- Welcome back for another Game of Thrones Season 8 video. Today I want to talk about some of the biggest unanswered questions and theories from Game of Thrones. These unsolved mysteries still need answered before the show comes to an end. We may be heading into the last season, but there is still so much we don't know. Who is Jaqen H'ghar? Who is the Night King? What does the Night King want? Why did Melisandre go to Volantis? Will Arya Stark ever finish her list? Who will sit on the Iron Throne at the end of Game of Thrones? #11 Will Bran get stuck in the past. Three Eyed Crow mentions how you can't linger too long or you get stuck... seems like foreshadowing to me.
No, he said stay too long and you'll drown. It's not foreshadowing of anything explicit. Just a general word of caution, nothing will come of it.

I don't think Bran will get stuck in the past because he is more powerful than before. And the former three eye raven was scare to any other information that can unveiled from the past because the former three eye raven was a bastard Targaryen named Brynden Rivers.
It is also said in the books that if skinchangers linger too long in the skin of another, they'll eventually forget who they were and become who (or what) they're living in.
That's likely how Bran becomes the Night King, if that is indeed what happens.

Personally I like to think Ned spoke with Jaqen H'ghar while he was imprisoned and asked him to watch over Arya :-)

Brandon of the Bloody Blade I believe this too but I also believe that in the end Danny will lose all of her dragons 🐉 which will be sad... Drogon will be the hardest as he’s had the most screen time and has connected with both Danny and Jon.... all this “Jon will rise Rhaegal as it’s named after his father” is crap! He connected with drogon and drogon connected with him. I can’t see (with 6 episodes left) a bond as well as Danny and drogon forming between Jon and rhaegal.

The main question is why did white walkers return? If they were gone for thousands of years why did they return? I think they returned for Brandon Stark. There is something we don't know yet.

I think it might have just been a way to link our characters together while also exploring a disease within the universe don't think there is any deeper meaning behind it

She's actually more like 400 years old. She may have witnessed the Doom of Valyria, which was around 300 years before present events.
I believe that according to her flashbacks in the books she was born in Hardhome and was taken as a slave from there a few hundred years ago. The magical glamour of her ruby necklace allows her to appear young to others.
There will be no Iron Throne to sit on. The wheel wil stay broken.

I believe he heard how he would die. This could explain why Melisandre said "I'm destined to die in this land, like you." When I first heard that, I thought it was odd how she emphasized 'And You,' almost like he knew how he would die, and Melisandre knew he knew. Is this crazy (or even understandable), I don't know, but it's possible.

Theres gotta be some kind of link between ned and the faceless man. Why else would arya be so drawn to the house of black and white? What will happen to this channel after season 8?
they will do videos on the spin off series, the books, there will be plenty of material
1. Jagen H'ghar is Noone
2. Night king is a stark(probably Bran will get stuck in his body)
3. Howland Reed is at his home.... Keeping his promise to Ned to keep the "secret" to himself
4. Yes, Arya will finish her list.... With help of hound or someone else (all men must die)
5. Melisandre needs more supporters for her to come back to westeros again... She needs a backup to not die as soon as she arrives... Maybe with an army or "lightbringer"
6. Book contains about the pact.... About the long night... About what the white walkers want.... Bran will see the past with help of these books
7. The news will come to everyone else after the great War is done.... Till then ppl will realise not all Targaryen are mad.... Jon has stark blood as well.
8. Prince that was promised is the child of Jon and Daenerys.... He will be born amidst smoke and fire and dust... During the war!
9. The Night king wants the prince that was promised to him during the pact.... He was promised a prince and the time has come when he wants what was promised to him.
10. Iron throne will be destroyed once king's landing is under attack.... Maybe Jon and Daenerys will defeat Cersei but Noone will actually sit in the iron throne.... Kingdom will be separated and ruled separately.

I think Arya is changed and will not marry. I think she will encourage Gendry & Sansa, to continue the bloodlines. Think about it, Rob & Rickon are dead, Brandon may be incapable, the Stark name is already done, at least the bloodline can continue.

Im thinking that Arya has Littlefinger's face and she goes down there using it to try to get close to Cersei to take her out. However, due to her spys in the north, Cersei will already know of Littlefinger's death and will capture Arya, unlike the first season where she had escaped. This will prompt Jon, The Hound, Jaimie, and Dany (if still alive) to go down there and rescue her. Kind of like the first season when Ned was captured.

the valonqar theory is not mentioned in the show, so they could kill cersei in other ways.

I've heard many people say when everyone finds out about Jon snow's true parents, its going to cause problems, but I disagree. First off, the north may dislike the targaryens, but they love the starks. And not only was his mother a stark, she was one of the most loved starks. And Jon was raised by starks and raised in the north, he loves the north. And they might not trust a targaryen, but Jon is the most trustworthy person in Westeros so I think they will come around. Secondly, his family wont look at him any differently. Arya and bran will still see him as a brother and if anything, Sansa will love him even more. Her biggest problem with Jon is she has always been a mommy's girl and thinking that her dad dishonored her mom by having a child with another woman made her dislike jon. Also seeing that her mom disliked jon kinda added to her dislike of him. So when she finds all this out, she will truly love him like a cousin and all the dislike will go away. And lastly, the only problem it might cause between him and Daenerys is their sexual relationship. Jon has never wanted leadership. He never asked to be made lord commander and he never asked to be king of the north. The people chose him. So just because he finds out he's the rightful heir isn't gonna make him want it. He respects daenerys and sees she would make a great king. His loyalty wont waiver. And Daenerys will prolly be happy she still has a legit family member, especially one like jon. I just wonder what there going to do about their feelings for each other. I don't care for the incest, but I wouldn't mind it between these to, I love them being together. Besides, there not brother and sister, there aunt and nephew, some age, did not grow up together and fell in love before they knew. Jon and daenerys together all the way to the end.

but the Valenquar has to be Tyrion, since he is the reason she has lost everything she loves, her parents, her children....her jaime haha
@@valtyrberzerk8990 Not necessarily. The Valenquar is a younger brother, which fits both Jamie and Tyrion. It would be awesome if it was Tyrion, but far more poetic if it was Ser Jamie.

I was really surprised this wasn't mentioned as a possibility in the video. It's my first guess.
I could see that happening but more metaphorical. The prince who was promised is supposed to end the long night. That means that if it is an infant, it would have to be something different than what is expected. Maybe he will be sacrificed or something. However, I think it will be one of the current characters. Maybe something unexpected though. For all we know it could be Theon. He is a prince and it would be a good way for him to redeem himself. Good theory though

With only 6 episodes left I would hate if D&D did that (J&D child is prince who was promised). Last season felt so rushed as it were, and things happened at such a blur, and most of the stories did not have time to develop as previous seasons. I preferred the pace and development of the first 5 seasons (minus Aria's strung out training). Unless it turns up to be some sort of undead child like in the Twilight series (God help me, I just compared a plot point from Twilight to ASOIAF... forgive me) I don't see it happening.
It will be a daughter. Cercei will rule until the girl comes of age and take over. She will be younger and more beautiful as the prophecy says. :=))

(When danny asks mirri mazduur about khal drogo)- when will he be as he is?
She says- when the Sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return and not before.
Danny takes this as never.
Grrm does not repeat things yet this is the only prophecy said twice in the same chapter.
So here's the theory-
When the Sun rises in the west and sets in the east - sun and stars is a dothraki way of saying my love...so when you leave essos and go to Westeros.
When the seas go dry- when the seas will freeze.
And the mountains blow in wind like leaves.- now the mountain of wall literally blew in the wind.
When your womb quickens again , and you bear a living child. - mirri never said Danny can't have children...she referred to a moment in time.
Then he will return and not before-
It never referred to drogo as a person,it referred to the man she loves, her husband. It refers to jon snow is her man, her love.
If true, how does this advance the story in any way?

I think this is another reference to Sun/Son just like Gillie talking to Sam about "Sea/See" words that sound the same but are spelled differently. The Night King is a Son (rising in the West to "set" in the east) of Winterfell (theory could be Bael the Bards bastard son who was basically the first Jon Snow), he's returning due to the current Jon Snow in some way. Their stories mirror each other being a son of a Stark girl... also hence why Ygritte said "an evil name" when she met the current John Snow. the whole story comes full circle and the NK isn't fully evil
