Just today received my brand new old stock SKX011J1 from Creation watches . I swapped the rubber strap out for a new SKX jubilee bracelet. I’m loving it 👍🏻

I think it's one of the most beautify designed Seiko has ever made. I love how the subdued orange/gold accents play with the orange dial. They are defiantly meant to work together in perfect harmony CHEERS, Kenny
I’ve owned and sold 3 of these. I go back and forth between a love and hate for the gold. Finally decided to buy and keep one since they’ve discontinued the SKX. I agree the gold accents are more orange but if I could just make one change to this watch I’d throw some black SKX hands on it to match the second hand and black outlines around the hour markers. Those Gold hands are what I go love/hate with.
I spotted this in Dubi Airport last year. It was very nice, and I was tempted to buy it but I didn't have much time to stay so I gave it back to the gentleman at the desk.
@@gautambose I can't tell you what the store was called because it seemed to be an open area we passed on our way through Dubai Airport. It sold jewelery and watches and other small items. So I can't seem to help you any more than that. Hope you can manage to find the seiko skx orange divers you want. Seiko do the new 5kx in a similar style to the old skx if you'd be interested in that one, I have it and it's a smashing watch. It has the 4r36 movement in it so it hacks and hand winds, something the old skx never did. Hope you find what you're looking for. Good luck.
Just opened mine. It is so nice man. I had on my very new Black Bay Red last night and I'm thinking this Orange Lad is gonna be stealing some serious wrist time. I actually really like the wonky zig zag black rubber. Although, Uncle Seiko is going to email me when the beads of rice is back in stock. And the watch feels incredible for the dollar. My only gripe is the crown screws in a little grainy and rough.....Compared to a watch 10x's the price that is.... Amazing watch. Sooo glad I pulled the trigger. Cheers
Managed to get a hold of all 3 of these classic SKX's J model versions in my collection recently. Caught 007 first, 009 second then finally the Orange 🍊 011. GOTTA CATCHEM' ALL !! Like a Pokémon lol
skx 011j or the srpd 59k1 its gonna be my first seiko watch and i dont know which is the better one. The skx is $50 more expensive than the sprd59 where im from.

this model is so scarce now a days, as Seiko stopped manufacturing this Skx’s, go get one before it’s gone. i got mine. happy me.
No it's not scarce you can find it in lots of online places. It's not cheap now for what it is, but it's still available easy enough.

The orange dial looks much better with the steel bracelet than the stock rubber strap.
This may be the doxa alternative I've been after ever since I've read the Clive Cussler books and the film Sahara

The price of SKX011 has gone up so much within the year 2022. I don’t think many watch enthusiasts had anticipated that.

My wrists are 7”, I would say go for it. May be a tad big but the SKX line is probably the best “big watch on small wrists” diver I’ve ever seen
