Hope never became the white Phoenix of the crown, she was just a white Phoenix. Only Jean was the white Phoenix of the crown. Even in this story, it was Jean as the Phoenix who gave Hope the Phoenix portion

See the problem is that in Grant Morrison's Here Comes Tomorrow, the comic you're referencing, it talks about Jean's pure connection with the Phoenix and the she's the one one who can attain that power, but in X-Men: Hope it's established that Hope can as well and is destined to. Everyone overlooks that for some reason. Not sure why.

Dude, literally the phoenix five, until harassed by the Avengers, were doing good things and in control, the Avengers literally made everything on their power to make them freak out and turn villains, and once the damage was done, it was all Cyclops fault. Cyclops is the hero of the story, the rest the villains, they could had helped him transfer slowly the entity to hope and train her, like they did in the end, but not, they had to push the entity possessed people to the brink of insanity, call it "Cyclops villain ark" is wrong, he was the hero of the story. Every bad thing that happens in this story is the Avengers' fault. They've never stood up for the X-Men and mutants. They didn't listen to Cyclops at all. The whole "Hosting the Phoenix will drive you mad" thing was disproven by Rachel Summers, who WAS IN THE STORY. The Avengers shattered the Phoenix, then kept attacking when the X-Men were doing good things. They forced the fight. Had they trusted the X-Men, Hope would have still wound up with the Phoenix, with Cyclops watching over her. HE knows what it can do, and would have likely guided her through restoring mutants, then sending/sealing it away. Same ending, much less death and destruction.
The Avengers are the villains here. Not the X-Men. Not Cyclops.

Captain America goes around representing and standing by the United States, while doing nothing to stop the rampant genocide of mutants by the US. They show up to the mutant island apparently interested in peaceful negotiations, and yet they brought a helicarrier stocked with missiles and guns. Then they turn around and criticize Cyclops for "putting the childrens' lives in danger". The Avengers' attempts to stop the Phoenix Force from ever meeting with Hope (and possibly saving the mutant race) is the entire reason it was split up and given to people it shouldn't have gone to in the first place. Maybe the Avengers aren't outright villains to the X-Men, but they are at the most charitable willful bystanders in the constant anti-mutant terrorism and genocide, while also defending and upholding the institutions that inflict that terrorism and genocide in the first place. Sending that team of kids, including Scott’s brother against Moiras wishes and then wiping there existence from everyone’s mind, allowing Danger to be a slave, trying to force himself into Scott’s mind against his will, only to be forced out by Emma in X-men legacy. Also Reed Richard’s himself even called out the Avengers hypocrisy. The X-men had made the world objectively better for all as the Phoenix 5, despite them even being that way because of Iron man. The Avengers kept poking the bear then yes, eventually one by one they succumbed to darkness. However, and this is key. While everyone is fighting Scott and Emma, she begs Scott to just destroy everything with her and start from scratch. Seeing she’s lost her mind and under attack from both the X-men and the Avengers at this point. He takes her out and absorbs her power. The avengers hipocrisy, their stupidity and arrogance to say they were doing the right thing aboht something rhey NEVER FACED BEFORE AND KNEW VERY LITTLE ABOUT or had very biased informantion sources (aka ultra jealous and hypocrite Wolverine...) made THEM the villains. But the avengers could no wrong! Their MOVIES were making big bucks and their, nearly unknow until said movies, characters were at all time high in popularity...while the xmen were in a severe decline...then you add that Disney and Marvel wanted to KILL the characters to screw Fox over....its pretty obvious the reasons for the sheer BS of the whole arc. Push forwards the avengers,.screw over the xmen....And when it FAILED? They tried again with the cheap mutants made by space gas from the moon....Just to fail again...

When Age of apocalypse came out, it showed the importance of Charles Xavier. The whole message of that run was that Xavier was not just a good man, he was the embodiment of something good that avoided the world to become a terrible place where only the strong would survive.
Years later, the writers started deconstructing, demolishing this idea. First Onslaught, then Cassandra Nova, then this whole mess about the first secret x men team who got wiped out from both the world and everyone's memories, the Illuminati thing, etc, they increasingly made Xavier an unreliable and duplicitous man. Now in the krakoa run he basically admitted that Magneto was right all along. They really did Xavier dirty.

@@haroldcruz8550 you are right in pointing out that training teenagers to be a paramilitary force with political ideas isn't something that someone sane in his mind would do. All adults with common sense would think that way. However, that's a comic to entertain teenagers, so you can push the laws of realism into the superhero genre only to a certain degree.
Actually,a man jumping from roofs in a bat suit being a vigilante with the help of a masked minor would be deemed crazy and outlaw in itself. Same for Bucky and Captain America... Bucky wasn't adult when he was fighting as a soldier.
      But that's superhero comics logic.
The point in this case is another thing though, that is: assuming -based on comics logic- that Xavier was a good guy because of a dream that was needed to avoid the worsening of the world, the writers in the end made him spiral down morally through the years. And now the first Xavier isn't the Xavier we got today.

When everyone else has fallen under Mastermind's illusions, Scott comes to his senses and figures out the game Mastermind is planning. By himself, he figures out what to do. Formulate a plan, fight off the deceived X-Men, and get Rogue to Professor X. He even saves the day and has a happy ending with Madelyne. That WAS the SCOTT SUMMERS I miss. Why do all the comic book writers have to be deconstructionists these days. It's sad. After Scott left Maddie, he seemed to be more reactive than decisive, and Wolverine was rapidly taking over as the most popular X-Men.
