📖 GLOSSARY: 📖
► False Vocal Folds: False vocal folds, also called ventricular folds are a pair of thick folds of mucous membrane that are located above the larynx. They close when swallowing to protect the lungs.
► Thin Vocal Folds: When the folds thin out when you go higher in the range. Also known as head voice.
► Falsetto: When the vocal folds are stiff and let out air.
► Thick Vocal Folds = When you are in your chest register (so lower than an A above middle C ish) the true vocal folds are thick, and therefore we call this thick vocal folds.
► True Vocal folds = Vocal cords. They aren't cords at all but folds of tissue and ligament, so we stay clear of you thinking they are like two ropes in your larynx.
► Larynx: the place in the throat where the Vocal Folds / Vocal Cords live.

Thank you for your great reaction. The song is about family getting appart, " love (them) as you did before, keep that love alive, love it like life" the hook. I would recommend you Rona Nishlius Suus ( also Albania ), one of the best vocal presentations in ESC history. The song is about depression. " Më lërni të qaj, se këtë gjë, më së miri di ta bëj tani" - Let me cry, becouse this is the thing i can do best, right now". I m pretty sure you will love her singing.

Lovely vocals. I like the song even if is not my genre.
In the Balkans we have a lot of polyphonic songs that use that beginning sound/ note/ technique (in different ways) either songs for loss, war usually old ones and traditional folklore ones.
However going into the Arab countries you find the same technique used differently.
If you look into traditional Balkan songs I believe you’ll understand better what I mean 😅

A month ago Illyrian aka Albanian is at least 8000 years old with Albanians being direct descendants of Illyrians bloodline and language with Armenian and Hellenic branching from Illyrian as dialects. Published in since backed world renowned linguists that did the study for 10 years backed up by DNA analysis also. Greeks need to bow 🙇 because they speak Albanian and are Albanian blood.
