Mad respect to this amazing group of regular F1 fans making amazing content for us,making us excited even in the offseason or after a boring race, love your work and your stories how you were confident enough and ended up here what i hope is only thebeginning of an amazing story, lots of love and keep doing amazing stuff for everyone we truly appreciate it
I got into f1 only a year ago through watching the race highlights and I haven't stopped watching, you guys helped me understand and have fun with it thank you for all the videos :)
Who's the fastest 1. Real WTF1 fans know this.
I saw it in the Nico rosberg video
It's harder to find out for newer fans though. Doesn't mean they're no fan.
@@Twlight1611 same here. He thought it was what the fuck 1 😂🤣😂. I did too.
Same
I always thought that it stands for world of the F1.... But than got the answer in the nico's vid
55:35 Love what Jess is saying here, I believe I got interested in motorsport because of a combination WTF1 and video games. WTF1 has always been a really acessible media outlet for all fans, regardless of their depth of knowledge in the sport. It's great to have a media outlet that's actually funny, and speaks to the younger audience. I love that you don't have to be an expert to apreciate the jokes too. The content really simplifies new rule changes and technical details, while still providing good detail for more experienced fans.
That’s awesome to hear!
I started watching F1 highlights one day in class and came across WTF1 videos and watched as many as I could. They were what got me in to F1 and in turn make me decide to go on to do a Motorsport Engineering degree to pursue my dream of working in F1!
@@WTF1official i found you guys after monaco, canada and france......
Why
Whyyy
Must be ericsson's fault
seriously without WTF1 my life would be a little bit less interesting
It‘s so incredible to get to know you more as people! I got into F1 in 2015 just because it was always one when I was chilling in the living room.. pretty early on I found your site & then I was hooked, you turned me from an occasional viewer into a die hard f1 fan & made it easy for me to understand new rules and regulations and everything even though I didn’t know anything at the beginning. So thank you so much and keep going!
1:08:00 100% worth watching this whole thing for the reaction!
WTF1 BY THE FANS FOR THE FANS !! Thanks so much guys . ❤️ the content. breath of fresh air . Tired of hearing about Superbowl from friends. Can't wait for season to start .
All of you are truly inspirational! Hearing Tommy's story in particular just makes me believe that anything is possible with hard work. I would love to work in Formula 1, so I look to you as people who are living my dream. That being said, there are a number of industries that I would want to work in, so who knows what I'll be doing. You produce superb content, so keep it up for 2019!
I came upon this channel last year after watching a series of motor sports videos on CZcams one day and my first video I watched on this channel was when Matt drove an F1 car at Silverstone. Around this same time in late June 2018, I started to watch more and more of your videos, and fell in love with your content and still love it to this day. You all are a big reason why I’m a Formula One fan today and continuously learning about the sport’s history. I really hope to meet you all one day here in America, keep producing awesome stuff and I think your all’s passion will lead you to great success down the road. Love you guys
It's funny, I was introduced to f1 by you guys. Received a recommended video about the different Motorsport pitstops. I really liked it, and just subscribed to the channel. Each video after just brought me deeper and deeper into the fandom. So, thanks...
Please do these more often! I like the informal feel of it. I'd love to see more AMA podcasts like this where you talk about anything, F1 related, motorsport related, or even nothing to do with motorsport at all!
I've only known wtf1 since probably the last 2 years, but last year's probably the first when I'm really following and I really appreciate your contents. Especially love the podcast and as you all said, it's the fan's perspective that you put front and centre that made it different! Keep up the brilliant work!
Also an AKG, a Sennheiser, and a Beyerdynamic? Nice. #wrongfocus
26:23 If you don't know about old Matt's channel you don't know what you are missing
F1 CZcamsR CHAMPIONSHIP was the greatest series in the history of CZcams
Hairpin time!
@@stamp28 "Oh my god my controller's turned off. I've got no controllers available. I need to sign back in its not letting me SIGN INNNNN!!... WHATS MY PASSWORDDD!!!!???"
And the Project Cars rage videos...oh God
I just started watching F1 again late in the 2017 season (dropped it at around the V8 era iirc) and you guys have been one of my primary sources of F1 talk since then. You guys are an inspiration. Greetings from halfway across the world :)
What you guys do for the sport is far more than Liberty or Bernie ever would / did. You've engaged a whole new generation of fans, provided a great contrast to how corporate the sport has become, and remain so humble about it. Love your work, keep it up!
I'm Italian, and I'm training my English listening skills also by listening to your podcasts. And your videos. And your "That's Raidillon actually" contents. Thanks guys 💪🏻
I just want to say, i love u guys, as persons. I know sounds weird.. unfortunately i never met u but... I dont know, its weird. U guys just hooked me up again for f1! Thanks for all your work.
One of the best things I’ve watched in a long time. Massive respect to all you guys! Also Jess’s advice at the end regarding networking and talking to people in an industry is 100% right. Although I don’t work in the Motorsport industry, it reins true in the industry I work in.
I became very interested in F1 mid last year and WTF1 was massively helpful in integrating me into the culture. I've watched every WTF1 episode since and also watched summaries of all the recent F1 season on F1tv and I can't believe I've been missing out on the greatest sport! You guys (and gal) are so relatable, it feels like I'm having a weekly chat with my friends across the pond (I'm from LA). Thank you!
This video is awesome! I really got into your podcasts early on in the 2019 season, but like you guys I've been following F1 since watching it with my dad as a kid. It's so cool to hear the history that you guys have. WTF1 is genuinely the best F1 news and insight site ever! Thank you all for what you do!
You guys were pretty crucial into getting me into f1 and motorsport in general. Thanks for helping me find my passion, and finally letting me figure out where I want to go in life
All three have such interesting and varied career paths. You can tell the content is made by fans by the jokes and humour throughout, as well as the passion. One of my favourite podcasts to listen to as well. Hope the channel keeps growing further and further. Having something to do with f1 has always been a dream, especially now I've finished my management and marketing degree, although living in Australia makes me feel this is somewhat unrealistic. Keep up the good work guys. Hope you're coming to the Aus gp, would be great to see you here! Keep practicing those autographs ✌️
I'm actually one of those "out of nowhere" converts to F1. Being from the USA, there really isn't a huge following over here (case in point, coverage for COTA this year started on lap 12 during Riccardo's retirement turned safety car). I've always been fascinated by cars, and played a lot of racing games (Gran Turismo 2, Forza, etc). A buddy of mine had done some amateur dirt oval racing and was obviously a fan of racing as well. We were sitting around one day wishing we could watch WRC (which is painfully difficult to watch due to its format), and I thought "The hell with it, let's watch F1". At the time, we didn't even know when the season started - but it just so happened that the first race was the next weekend. We DVR'd it, watched it, and were instantly hooked. I haven't missed a race since.
That was 3 seasons ago (when Nico won). I'm 30, he's 31. WTF1 Podcasts are like our favorite thing in the world. Thanks for enthusing with us guys, keep it up.
Datamancer I live in Canada and like you, there are not many people I know that are interested in F1. I have an F1 channel, Kidslovef1 if you could check it out I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
WOW! When I take my headphones off I can't hear you guys anymore. That's amazing! What a sensation!!
You guys are doing an absolute amazing job! Love to watch your videos. Keep on going! Many thanks for all your effort! Its very cool to hear whats behinde all this content!
Loved the openness guys. Really awesome podcast, can't wait to see you next season!
I remember the first page actually. I remember you posting on what was f1fanatic too. Well done for what you've achieved
Never watched a 1:08:00 video before without skipping a second. Tnx for the good content, and keep up the good work!
Atish Sisodia dammit, you got me😂
Awh Jess, loved your talk at the end! As a girl who loves motorsport I feel like I'm kinda being seen as a fool sometimes. Keep on doing great thing girl!
Btw, I love Tommy's nerdy side, and that story about Joe' pit board and the racing number are awesome haha!
I live in the States and 2018 was my first year following F1 (started with the McLaren documentary on Amazon). You have been a huge part of my F1 education and enjoyment. The Radillon video was how I learned about WTF1 and I now never miss a video.
Ever consider covering IMSA? I realize that it's far away from you, but the multi-class racing is excellent and there are some good personalities in the sport as well.
Love this channel; definitely part of my F1 weekend routine. Keep up the good work.
I still remember liking and following the Facebook page back in 2011 and being so happy to see F1 related humour and memes was so glad been a huge fan since so glad it’s gone so far and will continue to do so !
Awesome to hear the back story to Who's The Fastest 1! You all do an awesome job and the content you create is awesome, keep it up! Looking forward to more podcasts! Also, why can I not stream F1 live in Australia with the F1 ap??
Thank You, this podcast has reinvigorated my dream of being a motoring journalist. I am only a grade 9 student in Australia but I have a dream of being a motoring journalist, but like Jess I have a ‘business’ mindset and I believed it could only be a pipe dream. This has given me the belief my dream is possible, thank you.
Almost 300k, keep going guys!!
26:28 Playing F1 games, shouting and raging?...
"THEY'RE PUTTING DRIES ON!!!!" Lol.

You guys and Chainbear really do put out the best F1 content. Looking forward to seeing some more Formula E coverage!
Holy shiiiit I do not have time to watch this now but I'm just commenting to say F Yes I was not expecting a pod cast any time soon and this is suuuuuch an uplifting and awesome surprise!
This is my first time listening to the WTF1 podcast and i love it! : )
Are you going to ask Ocon to be on the podcast.
In a country like India where there is less popularity for F1, you guys landed me to this world of motorsport, and from then on, I am a huge F1 fan.... Thank you Matt, Jess and Tommy for being such wonderful people... Matt's humour, Tommy's technical knowledge, and Jess's charm adds a lot to your podcasts... Keep doing this for once and Ever..... Love from 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 🇮🇳
I wish Matt would revive his dead channel XMattyG I want to see more banterlicious career mode, online, and the rage

@@daleboyd8010 I also wish he'd revive his music channel Mattybraps
You are freaking amazing guys!!!Keep up what you are doing. I love watching everything you do. I learned so much about F1 (just started to reaaaaly watch it this last season 2018, in the past I was like, yeah F1, watch a race if it was on but that was it) now I daily check the F1 App and you guys. Thank you for making F1 so much attractive, for me anyway.!!!
I feel like I should point out, WTF1 re-ignited my long dormant love for not just F1, but my native V8 Supercars as well.
Im 26 and I look like 18 and I love F1. I can relate to Tommy so much.
Finally got around to watching this, it's been flashing in my notification bar for days... fuck you, work.
Love all of your back stories, even Jess's "boring" one, which wasn't boring at all by the way. It may have been a bit more on the conventional side but it's the story of someone who went through the grind of working hard, networking and taking a few leaps.
You're all obviously made of strong stuff on the inside. I've come across plenty of young people who basically want everything handed to them on a silver platter. This was really refreshing in comparison.
Congratulations on 300k subscribers WTF1 team.
Jess, that was the best advice ever. Thank you!
Love the show! Love the website! Watch all WTF1 content! .. Matt, Tommy you guys are Great!, but anyway we can get Jess to model some of those t-shirts? WoWzA!
Loved it thanks great podcast
Thanks for giving us just what we want..👍😄😄😊😊
19:40 my question! Thank you! 😂
This podcast was great.
Wow, this was a whole rollercoaster ride.
I won a canvas from WTF1 in January 2011, been there since the start!
Should both Leclerc and Mick Schumacher be Ferrari's drivers at some point, who would Matt be rooting for?
Best podcast ever!!
I'm one of those few that wasnt introduced to F1. Living in the states nobody really follows F1. I only got into it by watching one of your challenge videos. then I started looking into it and and became then fanboy i am
NICE info in this show. me = fan since 1959. 100+ live G.P.'s attended. F1 artist - drivers own my work. Like what you are doing/ much like the defunct F1 News magazine.
burdine estep Tommy here. What a great compliment as my childhood was growing up reading F1 News magazine, my bedroom wall was full of the posters that came in the middle! 🙏🏻
Are Ted Kravitz Appreciation Society T-shirts still available?
Would anyone be interested in a Will Buxton Appreciation T-shirt now?
Will Matt finish CZcams championship with tiametmarduk intothebarrier and noble2909
They keep teasing it on Twitter...
FieryWolf 39820 I really don’t know but I hope so!
Good stuff
Jess is really good at asking questions like how do you think of so many?
First discovered WTF1 back when they used to spam follow & unfollow on twitter, after a couple of times I followed back & it was definitely a good choice👏🏻
I almost didn't watch this video... but glad I did
You’re here for 8:49
Over here in Northern Ireland stock cars are old bangers like vauxhall astras and reliant robins
Yall should have Jimmy Broadbent do some Sim videos for you guys!
can someone post a link to that interview with clive chapman
during 2017 i used to think that Tommy was a WTF1 intern :)
Tom Bellingham haha cheers for the wtf1 success!
17:30 LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS 👌😂
Review from Matt's first video (the Lotus video): Stiff, but definitely not bad. I can definitely feel you cringing on the inside from the aerodynamics question and the slight hesitation in Clive's answer, but not bad at all. The hands though...
Jess rockin' the BeyerDynamic headphones. Better than those nub AKGs any day.
It's over all ready 😭😭
Is this gonna be on Spotify?
will we get a last minute preseeason podcast? ;)
what grand prixs are you going to this year?

Do a video as like a review of lewis turned into me like IntoTheBarrier (aka Sgt. Kamarov)
GRAND PRIX ROCK AND RACING og xMattyG fans will know
Remember Hairpin Time!?
My only concern for IBR and podcasts is that Matt will be biased towards Leclerc’s whenever he’s involved in a incident, unlike the previous two years when Matt wasn’t biased towards Vettel or Hamilton
Tommy is a very wise man not only because he's the founder of this great thing here but also he believes in the chosen one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!33!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matt "I wear hilfiger but I promise I'm not a Hamilton fanboy" Gallagher
I'm not a fan boy I'm just passionate
"THEIR PUTTING ON DRIES" - Should be Matt's catchphrase
Is that Alister I can hear talking away in the background or someone else?
00:01 STAPH IT!!
