Replacing Disa Valve/Flaps on BMW N52 | E70 X5

After experiencing several random intake faults I decided to try and replace the disa flaps while I had the oil filter housing off. I had hoped I could replace the inner flap without pulling the manifold but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

I’m at 178,000 miles. I tested the valves using my foxwell scanner. It has an activation test in it. amzn.to/3Ke7HiE
