I used to have 007 years ago but sold it for some reason ( the biggest mistake ever). After watching this review, I now have no choice but to get all 4 of them ( always wanted a yellow and orange dial for my collection, might as well make it be SKX). Hi Rob very cool grouping of the different models! I recently bought a skx011. I love it but the chapter ring is slightly miss aligned. Reached out to creation watches, still waiting on a response. And the yellow is cool as well. You can’t find them new anymore. Their asking $500-$1000 for them used.
I really appreciate the SKX line when you get it for a good price. Stores here in Sweden sell it for way over $400 though so it's a shame that people around here can't get it for a good price.
I have the SKX011. I've been obsessed with the color orange for the past 5 years. OP can you tell me where you got that engineer bracelet on the 011? It looks amazing and I have to buy it!
I did some searching around and the Deep Blue Master 1000 Automatic (in yellow) seems like a decent alternative automatic, although a bit more expensive than the A35. It has the Seiko NH35 movement in it which is the unbranded version of the 4R36. There's also the Deep Blue ProTac Diver (in yellow) which is closely priced to the A35, but has a quartz movement rather than automatic.
Not a ton of yellow dial to choose from really. Orient mako came in yellow (limited) if you find one grab it. Citizen ny0040 also had yellow dial version but same thing, rare, if you see one grab it.
+Random Rob I have a rare yellow dial first generation zodiac oceanaire z08003 coming in. agreed not many yellow dialed watches out there. great video. I only have 1 skx a midsize white dialed skx006. cheers
Some competitor is buying dislikes that are posted by robots. Why anyone would do this is beyond me, but it has happened to James (ItsKibble), Andy Hunter (Adriqos), Simon Crane, and others.
Someone doesn't want anyone to know about the orange SKX. Info about that watch is super rare! I should know I own one and there are zero review videos on it on CZcams. It's almost as if some jealous collector is trying to keep the orange SKX all to himself. I told a Seiko fanatic about the orange SKX and he didn't have a clue it existed.
i have the 011j im 22 and this is my first automatic watch how much are they to service lol i got this watch cause my gshocks only lasted a year but i never take my watch off and i heard the j model skx was the way to go it has the orange dial

I have an SKX 171 and enjoy wearing it.
I have all but the a35, my fav is the 007, I don’t know why the 011 gets such a hard time over the gold accents I wouldn’t change a thing.
Answer to which one: a Sumo. It really is an impressive watch and has to be admired in the metal as I have found photographs do not do it justice.
