- Courtney Clenney appeared in court Thursday morning for what was supposed to be a motions hearing, but Florida state prosecutors ended up hitting the former OnlyFans model with an additional felony charge. Clenney is accused of killing her boyfriend, stabbing him to death, and was originally arrested for second-degree murder. Now, she’s facing an additional charge of interception of wire communications, in which her attorneys entered a not guilty plea on her behalf.

They dislike what she stands for. It's interesting how hesitant detectives were to recommend charges in the case, 8 months to 1 year delay. And then now the DA has decided she is public enemy number one. Just interesting perspective on how the system really works. Suddenly she is recognized as this serious problem that needs to be adjudicated, when prior they could have cared less and didn't pressure the detectives to investigate further. Only after public outcry was anything done to her.

But it's something that occurred despite the fact he didn't go to police to report it. I sort of think in a murder case, the jury should be allowed to hear she did use a knife on him before in Vegas. Allow the defense to use the same defense against the claim on the stand. Let them say he attacked her in Vegas and she had to defend herself. Sounds fair to me. Let the jury hear the full accounting of it and decide for themselves.

The jury might believe she defended herself if she had just told a straight up story of self-defense against a battery/attack. Instead she tried to game the system and claim she threw the knife, which the medical examiner already debunked. For that reason she may be found guilty for a confusing defense.

The judge is like a referee in a way who is trying to keep the decorum on both sides of the isle and she clearly states that for the prosecution and defence. As for the prosecution in this case, they have also been very snarky since the beginning. I remember when Courtney was first arrested, the prosecutor was snarky and targeted her parents accusing them of helping her out and that is exactly what this new charge against her and her parents is, which is targeted and baseless with no evidence to support their claim! It’s a new trend in Biden’s America where the DOJ is weaponized!
