This. It wasn't a world war until the UK and France pushed all their colonies and themselves into it. It was a Polish-German war before that. Was it justified? My opinion is that the Poles weren't innocent, they annexed part of Czechoslovakia and Lithuania but complain when they get annexed by the USSR and Germany.
@@Arnaere There were military conflicts between Czechoslovakia and Poland in the early 1920's due to them having claims on some of our land. Hungarians also had some claims on some of our land due to the Treaty of Trianon. Hitler made use of these claims during the MĂŒnich treaty and gave Poles and Hungarians "occupation zones" in our country to make it easier for Britain and France to accept (hiding his true intentions). He also promised he would let the rest of Czechoslovakia be. Well, it lasted 3 months, then he annexed Bohemia and made a Slovakian puppet.
The British and French also ignored the Soviet invasion of Poland, while only wanting war with Germany for ding the exact same thing. Hmm, something sounds pretty much like a Jewish led conspiracy.
@@MrHogGamer it was a move to weaken the else too powerful competitor german/austria .. if you ask me .. WW1 was a bad outcome of this kind of political game and the cause of WW2 and yes france and britain had a HUGE foot in the game and cause of WW2
When I played as Iran - as a neutral country turned fascist, I was able to slowly gobble up non-aligned nations all around me and reform the Persian Empire through 1943 because every justification and take over of those countries only produced about 1-2% world tension. And by the time we had actually declared war it had diminished keeping my overall tension at 3-5%. Too low for any nation to really care!

If you wanna ho to war with a non aligned nation you can justify on them and then a democratic nation and as they get guaranteed you just pick other democartic nations since the allies always prefer to guarantee democratic nations.

I just thought of something.
Since guarantees lower world tension, couldn't you do the last strategy all at once (I know this is expensive but bear with me) and remove world tension, allowing you to justify on more places since after you remove the justifications, the net WT will be lower.

That's the point. You justify on nations you don't care about (like Ireland), so the democratic nations guarantee them. That said, I'm not sure the guarantees lower world tension enough for it to actually work.

I found out if you hit over 200 PP for allies to guarantee they will simply choose political choices over guarantees. Also a tip if you are in a multiplayer match you can exploit world tension to join factions early on for instance i had a poland player and romanian player who wanted to join the axis so i declared war on russia boop 40% world tension let them join the faction and remove ware goal. Did this so many times and saved us allot of trouble when for instance the allies tried to pick them off before they could join our faction because of world tension
if you want to glitch it out you can just leave the game after declaring war (while pausing), even if someone guaranteed them they still dont gona join the war, as the AI bugs out and forgets to join, but be careful, after 40% the tension is high enough to join the allies for basicly anyone and you could get dragged into ww2

Another tip Iâve learnt is to improve relations with the allies whilst you justify, it does work but you have to keep an eye on it so as soon as you stop improving relations you start it again
ive had mixed results with it.
Believe it or not, the second scenario happened to me in a single player game. I decided to gobble up Poland in 1937, did anchlus, then tried to demand Slovenia after a failed attempt on the sudetenland. It failed and france made a faction, the "French alliance", with Yugoslavia. You might be thinking, unless you already know, that it would only make the situation worse. It would have, if france didn't immediately join the allies after doing it, effectively leaving poor Yugoslavia alone in a one man faction. Which it was promptly put under new management by me, Italy, and Bulgaria. Had some dank chromium deposits for the maginot tank rush.

honestly ive been trying them out myself but unless the enemy has really bad fighters there is almost no chance of doing realistic damage
You can remove a guarantee of independence by inviting that nation into your faction. If they accept then they will become a faction member which nullifies all guarantees on them. Then you kick them from your faction (which you can do so long as they didnt join any of your wars) and now you are free to justify them. Also after WW2 kicks off the allies tend to stop justifying because they are scared of getting into more fights, though they will still enforce any guarantees they have already made. This is more likely to be the case if you have a big army as they will be scared of fighting you and the axis at the same time, and they only consider your army size, not quality or composition, so its a good idea to deploy all your manpower before you begin justifying as a minor by setting your training unit to highest priority and deploying them before they finish training. i would also recommend improving relations with all of the allies before you begin, I dont know if it helps but maybe if they like you it will make them less likely to want to fight you. They are also much less likely to guarantee if you are at war with the axis as they will see you as an ally in the war and not want to step on your toes. I don't know if justifying through focuses can cause a guarantee but if not then it might be a way to get a justification and then declare war before a guarantee goes out. When justifying I recommend you use submarines to get some naval supremacy and try to take nations farther from you, if you can get colonies all over the world then if the allies guarantee someone you are justifying then you can just justify on someone else, whereas if you are landlocked and they justify all your neighbours or if you cant get enough naval range then you wont be able to expand without fighting the allies or removing the guarantee with invite to faction.

Dustin can you make What Free trade for and what is the diffrent between limited exports or closed economoy.
the difference is 1 you loose resources but get better production and research the higher you go towards free trade and the opposit the closer you go to closed economy
i don't think mass justification is that bad of an idea from some countries perspective, you can horde huge amounts of PP by not doing any focuses and not everything is amazing so if you carefully plan your focus tree and ignore it to horde once necessary you can do a little bit of min/maxing - eventually you're gonna hit a ceiling but that's not really so bad
Last night I was playing a game as England on multiplayer, Germany kept paradropping and I never realized this but he was deleting all my factories after paradropping on every Provence lol

We don't need a video every single day. But what some of us do need, is the information you're trying to spread. Straight to the point and explain the reasons behind them. Otherwise it might aswell be a false truth. Anyways, most of your videos are helpful. They just lack the finishing touch y'know.

I was playing Italy and I was justify war with Austria so i could get Germany early, but then France gives a guarantee to Austria like: Don't try to change history! Or the World will end!!!
Had a game recently where I conquered alot of land and then when the collective allies gave up it gave some of my previously conquered land to other nations. ???
Also if you boost up World Tension with the last method the USA can do their focuses much earlier
But thankfully it's an AI and they aren't really that smart normally
There is an advantage in making the Allies guarantee nations you aren't interested in (specifically as the Axis). The Soviets inevitably go to war with Finland and the Middle East (though Finland is more useful in this case). If you pick Finland, the Baltics, or the Middle East (really only useful if Historical AI is off, or if in multiplayer) you can make the Allies and Comintern risk a war early on.

This can be manipulated playing as Germany too.. as soon as WT rises above 25%, fabricate against Finland and make sure UK has enough PP available to guarantee independence. Inevitably when SU declares war on them, they take on the Allies.. let the war mature for a bit where SU has too much manpower to throw and Allied nations are dwindling with handicapped soldiers, this is the time for Germany to take on the Allies with little to no resistance.
But what will happen if you assign No aggresion pact on country what given indeptence to other and you attack this what have indepedence?
I try it on Poland, but first I sign a non-agression pact with Britain.

How do you do that "tag England" thing? Sorry I'm new, is that a mod or something?
Hit ~ to open the console. Type tag plus the country's tag. For instance the USA has the tag USA(tag USA). England is ENG (tag ENG). If you don't know the tag type in tdebug and put your mouse on the country to get information. This does not work in multiplayer or Ironman.
like marcus said. there are also alot more than just swapping nations, they are called console commands. if on gooddle look up hoi4 console commands and there are hundreds from ignoring justifying war goals to adding manpower and war support. there are almost no limits :)

Another element of the game that I really hadn't considered. I probably won't use it when World Tension is 25% or higher because there seems to be too many variables on how things might work out. But I really appreciate the more in-depth understanding of how World Tension works in a practical manner.
Dustin, I do have a question that is probably stupid. When I invaded Poland after signing the Ribbentrop-Molotov treaty, I ran into a situation where I wasn't moving fast enough and the Soviet Union invaded Western Poland. Some of my Provinces were owned by me but they contained Soviet troops and I couldn't get them out of my land. I didn't want to declare war on them and there was no Peace Process since I probably did not accrue a high enough War Score. Also, Polish troops occupied two of my Provinces and I couldn't attack them. So I was stuck. You may not know the answer to this weird situation but I thought that I'd ask.

As to your problem its with the communism ideology, any territory they capture or liberate while at war the keep until a peace deal is settled so either you need to declare war and take it back, get peace with the allies or get russia to somehow change ideologys âș

96 hours into the game and I can get the northern light achievement, but not win as republican spain. Is there any way to do it without spamming troops? The only two tactics I know are cut the nationalists in the north east, and then try to cut them off in the south, though this results in German tanks capturing Madrid with my long exposed frontline. In a war of attrition, seems impossible with superior German tanks and Italian infantry, whilst the soviets jack off doing nothing. I can carry the republic with 3-4 soviet infantry though, so don't know what to do.
Ask to the Republican Spain's AI, it always win in my games
There are multiple scummy ways of doing that achievement.
Either Turn non-fascist AFTER choosing the fascist side during the war.
do the "put your troops into boats while the civil war starts"
or retreat your entire army into barcelona as a deathstack, hold that at all costs, Nationalist Spain will get invited into the Axis eventually, hope for the AI allies to win WWII. (should be easy because the axis will waste themselves onto your lines, losing a lot of manpower, unless Japan stomps in the East)

Yea those methods I have tried except the last one, but I want to do it the legit way, and looking at the global achievement stats showing it is easier than the northern light achievement according to the civil war one makes me grind my teeth out

The Japanese invasion of China wasnât an Operation Barbarossa style invasion, but rather a small and accidental skirmish (Marco Polo Bridge incident) that devolved into a full scale war. In the initial phase of the war, it wasnât like the full strength of the Japanese army and air force were deployed. In fact, there were attempts to establish a ceasefire after the incident. It took some time before the whole affair turned into a full scale war, and the debuff and the âescalate war in Chinaâ decisions are meant to simulate that.

Another way of doing that is by making a nation, you want to invade, communist or fascist. The Allies do not guarantee those nations. However, Italy or the USSR could guarantee but they are not that much of a problem.

you can probably only do this for one nation per playthrough, but you can always boost the popularity of communism or fascism in a country, and if they switch over to one of those ideologies, the allies won't guarantee them. But it takes a really long time.

I really just wish they can remove the US guarantees in South America, which makes it impossible to play especially with nations such as Bolivia or Chile.
If you declare war on a South American country as a South American country, USA wonât invade you
Play in South America. Unless the USA reaffirms monroe they wonât care as long as you attack those in your theatre
Or you can just block guarantees (in single player) to have fun conquering
My last game fell apart because of a gaurantee of independence, by Romania, of all nations. Because nice little Romania decided to side with the Soviets, and my Fascist Iran, fresh out of Iraqi and Afghani conquests, wanted to go after Turkey, who were gauranteed by Romania, who, promptly joined the war I had justified against them (despite a non-aggression pact I had them sign, which was just paper), and then called in their big brother Soviet Union to come shove their jackboot down my throat. Sometimes perfectly good games fall apart because of plain old bad luck.
You can attack any nation without guarantees if you are not in a faction and have not caused personally over 10% world tension. Doesnât matter if the total world tension is 100%. Watch my video how to avoid guarantees if you want to see more details.

The Allies parents the entente certainly caused it, Marshall plan/EU worked/works much better.
England, UK same thing, they just call themselves that to justify past conquests.
I'm not saying they were directly the ones that started World War II after all they did tell Germany that's the red line don't do it.

Well today I got the most luckiest game... I managed to pretty much take over all of europe without dragging the allies into the fight... Germany became an ally to me I was Austria-Hungary and pretty much puppeted Italy, France, Poland, made Poland annex the baltic states except Estonia and Romania is a puppet and other states I didn't name is annxed, only countries that is left democratic is denmark and the benelux countries

Then the Allies will not Guarantee them.

Actually there is no need for a Coup most of the Time.
Some of the Majors are really good Protected.
But most Minors will actually just run a Referendum after they reach 50% and will then become Fascist all by themselves.
It does take Long of course.
But to begin with its the method used when your already further in the Game.
And especially Germany has the Political Power to Spare :)
Just tag switch over to the allies, give them some political power and make them guarantee south American nations cause there's really no point inside there
