I recently picked up an SKX011 as my second watch. I love it and it has quickly become my favorite over my GW Samurai. The bezel and case has been a little beaten up, but I love the stock looks. I’ve toyed with the idea of refurbishing with OEM (or very similar) parts. Ti looks great!
How does the case finish/color matchup to a Strapcode oyster bracelet? Titanium is usually a darker grey so was curious if paired with the Strapcode bracelet, the colors would look off.
Oh my God, I tried to order that zelos titanium watch 5 * the day of the launch I think it was the 19th and my credit card kept denying it and by the time I got ahold of somebody on the phone they were sold out. Please Let me know if you want to sell that one Rob!
How many people actually use a divers bezel, let alone actually dive with a dive watch? Probably less than 1% of dive watch owners, let's keep it 100. Dive watches are probably the most sold style tool watch, that isn't actually used as intended. We all desk divers.
Seiko really messed up on the 5KX. All they had to do was upgrade the SKX to an NH35. And maybe add 3-4 new dial colors. But Noooooo.

Nicely done...I’m personally loving orange dials right now, I recently bagged an orange HELM Komodo and it’s become an all time fave.
It is an amazing upgrade. Titanium all the way in my opinion as long as it is not for dress watches.
This one looks great Rob! Super rare to find an SKX with brushed / matte sides of the case but it looks very crisp.

The only improvement I'd make to this is to change the color of the minute hand. That would make it a very practical dive watch.

Most ppl who wear watches use thier phone for time too lol
I use it for timing various things and also just as an outlet for my nervous energy lol.
