FORD 6.7 | YOU did WHAT with the EGR?!?!

  • Egr VALVES on 6.7 Powerstrokes, do you know how?!?! Hey broski's!!! Hope I find everyone doing well with all this craaaaaaziness goin on. Tonight's pleasurable video footage is NOT the correct way to remove the EGR valve per the shop manual. However, in extreme circumstances, this being one of them, you may remove the EGR valve as you see here. I did not drop the ball & start to take up hack skillz, NO.....BUT....I felt the need to illustrate an "outside the box" way of thinking, to remove the valve for those who are trying to remove their own. If this helped someone, let me know in the comment section. SEE YOU ALL NEXT WEEEEEK!!!! 👍👊
DTC RETRIEVED DURING SELF-TESTS was P2073-MAP/MAF correlation at idle. Was stored in the PCM.

Sure would be nice if Ford could get around to making the EGR Cooler core change easier, like the oil/fuel filter. The EGR cooler is known to get clogged up as part of normal driving so why don’t the engineers and designers make them for easy at home changing. Ain’t nobody got time for all that mess of taking off the EGR HPBB. (high probability of breaking bolts) They did it with the oil cooler, mounted it on the side of the 6.7 motor instead of buried in the valley like 6.4.
