a better ending.
Exactly the other way around lol
It is interesting that the original 3 eyed raven kept wanting Bran to go down into the crypts.
That's because one of the answers to the "end game" is down there.

Let’s see what Val will say...
The fact that the uncle was part turned into a walker could also be a clue. Maybe a Stark can not be fully changed so they become walkers but with their own minds.
Maybe some of the Starks can control them and they must obey hahahaha. Sansa - "Go and eat Cercei's brain!" - "Braaaaains." That would be epic. :D :D
@@kkarx Awesome! I had just typed "The old Starks MIGHT actually be on Jon's side, however! Which Terminator do you trust??"

@@johnnyjumper5936 I tend to not take explanations given by the show itself too seriously. Though show has become very simplified.
@@johnnyjumper5936 tbh the children of the forest always had trouble controlling the white walkers. They grew stronger then the children of the forest. So maybe they thought they stopped it but something else stopped it
I find it amazing to think that GOT could well possibly have lasted another 10 years had the crew and producers and GRRM been willing.
GRRM wanted 10 seasons and producers would've been also up for it but asking actors to dedicate way over 10 years of their lives for the project wasn't feasible apparently.
Its nearly been 10 years
well maybe we will see prequel some day... like between everything or hwo the 1st man began or the first long night etc...
then u have essos which has so many different things it would be even more interested to see

What if Game of Thrones is actually a love story, and the Night Queen is locked under Winterfell and the Nights King only purpose is going south to rescue his loved one?
I thought about that too.
Disgusting
The Night King and the Night's King are different characters. As mentioned here, the Night's King was a Stark who was slain by his brother, the Stark of Winterfell.
This is so cute
Technically the night’s queen is a stark, by marriage with the Night’s King, so it makes sense she is there with the rest of the dead starks

Also Talking Thones: "A woman was his downfall"

Datruthshines Nope! Anyone With Targaryen blood would be hunted down !
She was supposed to marry Robert. She couldn't, remember what happened when ole Robb betrayed his vows. Lots of dead Starks.
Robert Baratheon defeaded the Targaryen with the help of house Stark... imagine Robert knowing Jon snow is a Targaryen. It can be considered treason for the mother and will lead to conflict with the two families... jon snow is the reason it’s called a song of ice and fire

Let's keep everything aside. What I am excited for is if Night King says something or talks.
That is something which would give everyone chills.
Will he tho? He can forever be silent and still be a great antagonist
Producers said he will never speak. In fact he is portrayed by a stunt man.

Have you ever noticed that the fur on the dire wolf on the Stark sigil looks like dragon scales and not fur?
@random person I wonder in this last season if Jon's dire wolf will get to meet Daenerys' dragon
It looks like fur. It is just the artistic style of the sigils.
Leoji67 that would be dope because ghost s a gift from the old gods, white fire red eyes like the weir wood trees. I don’t think this is realistic but maybe the dragons will recognize ghost is a gift from the gods and maybe bow to him or something
I think they look like armor signifying the Starks readiness for war

Jon passes out. He wakes up on a horse drawn wagon. "Hey, you, you're finally awake..."
You got us again Todd.
If you go back and look at all the interactions between jon n the NK , the way the NK looks at jon is like he knows him , recognize who he is.
Exactly...
Jon may have been raised by the NK not Melisandrei. That's how the NK always knows where Jon is gonna be like at the frozen lake. I believe this was foreshadowed when Jon took his vows at the Weirwood tree and ghost found the hand of a dead Nights watch brother. They brought the 2 dead brothers back and Mormont said to bring them inside so Maester Aemon could examine them. Well that night one of them raised from the dead and tried to attack Mormont but Jon and Ghost saved him. Some one raised the dead nights watch brother from the dead. Only the NK can do that.
LongNights W/HotPie Hadn’t thought about that, but it’s a cool observation! At least as demonstrated on the show, the dead only rise as wights in the presence of the Night King. That said, Jon’s resurrection is profoundly different. He comes back “whole” like Beric, not as a mindless zombie under the will of the NK.
@@jamesbarlow6725 Amazing👍🏽. I always wondered why the other wight didn't rise.
@@samhitavuddagiri8824 No, Shireen died after Jon was resurrected.

He would’ve been freed with the rest of the dead in the crypt so that’s a no
@@donishanwar6385 no he was talking about both but using examples from the book. @@donishanwar6385 that the night king is buried in the cypts ? Lmao good lord ok
@@donishanwar6385 Well the night's king was said to be a Stark and I'm pretty sure it's only ever said he was brought down not killed, brought down to the crypts perhaps lol but thats that's not the original king of the others from the long night unless he was reborn as the night's king either way there's some important connection with the crypts, the Starks and the others so I'm with you, its fascinating and book wise can't be ruled out yet
Honestly I could spend days binging on these videos. And that’s actually what I’m doing this week 😂🖤 thank youuuu

"The realm, do you know what the realm is? its the thousand blades of Agon's enemies, a story we agreed to tell each other over... and over, till we forget that its a lie"
I've memorized it from ur videos, best intro ever, and it made me think, what does he mean by lie, is it really a lie?
I memorized it the first time i watched the show in 2016
@Zoe Kouf no no, he said the lie was the thousand blades, the iron throne, the whole conquest, I remember another scene where he says there's not even two hundred, so my question still stands, was it a lie, made up by the targaryens
+@@animedrawings07 The whole very Targaryen conquest of Westeros could be a lie in the sense that it was not by dint of Aegon (Aegon i Targaryen) 's merit/mettle that he conquered the continent (minus Dorne) but there were bigger players aiding him. The Red God could have intentionally done it. When the Valyrians miraculously hatched dragon eggs, 4700 years before Aegon's Landing, even that was some higher being helping them instead of those Valyrians' own accomplishment.
Essa frase...
You mentioned The Night King being Winter. So Winterfell is the place where Winter fell... the place where the old Night King fell and was buried and kept inside the cryps?
Also, everyone mentions the secret tunnels beneath Winterfell and that they lead through the cryps. What if the teaser shows the Night King and or White Walkers entering Winterfell through this tunnels? They might know them as well, especially if the Night King is a Stark as you said.
Daemonenkoenigin13 What if the old Night king was just called Winter Stark ?
@@timothypiper5793 possible xd

The cripts of winterfell are bound by the same magic used on the wall.
Family reunion!! lol
I sometimes think those stories of yours are more exciting along with anticipation to finally reveal the truth than watching the series itself.
thats a sign of you might be delusional
Another thing that supports some of your theories is Jon's uncle. He became white and cold as snow in death. The only Stark not to be buried in the crypt with the iron. Great stuff!
There is even the iron throne. Made from iron to ensure that only a human king can sit it. Thereby proving his alliance.
Why would the Targaryans from esteros care about westerosi myths enough to be the first to build an iron throne? just saying, it's likely coincidental.
The iron throne is just about 300 years old... while the white walkers are at least 1000 years old, so I don't think the iron throne has anything to do with the white walkers hating iron.
Shouldn't it be valrian/ iron throne really?
Several people keep mentioning the wights not liking Iron but there is nothing about that in the show... They can, however, kill them with Valyrian steel ("Jon's" sword).
The iron throne isn't Valyrian steel so it's not like that at all.
Iron Throne is made up of swords from the defeated enemies of Aegon the Conqueror. So I think, the swords are also made of other materials not just iron.
I wish I could up-vote this 100 times.
I think the Stark's forgot their origins. The North Remembers? I think maybe they forgot? Some irony in that I think. It would be amazing if GRRM would be able to write about the past. I think it could be even more interesting than the amazing books he has already written.
I am not typically a fantasy fan but this whole body of work has grabbed me by the heart and tore it out to forge a new one.
I love your channel, you are one of the few who is almost as entertaining as the show itself. (almost)
Thank you for getting us through this dry spell! You're doing an amazing job!
When duel between Night King and jon, he said: i'm your father
I noticed that when Bran is at the Tower of Joy he calls out for his father and young Ned turns around because he heard Bran...... but when Bran goes back to the tower a second time, he doesn’t call his father..., but Ned still turns around.... that’s a sign that Bran can go back into the past and he can manipulate what will happen... I’m intrigued..... and I’m dying to find out what’s going to happen
I noticed that point too. Made a big deal of it at the time lmao 😂
well that's how he brain damaged hodor when he was a kid
Okay, so, this isn't 100% related to this video but I had a thought when I was watching a discussion you were having with GrayArea about the crypts and the roots of the weirwood possibly reaching down into the crypts. "There must always be a Stark in Winterfell." What if Bran fulfills this prophecy by integrating himself into the roots of the weirwood in the crypts, like Bloodraven? Then there would ALWAYS be a Stark in Winterfell, and it might solidify whatever magic is tied to that concept. I hope you like that theory, I thought it was a pretty cool idea!
But... he's the three-eyed raven now
@@Mmarie1234561 That doesn't nullify the magic of his blood, he's still a Stark
@@LuxanderReal I was referring to a meme since he keeps saying he's the three-eyed raven...repeatedly...and that he no longer is bran
YES! And that could also some how relate to the faces in the weirwood trees?! Maybe??
And what if he 'goes back' and is actually brandon the builder himself, who created the wall in the first place?
Hmm never thought of this while watching the series, but in Slavic (or at least in Serbian, not 100% sure) mythology, wolves are considered guardians of link between sunrise and sunset, between our world and otherworld, they are connection between you and your ancestors, what better animal to keep your ancestors secrets than wolf? Now I believe that we might probably find out intentions of White Walkers inside the crypts, with a little help from Ghost :D.
Maybe thats why there must always be Stark in Winterfell, otherwise some mayor endgame stuff will get leaked or run away outside.
It's not just Serbian, we have that myth too (Slovenia).
@@barbaravenek610 Sweet
Bro this is so good honestly you and people like you make the series so much better
This is 100% my favorite Game of Thrones Endgame Theory. Initially, I thought that it would only play out in the books, but the fact that the most recent teaser was set in the crypts has me geeking out!
Also, being a bit nit-picky here, but I don't think that the Ironwood gates to the crypts are made out of Iron. Ironwood is a type of tree, so I think it's more likely made out of wood. BUT, if the Others take issue with Iron and some type of wood had to be chosen to seal the crypts, may as well make it Ironwood. You can never be too safe.
Makes you wonder with either iron or wood, do they make new doors or swords every hundred years or so at first to keep the "ghosts" in, and they just quit doing it over time because they forgot why they did that.
Ironwood has a significantly high ferrous content, ferrous being iron, hence its name. It is also as dense in structure as teak, but as we don't know what else is available on Westeros and ironwood is more populace here on earth than teak maybe that's why it was selected??
C
Blood has iron, blood is sacrificed to the weirwoids...
Ironwood is important to the plot of the Telltale game and House Forrester too.
Even if none of your theories are true. It has kept me entertained for 2 long years.
THANKS A LOT TT
Between your channel and The Gray Area, my mind is constantly blown! I’m currently rewatching and re-reading the entire series and watching every video I can in preparation for the final season. Thank you for all the amazing content!
I think the connection to the Starks and Night King is that he was a Stark before he was turned. That is why the 3 eyed raven wanted Bran to go down in the crypts so bad. It is what he wanted Bran to discover.
maybe they will see an open grave that is in the deepest crypt with the face of the Night king
makes sense, but much less dramatic.
They dropped that storyline like a hot potato.
Isn't there something in the books that the reason why there is a hot spring at Winterfell which heats up some of the rooms is that some people believe that a dragon is asleep underneath Winterfell? Didn't Bran in the books have a vision of a dragon arising out of Winterfell? Imagine a stone dragon awakening underneath Winterfell and coming out during the battle? Is that the secret underneath Winterfell possibly?
Hi, In the books it was summer who saw it. "The smoke and ash clouded his eyes, and in the sky he saw a great winged snake, who's roar was a river of fire. He bared his teeth but then the snake was gone". There's a story that Jacaerys Velaryen flew Vermax to winterfell to negotiate with Cregan STark. A boy named mushroom claimed that Vermax laid a clutch of eggs at winterfell while he was there.
A Catelyn chapter explains that Winterfell was built over a hot spring which keeps the castle warm in winter.
So why is it always cold in the crypts?!? It seems like if you went deeper into the crypts it should get progressively warmer as you move closer to the hot springs. Unless perhaps someone who brings the cold is down there, like the NQ!
@@Jockeylotforfun I was thinking the same thing..... either it will be dragon eggs, or a live dragon(s).
"Waking Dragons from Stone"- Im almost positive GRRM in his clever ways is referring to Dragonglass and Valyrian steel being rediscovered. Danaerys and what you mentioned are what I think are just red herrings to mislead readers.
Maybe the Dragon is Jon?

I've always felt the crypts would be important to the end of the books, but I was beginning to think the show wouldn't go there. I hope one of the Starks blows the Horn of Winter that Sam has been toting around and wakes the Kings of Winter to defeat the Night King. Great video TT
Night King is a Stark 👍

You're giving D&D way too much credit.. They are not that smart. My conclusion after episode 3...
Yeah...So many opportunities wasted in the show.
I agree for the most part, but most of those varys speaking with little finger scenes were not in the book and pure creations by D&D. They just stopped caring at the end and that's the real problem. When they cared they made great content. But they themselves said they mainly wanted to adapt the books to bring the Red Wedding to life. After that they could care less, job done.

Back when Bran was hiding in the crypts of Winterfell from Theon, he had Hodor take one of those swords on the lap of one the former Lords or Kings of Winterfell since he needed a weapon before they left to head north. Based upon what you said in this video, it appears as though Bran was too young at that time to understand the consequences of that action. In addition, did you notice that Bran is absent from that GoT scene? Perhaps, when the last Night King "placed his mark" on Bran he also marked him as his successor when he dies!!!
This was so detailed and in-depth. Awesome 👏🏽
Im back watching your videos again!!! Cant wait for season 8, the same hype that i had for season 7
Nice! Welcome back.
One thing I recently noticed in rewatching seasone one episode 10 is that Bran and the wildling woman, Osha, have a scene regarding the crypts of Winterfell. She is carrying Bran in the courtyard and is afraid to go down in the crypts. Bran is puzzled as to why she would be afraid to go down into the crypts when she has lived north of the wall and even seen white walkers. They go down and find Bran's little brother, Rickon, playing in the dark with shaggy dog. He says he saw Ed, their father, down there. This is of course foreshadowing of the news they will soon learn that their father is dead. However, it does lend credibility that there is something ominous down there except for Bran's little brother just playing down there. If the Night's Queen or another Night's King is down there, Rickon either doesnt have the right bloodline or whatever is down there really doesn't want children. Bran gives the impression he has been down there dozens of times before his fall. Osha being scared to go down there is interesting. Why would a hole in the ground scare Osha?
Deaf = dead
This is really interesting, hope we get the answers in coming episodes
Also notice from this scene that when they leave the crypt they take a few iron swords with them 😉 I think jon an arya will be fighting a few ancestors to get out of that crypt possible sansa's death down there, don't see her having a role outside of winterfell 🤯

So to recap, Starks have been imprisoning Night Kings(starks) in crypts and now the current Night King is coming for them, and most of the names of those involved in that were Brandon so we also have Brandon Stark who is conveniently tagged by NK
Boom!
🤯 Okay so if it is that Bran has been venturing back in time over and over trying to correct this mistake, failing to stop it, and imprisoning the Night King (each recreation of himself), then he needs help to end this vicious cycle (The SON of Ice & Fire, Jon - the magic in his blood), which will also end “The Long Night”, bringing nature back in balance and essentially ending magic in Westeros.
Yo imagine if that "mark" from NK on Bran spreads like a gray skale and he gets infected and become a NK...
@@anakalianaac9290 sounds lile Donnie darko. Tangent universe, pun of geound hog day, on a bigger scale
Not sure about show, but God's Eye also plays somehow.
I dont think they put Kings of Winter down there with the idea of strengthening the WW invasion.
Also important to keep show NK separate from book NK .... book NK doesnt seem like he was Leader of the WW... not even sure he was fully transformed... just a rogue actor who was turned to serve interests of WWs for 13 years. What does it mean that the Watch was bent to his will and then freed? Wights? Maybe, but leaves door open for something else... and mentions of 'dark magic'.
Also only WW woman we hear about ? Why ? Why are only sons sacrificed ?
Book NK's sacrifices would have added new blood (per se) to WW ranks in a period when they were close to extinction and licking wounds after defeat?
But implies, again, he was their tool - a manchurian candidate - not their leader.
Whereas show NK is clearly leader, and implied original bamf.
That’s why it’s most interesting to the story about these two houses with magical elements to them starks targaryens
The magic will be electric ⚡️

You mean water. Fire and ice makes water haha
Jeffrey Samson ain’t you funny 👏👏👏👏👏👏
@@markpjf85 no it's kind of serious. There's even a theory stating this. When fire and ice battles out another force would awaken or something.
I think it has something to do with the greyjoys and their drowned god.
It's not krakens . But actually a sea dragon. Possibly a child or children of naga. Naga is the sea dragon that the drowned god defeated and made the sea stone throne with in the iron islands.
In terms of magic. Do you believe that the dead kings will rise alongside the living ? As a last defence left by Brandon the builder? Or just normal wights

Well done, nicely thought out. Each proposal is well supported.
Excellent breakdown for us non-book readers. Deepens the viewing experience immensely! I love the “iron spirit prison” stuff SO much. Now, a REQUEST!
I’ve posted something similar before, but I wanted to ask again because I think it’d be a fun exploration for fans across both media and get wheels turning on the potential impact for the final season: the Children of the Forest.
Would you consider doing an abridged book history/season 8 theory video on the Children of the Forest? Pretty please? It’s a burning topic for me as a non-book reader for a few reasons. First, they’re the ones responsible for creating the original Night King. Second, their alignment is highly ambiguous in the show. Third, other than a critical flashback and a few sparse scenes involving Bran and his crew when encountering the Three-Eyed Raven, we see frustratingly little of a group that clearly had/has tremendous power and influence in this world.
Some questions I selfishly would love to hear your responses to:
1) What’s the broad summary of the CotF origins and history in Westeros?
2) Were their motives in creating the NK purely for self-preservation, or is there a more complex endgame?
3) Did they know how catastrophic the NK would be for Westeros, or is this an unexpected series of events unfolding?
4) What is their historical relationship with groups beyond the First Men, like the Starks, the Targaryens, the Borathians and so on? Do they have any ties/allegiances presently?
5) And lastly, what are your predictions for their role, if any, in the final season? Personally, I’ll be disappointed if this entire plot thread is left dangling. The CotF feel as organic to the foundations of this world as any group, myth or worshipped deity in this whole incredibly deep world, and I have a strong desire to see them tip the scales in an unexpected way before it’s all over.
I know I could wiki the hell out of this on my own, but your videos are way more fun! 😝
Thanks, TT!
Watching this 3 years after it was posted makes me so sad and angry of where this story could;dve gone and how much was left out. it's such a shame.

ICE, EYES, BABY, dedumdededumdedudum
sommergarten 🤣
VINILA! oh wait. did m&m predict GOT?
Well, they surely are pretty much Under Pressure right now...
Go home, you're drunk! 😂😂😂
Love this channel.... you have such good insight!
It seems to me that if your enemy is a zombie that turns the dead into his unstoppable army, you would embrace cremation as a funeral right.
😂😂😂
I have said that so much . thank you
.....unless you are descended from relatives of said zombie.
I had heard that the tens of 1000s of dead Starks are waiting to be a woken up to fight the night Kings army or protect Westeros. They cant do this if they were cremated.
I am curious about the broken horn & what it is supposed to do. Could this horn be the one that Sam found buried with the dragon glass north of the wall, that didnt make a sound when Jon blew it, hence they thought it was broken? Perhaps it isnt broken, just cant be heard by the living? Why was it buried along with 1 of the things that can kill the night walkers? Yes sorry, more questions! LOL
@@MsSquirl00 maybe it is not meant for a Stark to use at all.... Starks are closely bonded to the dire wolves, direwolves dont have horns. The wall was built through a combined effort of Starks (as kings of winter), and the Children of the Forest (as top of the humanoid species tier chart). The Children have a connection with mammoths (they were used to build the wall) which have tusks. A Tusk could be hallowed out and made into a horn. So if it took cooperation and compromise to build the wall, maybe there also has to be cooperation and compromise to bring it down. If it is the actual horn of winter a good plan would be for man to possess the horn but it can only be used by one of the Children, keeping both sides from being able to bring down Westeros' version of the Korean DMZ and attack the other side unprovoked. 🤷♀️🤓 lol
The knight king will be one of the first stark kings and John will find a statue of him
OMG!! I am floored!! Great Video!! Answers a lot of my questions.
Awesome video! Very well done, and thought provoking.
Interesting the way u say dead Kings rising the whole thing reminds me of Lord of the rings where aragorn goes the the valley of the Kings and get the undead army to fight the armies of mordor
Don't get me wrong. I can't imagine myself really being unhappy about anything for season 8. But dear Lord I do not want to see this happen! I think because it would be so LOTR. I just hope whatever happens it's even somewhat original......
I watch a couple GoT channels but yours is by far the best
Wow! Thank you
Dito you are great
Superb work!...enjoyed that commentary as it all fell into place for me & I am really looking forward to the next series of GOT
Oooooohoohoohoohoooooo...that was good! Thanks for sharing your research with us and for a great video! Can't wait for the season to begin!
*incorrect* An ironwood door is not made from iron, ironwood is a type of very hard slow growing wood
Exactly! I came here to say this.
That's also the door Hodor is gona hold as I think he is still alive in fact he is most definitely alive
Not certain, but an old timer told me ironwood is also called hornbeam
@@seekernotlost3815 HORN 🎷 beam. Interesting. Hmmm
Was going to say the same. AKA Lignum Vitae
Thank you for entertaining us with your amazing detective work for the past 1 year. You kept the spirit of GOT alive. They must make you the official brand ambassador of this show😊👍
My pleasure! Thank you for sticking around and holding the channel down!
i remember when this guy used to share his theories and videos on the FB GoT page.. you've came a long way dude. nice video and a strong theory
I loved it! It all makes sense to me. Thanks for posting
What if Azor Ahai is in the crypts of Winterfell? Sleeping for thousands of years like the night king was.
I feel like the statues are set up to keep the dead from being raised and only a Stark being in Winterfell can hold the magic together.
Thanks you for such informative videos !
Man you are something else...GREAT CONTENT
statues coming to life --> I think the stone men might be related, as well as the doom of Valeria. the stonemen are living statues when you think about it, and they are very similar to walkers - super fast, chaotic, helplessly violent, and considered by everyone else as already dead. And they can spread this condition quickly just like the walkers. The colossus of Bravos came to life once right? Why is it specifically steel originated from Valeria that harms the walkers? "the doom consumed them all alike, but neither of them turned."
Even the name of the Stark's home is an archetypal harbinger. "Winterfell"
Winter - Fell . . .
The key to the end of the NightKing's southern invasion, is beneath WinterFell . . .
This was an excellent presentation!
In the preview for next week someone says, "the dead are already here." Maybe this means the ones in the crypts.
"when he gave his seed to her he gave his soul as well."
Sound like my friend who got a vegan girlfriend.
Paul Kersey hahahahaha this is hilarious lol
i am a vegan girl, a trust me, you'd give me more than that ;)
Too funny!!!😂😂😂😂
Classically funny.
LOL
The last hero was also a white walker. He fought with the Night King when they came together from the north to take over westeros 8,000 years ago. But (a) he turned good cuz he didn't like the carnage and (b) he fell in love with Night King's queen who happen to be a human.
So he fought Night King with the help of Children of the forest, defeated him and threw him back. He had a son with the queen whose name was Brandon Stark. Brandon build the wall to stop the Night King from returning and buried his parents (Last hero and the queen) in the crypts before building Winterfell over it. And that's how Starks are related to the white walkers. They are half white walkers.
Well they CAN handle the cold really well..
That's how John was brought back?? Maybe lol
Well Jons uncle Ben is a half white walker, so that could have been a hint from earlier, he has been a white walker for a long time and still is good.
Hasan Matloob if the last hero is in the crypts he mau rise and help jon maybe give or show him lightbringer(sword of the last hero) so that he nay defeat th Night King
@@jamesparrilla1668 that's my thoughts as I read this. Who are the spirits vengeful towards? Maybe not other Stark's but the white walkers.
GREAT video!! I loved all the book references.
Love the background music! So chilling
Amazing theory video. 10/10 😊
Coincidently; what type of bird does the fallen feather belong to? I'm sure it is significant. I thought it was a raven feather, but it's pattern is a bit odd . . .
“The Crypts below Winterfell are located below Winterfell” ... ya don’t say! 😄
Cool video and some great thoughts and ideas that make sense 👌🏻👍🏻
🔥🔥🔥 Love this breakdown.
They don't like Jon because he has fire within him and they despise fire, not Jon...
tho it is interesting when they said that the winterfell's underground was even larger than the winterfell we know which is upground
now imagine how many of the kings must be down there in thousands of years, uff...
This was the best teaser breakdown I've ever watched. From what you said here I wonder if the night King is actually coming to rescue a night Queen from Winterfell? Could it be the night King is in the right and he was wronged when his Queen was kidnapped? If we find this to be true can we actually end up rooting for the night King to win back his Queen? If this happened in the story many minds would explode.
Robin Redbreast YES! That would be amazing!
Robin Redbreast in den ich zzzuuuuujj
Brilliant! Awesome Video!
Great work, thank you!
Great channel brother.
Appreciate that! ✊
Great name!
The only problem is that none of this was established on the show so I dont think they will go that deep with only 6 episodes. In this case i think the simplest explanation is the best in that its the Night King. Id love to see this playout in the books though
I have always thought this, too. This involves waaaaaaay too much back story for the TV show to explain it at the end. I wish they had shown more about the crypts all along. They are super important in the books.
They have always shown the crypts in the show. Take a look at that feather on lyanna's statue's arm. It fell off, Sansa picked it up and put it back, it fell off when the winter wind comes at the teaser, bran had dreams of going down there, I think it won't take much to reveal things down there in the final season.
Yeah, agreed. My friends who only watch the show don't understand half the back stories. And this is too deep. I have watched the show myself and all this wasn't there. Not even Jon's dreams or the mention of iron swords or ice eyes.
I guess the show would more focus on azor ahai and battling the NK. Or well, there could be. One entire episode dedicated to this. And the episodes are long too. Maybe they show it as a series of bran's visions?
dont forget its 6 episodes but they are 2hour episodes each
It will be established through Brans flashbacks... I hope it does
Interesting! Thanks for doing this!
