#yasmoment Charles Leclerc getting out of turn 1 alive and immediately complaining about Alonso on the radio.
OMG why did Alonso just start flying and ruin my race?
Imrahil
“What....what”
Bsat Chaaaarrrrrllllles thought the incident was Alonso's fault
Markuss Staskevics I was quoting Charles’ radio
@@NoCokeOnlyIce ahh ok, then use the quotation marks.
I loved the Horner interview after the race. He was talking about how Red Bull need to do something to catch the Mercs and Ferrari and came out with "Hearing Lewis moan about Ferrari, I nearly got my violin out." He's an absolute gem
`Best Comment this Year loved it!
My #YasMoment was Verstappen getting so bored he literally radioed in asking if there was even a _slight_ chance of rain 😂😂 Cracked me up.
#yasmoment Stoffel Vandoorne asking for the fan with the “don’t give up stoff” sign to be tracked down and inviting him for a look behind the scenes in the McLaren garage
Jur Bos wait this happened? I can’t find anything about this online?
yeah, I saw it in Stoffel's instagram story
@@Captainspamo check on the f1 twitter
The kid was also holding a let’s go Lewis sign

Lawrence Stroll set to buy the channel with son Lance set to take over the leading role performing double duty alongside his racing career. The podcast is set move to swanky new offices in Montreal and will be renamed "Racing Pointless WTF1"

Pointless Racing is more suited to the
@@isaacchua0405 yes but it doesn't fit as well considering its a play on "racing point force india"
I'm surprised no one has posted this yet but for me I just love the moment where Kimi said "just leave me alone, I know what I'm doing"
#YasMoment When Charles Leclerc got on the radio to cheer on Ericsson after his race finished early, such a team player!
Sam Evans, Leclerc is awesome!
Did he really?
Huge respect to both Charles and Marcus. Good lads.
Sam .S yeah! Was great to hear him motivating Marcus to get the Toro Rossos'!
#yasmoment seeing Danny Ric get a brand new REAR wing added over a couple of laps in the garage. I’m always in awe at the red bull mechanics.
That was brilliant
#YasMoment - Ocon and Perez almost P1 & P2 into Les Commes. Stellar comeback from near non-existence a few days prior.
really sad none of the 3 word race reviews were "that's raidillon actually"
Shit I was going to say that
I was thinking that when the 3 word race review was being played. xD
It's spelt "Raidillon" actually.
#YasMoment Vettel going "Redddd light spelllss dannngerrrr"
Vinay Lalwani * red lighttttt.....smellsss dayyyyy.....spells dangerrrrrrr
Best ahahaha
YAAAAAAAAAS
#yasmoment Force India coming back from administration and going P3 & P4 in qualifying.
I love these podcast vids! They are so much fun and really funny but still maintain an element of focus about F1! Thank you Jess, Tommy and Matt for this amazing vid! 😊😏
Everyone walking away unharmed from that T1 crash #YasMoment
Seriously though that's the main thing
Yes the halo saved Charles life I slowed down Hartleys onboard and it clearly shows that Alonsos right tyre was going straight towards Charles head
(I know they basically said this in the podcast but I commented my opinion straight away before watching it)
Compleatly agree, hartley's onboard shows it very well
I would have to agree too.
Twice actually. Alonso's front right wheel was going for Leclerc's head, but the halo has bounced it upwards. To see what happens after that go to the Sky Sports F1 on Twitter ald watch the 28-seconds video with the self-explanatory title ALONSO'S CAR BOUNCES OFF LECLERC'S HALO. You'll see how THE WHOLE McLaren pivots on the halo for a moment, before the Sauber's momentum sends it in the air again. It is really graphic and awesome to see, above all because everyone involved walked away unscaved.
Locomotion2121 I’ve watched that video and I agree it does show it fully. Charles is my favourite driver on the grid and to see that happen really shocked me. I was totally against the halo until this happened and it really upset me to see how many people actually would have rather seen a young talent die just so the cars would look pleasing.
Sims4 Girl It did its job. Its not pretty but oh well
#YasMoment Its more a sad moment but the bad luck of Kimi with him retiring :( That's the biggest thing that I remember from the race.
Three word summary: That's Radillion actually.
My #yassssssssmoment was seeing Sirotkin in the points for a lap 😂
27:30 It was Jody Scheckter who said Alonso was overrated. ;)
You are correct, thanks!
She was right
Surprised Hulk didn’t blame the netcode…
#YasMoment was definitely the Force Indias almost pulling and absolutely legendary move for the lead on lap 1.
You three are great together, what a great podcast. Please keep up the good work
Great podcast again
jess is cute asf
Too bad she's dumb as a concrete block
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Phillip L. 👌
8:46 for the halo talk...
thanks my friend
My #YasMoment of the week was just watching all of drivers go screaming up Eau Rouge in a matter of seconds on that ever so eventful first lap.
#YasMoment when Leclerc asked "what did he do?"
#yasmoment When Ricciardo went up Eau Rouge without a rear or front wing and it still seemed that he went for the overtake on the Williams
That was Raidillon actually.
hahahaha
thats raidillon actually
Can we just move on to Monza, i dont want to hear the word radillion again haha
@@lucasjoona2182 but maybe we'll then find out that the corner names at Monza aren't what we thought they were either
#yasmoment definetly bottas’ overtake on hartley at Eau Rouge/Raidillon, brought back memories of Webber on Alonso
#yasmoment "your scratching the floor" Seb lol
BlokkBusta He sounded so sad by the end of it 😂
Great podcast! This was far more interesting than the race 😂
Anyone else show not as much interest when Jess disappeared for a bit in recent episodes ? I did But now she's back I do love these podcasts an these three are my fave ... 😁
#YasMoment Ocon almost winning the GP. OK not quite accurate but you know
*Ocon almost leading the GP
@@dielegende9141 That was exactly the word I was looking for, thanks bud
#yasmoment bottas missing his breakingpoint at turn 1 but no one noticed because of the crash.
#YasMoment Esteban Ocon almost taking the lead into Les Combes on the 1st lap.
Really great to see Racing Point Force India team remain in the sport & finish with both cars in the points.
On the halo, best to be asking "DID it save him", than "WOULD it have saved him" Just saying...
Indeed
not raciing in a car would have saved him too fucking stupid statement
9:37 just in case there is still someone who thinks the halo is rubbish and Charles wouldn't got hit anyways...
Yes, so haters of the halo you can shut up 🙃
How did no one realise Ricciardo going up eau rouge (radillon the memes dead) WITH NO BACK WING!!!!!!
It's REAR wing actually
That’s radillon actually
I seen the replay and said there was no way he was going to make it up it without spinning
Its spelled Raidillon acctualy
@@lerias8027 It's spelled actually actually..
#YasMoment : the picture taken of Vettel, Hamilton, Perez and Ocon going 4-wide on the kemmel straight with the orange smoke behind them from the dutch fans. Iconic
What has stroll done to deserve a seat at Force India? The only great race he has had in his career was baku 2017. I hope Ocon gets his chance to fight for wins in f1 and championships, and he better not get screwed over by money.
Same mate angry at I will be angry about Ocon (if doesn't get a seat) 👿😠
Exactly. His defenders keep bringing that race up. One race does not make a good driver. I ought to remind them who won Williams' last race...
Baku wasn't even a great race. He inherited a podium. Massa could have won that race if his suspension hadn't broke but Stroll was. Nowhere.
Mattyd 77 You can’t say he’s bad until he actually gets in a good car. The guy has talent whether you like it or not, not as good as Ocon, but he still has talent.
@@jbc17c Less talent than Sirotkin who overqualified him at ( almost ) every race
#yasmoment Hulk says he's going to "smash it up" pre-race on channel 4, didn't realise he meant it so literally...
#yasmoment The first 30 seconds of the race followed by another 3 minutes of replays and getting a strong feeling of deja vu. Love the podcasts
#YasMoment: Kimi radio message to his engineer about his rear wing been stuck open...conversation was priceless.
There is an old Russian proverb "There is nothing more permanent than a temporary solution".
I hate the halo, I find it ugly as sin. I'm not even convinced it made much of a difference in the Alonso - Leclerc crash after having seen some camera angles where it looks like he would have careened over regardless, but the fact crashes like that happen makes it's use indisputable. If cars can fly over the top of each other then the halo WILL eventually save a life.
I agree 100%. People are acting like the halo cures cancer.
But Also's wheel went flying past about a foot in front of Leclerc. If he'd been 1 foot down the road, it would have walloped him.
@@lokittylaufeysonofasgard The front wing would have gotten him if not the tire.
#Yasmoment Sirotkins move must be the highlight. Something we haven't seen yet this season. Good to see some unexpected quality!
My #YasMoment was Christian Horner's sarcastic comment about getting his violin out for Hamilton.
Another great podcast guys!
#YasMoment Seb Vettel's no nonsense first lap overtake
My #yasmoment was watching vettel go by Hamilton with ease and imagining Hamilton's jaw hit the bottom of his cockpit
#yasmoment . That moment when Charles Leclerc says "What did he do?" as he has no idea what just happened behind him and that the halo saved his life.. 😇
#yasmoment there is no single best moment, the whole weekend was awesome. We had it all. Rain, crashes, great overtakes, battle for positions, retires and funny radios
Yes.
Bruh
These Halo haters still exists .
LOL
The Halo is still ugly but it´s doing his job
Yes, I do still hate the halo
At the beginning of the 2016 season i was really hate the halo devices,Keeps wishing the halo device could disappear in the future But fia already set the new rules for 2018 so nothing i can do about it. After one year later i realized it's really helpful for drivers to covers the heavy impact .Also i heard some of the driver comment about the halo device could blocks those annoying sunlight. From that time i was starting loves the halo a bit and starting to defend halo device haters comment .
the halo will always be ugly lol might as well build a roof on the damn thing
#YasMoment Finding out no one got physically hurt in the turn 1 crashfest.
Two word and an acronym race review: ABS for hulkenberg
Very much agree on having the podium interviews back instead of the par ferme. That is so ridiculous, let us be heard!
#YasMoment The Carnage at the 1st corner :o
I clicked the notification so fast that I LITERALLY broke it... :(
#yas marina my favourite moment is definetely the four wide into les combes, absolutelly fantastic
My YAAASS moment was when Ocon almost overtook Vettel! I was jumping up and down edging him on! Then the action slowed down a bit.
#YasMoment When Verstappen avoided crashing into Ocon after Esteban moved to the right then kinked back to the left just before the braking zone. It's crazy how Max predicted the move and just narrowly avoided crashing into him in the braking zone. I know these two raced in something like F3 before so I'm wondering if they know each others tactics and race craft, and that's how Max knew Esteban would move to the outside again.
No, I think Verstappen just saw how early Ocon braked and went for it.
Tim Drake its funny because max made a similar move in f3 on Ocon down that same corner.
#YasMoment Bottas going around the outside of Hartley through eau rou... radillion actually
It's spelt "Raidillon" actually.
No, he made the move through Eau Rouge. At Raidillon he was already ahead.
@@SamuelSantos_ Raidillon*
#yaaaaaasssssmoment Esteban and Checo taking on the big boys in quail and the race, especially after the administration and buy out saga, really great for the all the guys in the garage and back at the factory. Really awesome to see 😊
#yasmoment after the race when Martin was talking to Lewis and you can see/hear the hopelesness in Lewis' face/voice for Monza. Btw love you guys and letting you know that Thailand watches you too!!!!! Keep up the good work🤙
Vettel's overtaking Lewis at the outset. Followed by Christian Horner's comment after the race re Lewis "almost got my violin out" Lol #yaaasmoment :)
People only come here for the first 3 minutes and then we read the comments.
I went straight to the comments.
I have never watched this podcast before, but started scrolling at the 3 minute mark. When will people learn that on youtube, you get right to the point because I can click off of the video easily. I'm literally timing how long it takes for them to get on topic.
#Yasmoment
When redbull engineers replaced dani ric's rear end in 4 minutes with all the damage it had sustained. Great bit of effort; and the "fight back" spirit
#YasMoment Vettel shouting and swearing at his engineer for not lifting the car up properly and him being completely oblivious to it ahahaha
#yasmoment when Leclerc DIDN’T die in an accident.
#yasmoment vettel overtaking Hamilton right after radillon actually
#YasMoment The first 30 seconds. Packed with so much of action, first corner Hulkenberg late on the breaks resulted in 2 chainreactions, one obvious (LeClerc) and one hidden (rear wing Riccardo into Raikkonen) and immediatly afterwards Vettel vs. Hamilton vs. Pink just seconds before SC deployed.
Wow - How thrilled I sat before my TV!
#yaaaasmoment Seeing 4 cars including 2 midfielders going side by side into a corner. WE NEED MORE OF THIS
#yasmoment when force India had to start the 13th round with no points and already have more point then Williams. *cough cough* kubica>stroll *cough cough*
Kubica > Stroll+Sirotkin
My #YasMoment was when Bottas overtook Hartley on Raidillon. Great move!
DDP tHaTs RaiDiLlOn AcTuAlLy
OOH NO, you are right. Let me change that
Best #yasmoment is Vettel's singing at the end since we got no Alonso radio traffic this time around
I think my #YASMoment was watching Verstappen pull that left-right move for the overtake on Ocon in lap 7. Was just so well executed and clean to look at
#YasMoment Max asking if there was any rain
#yasmoment Thats raidilion actually
#yasmoment qualifying when Ocon and Perez improved their times and ended up P3 and P4. After the summer they have had, it was an absolutely brilliant moment. Nearly had tears in my eyes! 😭
#Yasmoment was listening to the laughter on Raidillon when the F1 Experience truck broke down trying to get up Eau Rouge. It must have been the "McLaren F1 Experience" :)
#yasmoment I said to myself 2016, if Nico wins I’m gonna buy Bose qc35 headphones for 3-400€ to support him, and I did! And a day later he retired so I supported Hamilton instead, not what I had in my mind.. 😭
Hulkenberg hit my faviroute driver fernando alonso and i was there at the race and it broke me heart
@@alexanderodonnell988 I bet it did mate just glad everyone is ok 😀
i know imm gonna get abused but... I actually quite like the look of the halo. I think it adds more fluidity to the looks of the car instead of it just abruptly stopping after the engine.
My #YasMoment was the drama of Turn 1, almost too many incidents to realise them all! Glad no one was injured
My #YasMoment has to be the Force Indias finishing P5 and P6! They were strong all week-end, especially after the hectic summer they had. Even during and after those uncertain times the team seemed to have worked even harder to get the most out of this race. What an awesome start for a "new" team! I was also very happy for Ocon who really proved his talent, which can only benefit him since it's still not certain where he will end up for next season.
Sure it did, look at the crack on it!
My favourite moment was Kimi getting rejected by his engineer until he shouted at him to get him to box #YasMoment
#YasMoment The battling between Ericsson and Hartley, the amount of back and forth between them is amazing!!
#YasMoment where Alonso went flying and the bodywork looked like wing for the car.
#YasMoment I have to admit, when Horner in the interview after the race said "Hearing Lewis moan about Ferrari, I nearly got my violin out"😂👌 and damn, the strong comeback of the Pink Panthers!👊
#yasmoment when Ocon said "you're joking" when he got the news that he was P3 in quali
#YasMoments When Ocon dove into the chaos of Vettel and Hamilton to make an attempt on 1st. Although he didn't get it, it was still satisfying to see such and underrated driver defend his prospects of even being in the sport next year.
#YasMoments the choreography between the two Force Indias and the two championship contenders. It bought back memories of a different era in the sport
NO WAYYYY!!!!! You answered my question!!!! That's so cool
Great podcast! Thanks!
Can you talk about the fact that we are watchin two diffrent races on the same track? Top three teems are so much better than all the other (Red Bull a little less) that they are racing on their own? How many "drives thriugh the field" have we seen? Everybody just doesn't fight with them because they know they can't. (Yes, there are exeptions but that is the main idea of this season)
#YasMoment my favourite moment was the incredible work that Red Bull did to get Riccardo out only one lap down after his rear wing change.
#YasMoment The thrilling action packed moment when Vettel's Ferrari making its way ahead of Lewis's Mercedes, and at the same time both of the Force Indias Ocon & Perez catching up with front runners all the four wheel to wheel, before they braked and Ferrari gaining an advantage on Mercedes getting in front of the pack just before the deployment of safety car was a suspense that was worth enjoying.
Favorite #YasMoment Alonso being stuck behind Petrov in 2010; I'm a Ferrari fan and was cheering for Alonso, however Petrov did a really good job there, nice driving :)
I think DRS is definitely needed at some tracks, but it's awful at others. I hope it's not going to get awfully dull next season with the bloody thing enhanced
#YasMoment Lap 1, Danny Ric took a slightly outside line along Eau Rouge as he did not want to be overtaken by the Williams. He had a completely broken rear wing and half of his front wing was gone. Still he managed to stay slightly on a outside line along Eau Rouge to Radillion and yet not let Hartley overtake him. Going at that high speed with much lesser down force and that also not on the ideal racing line, not just high level guts, but insane skills too!
#yasmoment The 3 laps of battle between the Alpha and Toro rosso. Impressed with the max speed of that Honda.
My #YasMoment was simply watching Force India having such a great weekend and race with both cars after a long time and with a "new begining" with Racing Point.
#yasmoment was defo seeing both the force indias having a go at Les Combes, more specifically Ocon actually getting me hyped about sending it up the inside
Bottas' overtake on the outside of eau rouge/radillion on Hartley
My moment of the race tbh as the 1st lap 4 wide moment was taken by Jess 😂🔫
#YasMoment That split-second on lap 1 where the leaders were 4-wide at the end of the Kemmel Straight!
Was mentioned pre-Race on the Sky coverage how they didn't have practice starts on the grid this year during Practice. Do wonder if that affected where drivers were expecting to need to brake...
