Can You Rock The Orange Dial? Seiko SKX011J Review

- I go over my impressions of this orange dialed skx model that I recently picked up pre-owened. I mention in video how the bezel insert is not OEM as the OEM one has a recessed lume pip. I'm planning on changing it out to a ceramic black and gold insert anyway. The seller did not include the OEM resin strap but instead sold it with a new Seiko branded jubilee with folded links.
I was very fortunate to buy a new old stock one of these today. The crown was super tight and sticky. It almost felt like it was gonna break so the seller gave me a good deal. He didn’t want to break it by moving moving it. We both thought it might need a new seal, but after I turned it a couple times to set the minute an hour hand everything loosened and it works perfect! Now I basically have a brand new watch for $220! I absolutely love it. And orange is the creative chakra and lines up with my energy. ✨🧡
I’ve owned my SKX009K for four years now and just this week I received my brand new old stock SKX011J from creation watches. I put it on a stock SKX bracelet from my 009 and love the look and comfort of the bracelet.
Didn't know new old stock was still out there. I had heard of Creation but never checked out their site. Thanks for the tip!

I wear this watch everyday..and when u mentioned the bezel slope inwards it means a lot in construction of the skx..the hardelx is protected a lot by that slope and i see it everyday..even when i bang it off metal studs😊

I was looking at one of these too but the price soon stopped that, so I pretty much had my Seiko 7002 modded with an Orange dial, not the same I know but I can't justify the price of one of these. Looks awesome on that bracelet too.

orange is a warm color contrary to blue which makes it more interesting
