tonys next suit will be galactus buster armor and it will be the size of 1000 earths. its arc reactor is a sun and its repulsor beams are powered by beyonders on steroids.

A better solution for the Terrigen Mist attack would have been for Magneto to simply blow it away by spinning metal pieces like fans behind himself, followed by a line of how an attempt to _gas_ him of all people would piss him off - if there was any capacity left to hate Nimrod more than he already does.

Feilong isn't a mutant, his parents were and he has an inferiority complex because of it

The end of the krokoan age is so depressing. I feel like its a change no one wanted, reverting back to a very tried status quo, and isnt even going out with a proper event/send off.
The krokoan age made the X-men into villain's that want there own eveil meta gala every few months. Some people love the clone saga I get it, but its time for a reset.

Not gonna lie, they should have just replaced Fei Long with Bastion because their motives and methods are nearly identical but Bastion is getting all the exposure now. Plus they're both pink middle aged dudes with white hair.
Bastion wouldn't serve Nimod and is too focused on hunting mutants to mess with Tony. Fei long and Bastion's goals are too different from each other.
@@kappadarwin9476 Recasting characters would naturally mean reworking nuances of the plot. For starters the whole Nimrod lazy Sentinal City subplot would be scrubbed because its just an execuse for battle scene filler anyway and adds nothing to the overarcing plot. Sabastion is a classical mastermind arctype so having him buying out Stark industries and repurpose it to serve an organisatin like Orchis fits with his MO.
As it stands though, you can tell the writer doesn't know how to end this story arc which is why you've had it needlessly drag on beyond Orchis being defeated.

I mean, innovation and discovery is a thing, though. So, while adamantium was very much the strongest metal for a very long time, it doesn't mean that something can't come along and knock it out of the top spot. In fact, it makes sense that something eventually would do that. To me, at least.
That being said, I can see why someone would potentially call it lazy writing 😅

True adamantium (Cap's shield) might still be stronger. The spider sense bit is totally an ass pull though.
Marvel basically wrote themselves into a corner by creating Adamantium in the first place. "How are characters supposed to defeat this indestructible metal? I know we'll introduce an even more indestructible metal. Genius!"
At least they made this metal rare unlike adamantium, i mean Tony struggled to get enough for a armor and had to get help from a outside source to get it

Yeah fr. Like metal doesn't fold cuz it hits a harder metal. Wolverine would have to place the force necessary behind that hit. It's just a lack of basic science for a "cool" moment. Lazy writing degrading their own lore for a cheap "shocking" moment.

5:42 Rob you glanced over the better point you could have made. Mysterium actually was strong enough to withstand the claws and force them to lose their shapes integrity. Steve's shield wouldn't have forced the claws to bend just kinda "glance" off.

The more godlike metals they add, the more they feel watered down they feel.
Tony didn’t really need the sentinel buster. It was a lot of work for no reason. His normal smaller mysterium armor suit is basically invincible. He could just speed blitz the sentinel armors and then fly into their arc reactors and come out unscathed.

not being able to cut through something is one thing, but when the Adamantium bent when it hit the Mysterium, that was just a little weird....
Yeah, that was really dumb. Adamantium doesn't magically lose structural integrity or fundamentally alter in its properties because it encounters something even stronger. It just doesn't cut it. Even Black Panther's claws still left a mark on Cap's shield. Neither person's metal was shattered or pierced.

Unless they come out and state that Mysterium is actually alive on some level or has some kind of magical property that allows it to disrupt other metals, i dont see it? maybe like a cross between caps shield/Logans true adamantium and arctic vibranium could dot that?

Don't spend too much time or effort to enshrine this silliness by making it make mystical sense (unless maybe it comes out that that wasn't truly adamantium claws, but an imitation maybe. They're rushing to meet a timeline, cutting corners, and some forgettable missteps happened. I'd say take the lumps and do better post-restart.

Good point about Gary Duggan's weak prose and dialogue. He can craft decent scenes but subtext and dialogue are not his strengths. His journeyman style works for non epic stories though.

Rob, with due all respect, allow me to do some corrections:
1. The comicbook story relevant to the current events is "Resurrection of Magneto", not "The Trial of Magneto"
2. Feilong was birthed to mutant parents, but he's a mutate himself, not a mutant. If I remember correctly, he experimented on himself to gain his powers.
3. Although Tony and Emma did not start like an actual couple, I think they have started having feelings for each other (I'd love to see them staying together after the Krakoan Era, however that seems unlikely)
