- Just showing you how my make my Perfect Oven Baked Jollof Rice.
For this recipe, bear in mind, I used Basmati rice. Other rice type cooking time will vary. Also, if you’re using long grain rice, you’ll need to parboil your rice first to speed up the cooking time.
Ingredients:
3 cups Rice
3 Medium Size Red Bell Peppers (Tatashe)
1 can of Plum Tomatoes/ 4 Medium Tomatoes
3 Scotch Bonnet (Ata rodo)
1.5 Cup Beef or Chicken Stock or Water
100g Tomato Paste
2 Onions
150ml Vegetable Oil
1 Tbsp Curry Powder
2 Tbsp seasoning or any seasons of your choosing
1.5 Tbsp White Pepper
1 Tbsp Thyme
Bay Leaves
Salt to taste

Hi sisi, please what type of camera and equipment do you use for your videos. I would really appreciate your kind response. Thanks

Hu! When you say a can of plum tomatoes, what size are you referring to?
What cut of beef is that? I need this to be on my table asap.
What seasoning cube was that?
Did I miss a part...what's that dark sauce you added in the rice?
Welcome back Sisi!
Thank you 😊
I love this... I'm going to try it in the microwave. I cook my rice in the microwave. It might just work
How did it go in the microwave, pls share your experience. Thanks
@@celestinaomobamibo745 thanks for asking. It didn't work unfortunately. I think I added too much water because it became all a bit marshy. We still ate it though. Why I think we added too much water is because we had leftover rice that we kept reheating to warm up but in the evaporate the water and left the rice nice and separate....
What of selection of beef did you use
Welcome back
I guess am the person that watches without living a comment
Love the way you peppered the beef
