@@Mr_Triscuit I watched every video of the trial. I can't even understand how the judge allowed this case to go forward. The prosecutor's main witness which was the officer. Testified that Worley didn't carry his weapon in a threatening manner. In addition, EVERY witness said the same thing.
It's illegal to use a firearm to threaten or intimidate. And she does exactly that....i hope she resigned since
It's illegal if you are not in specific circumstances like defending yourself or an officer of the law carrying out your lawful duty.
What you said is irrelevant. They're all still pieces of shit, but your argument is garbage.
2 things I noticed all constitutional rights taken into consideration…1 the cops have shitty attitudes with you because you have a shitty attitude with them…even though it is your constitutional right to do so the police will be called if you’re casually strolling down the street with your AR15…and they will detain you whether it’s illegal or not…probably should take these into consideration before engaging in this type of behavior…it’s not being responsible…
1. His attitude is bad because these police are committing crimes against him .
2. If they are going to unlawfully detain those using their rights, these officers need to be in prison.

When the police stop you for walking around with an AR and you refuse to show them your ID when asked to. You're asking for jail time. This dude has to be one of the dumbest firearms owners on earth ! Stupid asshole makes the rest of us firearms owners look like criminal jackasses ! He belongs in jail for the crime of stupidity !
@ well it's not illegal where this video is shot so it's pretty stupid of you to mention that
@@rc5924 Not as stupid as it is to go walking around town carrying an AR-15. That's outright FUKKING DUMB NO MATTER WHAT ! Your opinion is strictly your own. Go ahead and call your local police station and ask if walking around town carrying an AR-15 is something that the police would recommend. It may be legal. But, like I said, it is incomprehensively irresponsible. Unless you seriously enjoy being stopped, questioned, and harassed by the police. If that's your idea of being a responsible firearms owner. Go for it ! I'm dead serious. DO IT AND SEE HOW RESPONSIBLE YOU THINK BRINGING THAT KIND OF ATTENTION TO YOURSELF IS ! Ten bucks says you'll have your opinion changed by several cops pointing guns at you.

But when cunts rain down on people doing what they are allowed to do, as restricted as it may be, if it's ok by the letter of the law, is that not the standard?
Law enforcement breaking the law is a portent of tyranny. Having so many laws and so vague is the avenue by which so many are wrongly persecuted.

The cop Hernandez has no right to be a cop the way she stood there with that shotgun pointed at his head, and then stood there like she was going to shoot a unarmed civilian is a crime. And the fact that they seized, searched, then unloaded the magazine in his gun are all things that are abuse of their power. Then what they did there was trap him in like a rat, then arrested him on falsified charges, unlawfully, and unconstitutionally. They should be sitting their asses in prison right now.

+Bosskidd Alonzo I don't understand why people are referring to this female officer as a "lady" she did nothing "lady like" in this video. She should be referred to as a "female or woman", but certainly not a "lady".
that's kinda sexist
+Bosskidd Alonzo Grow up...
I've always had a much worse experience with lady cops than male cops... as a matter of fact, its the lady cops that always seem to cause the most trouble
basically cunts in uniform
It's because they know they are inferior. Or at least they feel that way. so they feel like they have to prove that they are just as capable and tough as the male officers. Which very much ends up translating in a negative manner - so they act like giant cunts to everyone they come in contact with rather than excelling at serving at protecting ( which is how they should go about it)
Its bc they think that theyre hard asses bc they have a "mans job"
Maybe why the smaller male cops I've dealt with have been the biggest dicks. Little man syndrome. I worked security with guys who wanted to be cops. Being mall cops made them feel powerful. A few of the guys were cool, many were assholes.

@@fakename6822 If you pour milk in first, you know exactly how much milk you're putting in, and you know exactly how much cereal you're putting in. You'll also have a better estimate of how much you're drinking at the end. Then there's other problems like what if your milk is bad but you don't realize it after pouring it after your cereal? You're gunna take a bite and realize it's bad, then you wasted a bowl of cereal and you're also not gunna want to eat. Reason I bring that up is because it happened to a friend. ;) If you pour milk in last, you could put too much cereal in so when you pour your milk, it'll get too high which can make it harder to eat at first, and you're just guessing how much milk is in there because you can't see it..
Hz65 Shaikh so she’s like you?
4:07 “do you understand what I’m saying?” No, I have no idea what he’s saying. If it’s not a crime the first time how does it magically become a crime “based on your future behavior.” That makes no sense whatsoever
As a family member of a family who knows what it's like to be living in fear when gun carrying is what I am all ways afraid to open carry but I am very smart in avoiding this everywhere I. Go by putting my gun in a open carry hidden pouch that helps lower any chance of being detained
I'm all about open carry. But carrying a long gun around a shopping center does seem a bit unnecessary. I have a conceal carry and I would probably go into high alert. Just be careful man.
This. Depending on where you live theres a time and a place for open carry. Are you in the woods? Go for it, maybe you are hunting, maybe you just want something to protect you should an angry bear happen upon you. Are you at the local mall or shopping center? Maybe it's time to get your concealed carry. Just because the law says you can does not mean you always should. You may have absolutely no intention of causing harm but unfortunately no one knows that for certain except for you.
“Carrying a long gun around a shopping mall does seem a bit unnecessary.” While I see your point, here is a counter. A person who wants to kill as many people as he can is able to hide his pistol and open fire once he is in position. If you really do carry and train then you know how much easier it is to operate a rifle compared to a pistol. A citizen with a rifle will likely be able to take down the assailant with one single accurate shot. Furthermore, if you’re a criminal and want to hurt as many people as possible, you wouldn’t let everyone know you have a gun. You would conceal it until you were in position. The answer is simple: we need to encourage and train regular law abiding citizens to carry weapons to the point that criminals are so outnumbered and outgunned that they wouldn’t dare try shit.
cherylfowler1234 and this is the reason the world laughs at america! The ending to the video was bullshit, if hes allowed to go dont then stop him from leaving, but being allowed to carry is also bullshit. More guns doesnt make you safe, no guns do!

Well considering the mass shootings recently, would you be a little worried about someone carrying a rifle in public or will you just be the next statistic in a pre-meditated massacre?
Robert Noonan
The law says he can do it though. The majority of people who own assault rifles never shoot anyone. And we’re supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.
@@HighSkiez I fully support people being innocent until proven guilty. And yes, the law says you can open carry in Washington. (In fact, RCW 9.41.270 provides that it is unlawful for a person to carry, exhibit, display or draw any firearm in a manner, under circumstances, and at a time and place that either manifests intent to intimidate another or that warrants alarm for the safety of other persons. A violation is a gross misdemeanor.
This statute is very fact-specific, but in general, merely walking around in public with the gun properly secured in an exposed holster does not constitute a violation. Seattle PI, Casey McNerthney).
However, if asked why you're carrying around a rifle and you respond with "oh i'm just using my second amendment rights to carry this around", it can be a bit suspicious. He also refused to identify himself, and just made it harder on the officers to work with him. I don't agree with him being arrested, that was stupid. I'm pretty confident that it is not reasonable suspicion. It is a lawful activity.
when he’s no longer dentained is he aloud to re load his firearm like immediately after?
He can legally carry loaded as default.

I would be wary, but not openly hostile.

Someone called the police so it is their job to investigate after which he was allowed to leave he was a dick to the cops in my option
And they left his ammo all over the sidewalk
For him to collect his self which I thought was fitting and funny
If you say that you support the second amendment, but then go on to say how you have certain stipulations, then you are part of the problem. You need to be honest with yourself! If you support infringements on how law abiding citizens can bear a firearm then you DO NOT support the second amendment. That's okay, you don't have to support it, but you should at least stop lying to yourself.
Correct!
Though as an addendum, I'd suggest erasing the phrase "law abiding citizen" from your vocabulary, and instead replace it with "innocent citizen." As there are a lot of laws we shouldn't be abiding.
OregonOutdoorsChris I understand where you are coming from. Thanks for the support!
idiot....walking around with an ar is not typical for self defense........be smart
John Chandler An AR is very typical for self defense... many states do not allow a side arm and only allow long rifles.. an AR is probably one of the smaller long rifles one can carry... and as to its type, it is one of the most carried rifles in the country by both law enforcement and citizens...
John Chandler Just because you don't have the balls to exercise your rights do not call this young man an idiot.. you should not have to jump throw any loops to exercise your rights..

Entrapment
James Mykytka the guy was carrying a fucking rifle down the side of a street. Cops are def going to get called. That’s on some bs if you don’t think otherwise
Wallat Baban true, but bob is also correct
Matthew Laxon not necessarily as we don’t know the intentions of the cops. But they were ready to arrest, if they saw he wasn’t checked and good. But he was and then they let him go. Also he parked his car on private property. He could have asked to been escorted to his car and then that would have been the end of it. We don’t know if he actually got arrested or not. The video ends abruptly. If they arrested him for trespassing, he was sort of asking for it before when he parked in it anyways. So no bob isn’t correct lol.
@@wallatbaban416 carrying a firearm isn't illegal.... The cause of the stop was unlawful, The detainment unlawful.... And arrest was unlawful.
open carry is open carry. if you live in an open carry state you don't have to have a reason.

Nothing to hide , show them ID!
Man, I feel conflicted about that. The first six minutes were perfectly fine on both sides. The man had a right to possess his firearm, and obviously some citizens were uncomfortable with him walking down the street with a rifle, which is completely understandable. Thankfully he wasn’t immediately tossed in a cop car in handcuffs, and they just talked to him for a few minutes before letting him go. Then in the last minute of the video they arrest him? Like what? The encounter was going pretty okay until that happened
One thing to note. It is unlawful to detain the man for lawfully open carrying.
My understanding is that the auditor messed up by parking on private property. I think the cops realised this so all they had to do was wait... the guy had no choice to carry an AR onto private property to get to his car and they were then able to arrest him.
@@kevinmcnab5670 He is allowed to park there. He is a paying customer. Now, the store could choose to tell him to leave, but they didn't do that. If they did, he could simply get into his vehicle and leave. Now, if the store wanted to, it can have a policy against him open carrying a firearm. At least one of the stores had a policy not allowing guns inside the store, he respected that and avoided that store. He even confirmed that he was allowed to open carry on the property from one of the employees. There is nothing unlawful about him carrying an AR onto private property unless there is posted and approved signs banning it.

Open carry is allowed where this incident took place, and you got treated like this? They want to know why you are carrying a gun in an open carry locale? And they need to know if it might be stolen?
It's the equivalent of randomly stopping a motorist in order to determine if the car they are driving is stolen.
