Idk if anyone else noticed this but the little girl mentioned in the letter at the beginning of the movie that her parents "went to heaven", but she asked the uncle "where did mommy and daddy go?"

The only excuse I can think of is that she's distracting him from her sketchy plotlines to get him laid (instead of trying to get him a relationship lmao).

“aren’t you raising an orphan” is something i’ve quoted to my mom probably a million times now and i still haven’t told her the context of the line. it’s just a weird inside joke now
(necessary context: my mom is my adoptive mom. i’m an orphan as my bio parents gave me up as a newborn and i was even in a literal orphanage for a while as i’m not from the US. anyway, i was adopted and i still make orphan jokes about myself because they’re objectively peak comedy)

I love how the black woman is basically just there to be a sassy black woman. The main character’s female band-mate is just there to temporarily look like his wife for one scene. Despite wearing glasses, the main female lead apparently doesn’t need them at all.
