I'm in between Millennial and Gen Z. I feel so in between two groups. I don't get younger Gen Z'ers or Millennials, and I also simultaneously get all of the sh* society has dumped on both generations. I'm 24 and I don't own anything. As a matter of fact, nobody in my age group I know does. We're all struggling. The young one's are all falling prey to full blown fascism and Andrew Tate style nonsense, and the millennials are all already broken people, having been veterans of these ridiculous oil wars and also being at their ages, but effectively in the same boat we are. What's worse, is that a lot of the millennials had boomer parents that kicked them out on the streets, so a good chunk of them are homeless or on drugs or both now too. Kinda sucks, to say the least.

Also most of the time unless you’re meaning to make your account about mental illness and support/awareness for it you don’t list them, unless it’s something like autism where it could be necessary information when interacting with you. Most of the time though when people self-diagnose it’s so it can be brought up to a doctor because it’s causing issues, or so they can find a way to solve the issues themselves, or simply just to put a name to why they are the way they are as a sort of coping mechanism for bullying, abuse, or past trauma related to their symptoms of the disorder. For example people who grow up with undiagnosed autism or ADHD or other learning disabilities are labeled as “the weird kid”or “the dumb kid” and bullied or chastised by their parents. When you realize it’s because there’s something physically wrong with your brain, it makes you feel better and helps you cope knowing that you’re not just “stupid” or “slow” or “weird” and there are ways to help with the symptoms that brought on those labels.
