You should do a story how bs the new dc Justice League is. And how u can watch the first part for free then u have to pay 20 bucks for the second. Like that's ridiculous. Second Coming was the greatest time to be an X-Fan. X-Force was so good before and after this event and Cyclops didn't give a damn. This and Thanos Imperative were peak
anything after that was somewhat let down, definitely one.of if not the best Xmen story arc.
@@enishiyukishiro6751 Sadly true, Five Lights arc ended up forgetful as Marvel only remembers Hope & Oya. Avengers vs X-Men was cool but then got kinda weird. The entirety of Schism was stupid as hell imo. Then Marvel tried to delete the X-Men and replace them with the Inhumans which everyone hated

That Rick Remender Run of X Force is some of my favorite X Men books ever, and I've been reading them since the early 90s.

To be fair, the Heroes Don't Kill rule is more of a DC thing. Most Marvel Heroes have a body count. I'm pretty sure all of the X-Men have pretty high body counts.
Mostly X-men don't kill Humans because of the Xavier initiative. They can kill other mutants if need to, but Humans would just give them more sticks to the fire. That's why Nightcrawler was horrified.
What heroes are you talking about? Because when I think of the top heroes at marvel - Spider-Man, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, X-Men, they don’t kill. Do The Avengers kill? I actually don’t know
@@tristintaylor3090cap fought in a war. The fantastic four song generally fight people they’d be able to kill and Daredevil has killed before. Spider man is the only one with a serious no kill rule like Batman but he also isn’t a lunatic about it like batman
@@tristintaylor3090 Daredevil has a pretty high bodycount, he has killed a bunch of The Hand and used to rule one of the realms of Hell. Spider-Man has killed some humans but most of his murders are aliens. All of the Avengers are killers, most of them were soldiers or assassins. Even Iron Man's first movie has him killing a ton of people. Cyclops and Wolverine are both sociopath level killers, even Nightcrawler has Assassin Monks that follow him.
@@tristintaylor3090 they generally try not to kill, but that doesnt mean they have a no kill rule. daredevil has killed before, sometimes more of an accident. i mean the illuminati were blowing up other earths during the incursions lol cyclops has killed professor X like 3 times lmao pheonix has killed a bunch of people. reed richards wouldnt hesitate to kill people if it was the only logical choice. hulk obiously has hurt and killed alot of people

This is Rogue's 2nd (or 3rd) time actually absorbing numerous mutant powers simultaneously and fighting Nimrod. Uncanny X-Men 194 she took Colossus, Nightcrawler and Kitty Prides powers and took on Nimrod when he was hunting Juggernaut. Then again in Uncanny X-Men 204, but that could be seen as a continuation of the fight.
Dude what a cliff hanger!!! Can't wait for the conclusion. I want the black and white video abt how Bastion reforms & Archangel returns from the start of the X-Force run!

Wow, nice video. I really enjoy your videos. The way you speak in your videos has a way of just making the time fly by. Honestly, I was a bit sadden when this video ended because it felt short, maybe 7-8 minutes tops. Until I looked at the time of this video, almost 30 minutes. Then, I thought wow, Rob really has a gift and he works so hard to put out these amazing videos. The way you speak about these comics, anyone can easily tell you have a real passion for this and shows. Making 30 minutes seem like barely 5 is an amazing ability so, thank you for yet another great video. Subbed for life.
I would love a video series on this X-Force run at least Messiah War (remastered, I think you did them when they were coming out back in the day).
Second Coming was always my favorite X-Men story. It was like an X-Men version of Avengers: Endgame with the way the stakes were cranked to 11. I also like that it felt as though it was written like it was meant to be the last X-Men story to be told

Wow! This was amazing! I really like Cyclops when he adopts the kill if necessary mentality. The Wolverine and Rouge surviving the explosion with Wolverine’s healing factor was really cool artistically. Nightcrawler is a great priest. I think his sacrifice says tons about his character. I think Hope has healing powers and can augment the powers of others so I’m sure she could have helped Nightcrawler have more strength.

X-Men97 got into comics again. Got me ordering the whole Graphic hardcover series
Cable is from the future. Hasnt future Forge or someone designed a mutant cloaking device to hide mutants yet? Maybe they have and I missed it in all these X-men vs sentinel stories, but it seems like that would be a good starting point…
It wouldn't really work since Bastion or at least one part of him is from the future and has history with Cable.

Love the art styles in this looks so different from the normal stuff I see from Marvel.
I love the idea of the enemy being stoked about taking out the teleporter only to realize they've pissed off it's older brother who immediately proceeds to fold them.
They may not have the best relationship, but an overprotective older sibling is already dangerous 😂
Ariel is a nutant: While her race, can teleport between doors, she had a power none of her species had: The ability to persuade people, like Gambit can but at a lower level.
Ten years back I read house of m and along with this trilogy. Even tho we’re losing. This too was a great run!!!!!

Second Coming is probably my favorite X-Men crossover of all time (way better than any in Krakoa honestly) the build up and payoff was superb everything was clicking at that moment story wise across the X books.
Killing in this story and X-Force felt justified mutants were nearly extinct after M-Day and had their backs against the wall. Scott/Logan had no other choice, Logan kept X-Force after this. I honestly can’t recommend this story enough if you haven’t read it go read it and come back before the video. This is also during the Utopia Era which is the best era of X-Men in my mind.
Thier new teleporter is about as useful as having telekinesis but only being able to use it to crush beer cans.
You just described basically 60s Jean Grey.
Post House of M Magik is pretty much the best Mutant Teleporter that you need or want in your team. She can teleport several groups of people, she can travel in space and time. She can even use her Stepping disc as offensive weapon by teleport parts of enemies's body from their bodies. Like she did to Dark Beast (a bit more evil Beast from another dimension)

one thing to note is Rogue still has the Bone claws, and her powers work of an anchor proximity system now, if she's ever touched you and you get near her she can choose to absorb your lifeforce.
also she is one of the few Mutants that has never died in the age of Krakoa, cause Marvel didn't want to toy with what might happen if Rogue is reborn, cause her DNA keeps a record of every power she has ever had
