If you know there's a lot of content of a particular type and you want to show people there is, how would you do so without interacting with it, outside of just telling people to do their own research? It's a complete nothing-burger argument to use as an attempt discredit with.

Community notes are almost always better than the posts, especially when Twitter blue posts get priority.
With car theft, not only is there a victim, but if the car is found, the victim has to pay out of the nose to get it out of impound. I've seen it twice recently where a person who's car was stolen racked up hundreds of dollars in impound fees because they got the notice that it had been found late, and those fees build up more every day. Saw someone in my own town got the call that their stolen car was dumped in another city four hours away, no way of getting there to get their vehicle back and owing over $500 already.

I rarely correct grammar, but you seem like type to care. It's "whose car was stolen," not "who's car was stolen." Autocorrect even grabbed that for me once I typed it out. "Who's" is short for "who is," whereas "whose" denotes ownership.
Impounds absolutely suck. Even not accounting for the matter of punishing victims, they're a slap on the wrist for the rich and potentially devastating for the poor. My brother had his car impounded a few months ago and he straight up doesn't make enough money to get it back, so he had to just abandon it there and get a new one.

I was actually looking at articles about Saturns poles a few days ago! Scientists were able to recreate a similar result to the hexagon storm in a test they did but got a shape with 9 sides rather than 5, and were (as far as I know from the article I read) unable to get an actual hexagon. If by twitter acquisition, you meant twitter being bought, then no. Community note existed, just with different name, even before edgelord Elon daddy issues Musk bought it. So even that one last good thing of twitter didn't happen under his ownership. But I bet he totally loves getting all the credits for it.
I'm pretty sure that feature have been around ven before Musk bought the company.
@@remliqa Yes and No. The notes feature was there but a note had to be placed by a Twitter employee and mostly "fact checked" posts by citing news sites with very obvious Left leaning bias. When Elon acquired the company he changed the notes feature to be usable by anyone with an account and uses a voting system to determine if a note should be displayed, he also rebranded it as "Community Notes."

I also find it ironic that Elon Musk and his precious right wing sycophants still get railed on by "Community Notes" even after the change, some say even harder. I think the point the pirate meme was trying to make is that monarchies are built upon generations of people groomed for the job, like a captain of a ship passing down the ship and experience across generations, while a democracy is at the whims of numerous elected people not all may be competent or able to work together but um... monarchies historically were incompetent as well as they were built upon nepotism, but that aside the fact he used a pirate hat for the captain a symbol associated with a crew that elects a captain by democratic means completely threw off his post and made him look even more like an idiot.
@@renmcmanus It was a multi-faceted issue, but the fact they wanted money is what led them to this democratic system where all are equal, on the kings ship they would have been payed a pittance but on one voyage aboard a pirate ship where they make the rules and don't have a king to pay tribute to, they could retire and live in relative luxury for the rest of their lives, this isn't even mentioning the pirate ports which were legitimate towns albiet run down ruled by the same democratic system, plus most pirates were originally privateers who did the same thing under the crown during wartime, when the war ended they were given poor paying navy jobs which were a far cry from the killing they were making as privateers, so they had legitimate reason to hate the crown after rewarding their loyalty like this, in truth they were a type of revolutionary and were treated as such as they broke off from the royal fleets and began attacking them it's why the crime charged at pirates was treason, they definitely believed in democracy just not for noble reasons. I highly reccomend CPG Grey's two videos on the subject but mostly the quartermaster one as that's the one that tackles the economic system of pirates and why democracy was used onboard and is more well researched and put together than I could ever explain in a comment section.

@@renmcmanus Money was definately the driving factor, but you also have to remember that working conditions and punishments on a navel/merchant ship were usually awful, because the officers were backed up by whatever country the ship belonged to. Now on a pirate ship, officers are obliged to be lighter on their men because there's nothing stopping an unhappy crew from mutinying. So I think it'd be fair to say that most pirates probably did support democracy, but out of self interest more than any moral principles.
@@renmcmanus It seems like you're splitting hairs a bit, they believed in democracy, they fought for it. They risked their lives so they wouldn't answer to their former leaders, just because it was in their own self interest doesn't diminish that. In every revolution, people generally only side with it if it benefits them. The US founding fathers were the ones with the most to gain from independence, and they did very well for themselves out of it. Does that mean they weren't real democrats? Necessity is always what drives ideology, people tend not to risk their lives overthrowing governments unless they feel they need to.
And regarding the label of pirates as common thieves, it does seem a bit unfair. Given that most pirates were just doing what they'd done when they were part of a navy without giving a cut to their monarch and sometimes robbing him too. So I don't think turning pirate could really be seen as anything but a morally lateral move on the part of the average sailor. I'm not saying they were good people, but revisionism works both ways. Saying that they were dirty punderes and therefore could not have been idealists implies that they were "the bad guys" and the people fighting them were "good guys".

@@supercharged5-39I suspect they’re referencing Kotaku posting an article about the Persona 5 music when Joker was added to Smash saying it contained the r slur for learning disabilities (which wouldn’t even make any sense with the rest of the song and it’s hard to tell but people generally think the actual line was “retort it” which makes a lot more sense with the game’s themes). What makes it worse is that the writer they assigned the article to wanted to be a good journalist and wait for more information and a response from Nintendo before publishing it but Kotaku released it anyway because they just wanted to get it out early, probably so it would be “hot” still.

@thomaslacroix6011 he, like most conservatives in Canada, is running on the platform of Trudeau bad, he is considered extreme right since he has been pictured many times supporting the Freedom convoy "protests" in which truckers, neo nazis, and other right wing nutjobs decided to block off all of downtown Ottawa (federal capital of Canada), honking throughout all hours of the day, in order to protest needing vaccinations to cross into the US (most truckers were already vaxxed, and this was a law both in Canada not to let them out, but also in the US not to let them in). It was kind of Canada's January 6th, but it lasted for months and was just truck horns and no passage as opposed to a raid of the whitehouse
