- Judge Jennifer Dorow ripped convicted eye drop killer Jessy Kurczewski before she sentenced her to prison on Friday. Judge Dorow stated she did not believe the convicted killer's story of what happened to victim Lynn Hernan and slammed her, saying she targeted her deceased friend. Kurczewski murdered Hernan by poisoning her with eye drops.

Nor do I. I've seen too much, heard too much, experienced too much at this age. I worry for those who do trust others easily.
It's pretty sad. I remember a couple years ago I took a job working for a senior lady. She had a lot of health issues and honestly she was difficult to work for because she wanted to talk incessantly even though she required oxygen. I appeased her and would listen to her and engage with her. Then she complained that she needed someone that would just help her and would not talk to her because she cannot use up her oxygen supply. It was very confusing to me because she talks so much I didn't know what to do what was I supposed to be mute?? Nevertheless, she told me about a prior case with a woman that tried to get her hands on her financial paperwork and change ownership or the title of her home into the girl's name. She quickly fired her. Hopefully she found someone that's honest like me because I was stunned to learn that somebody would try to steal someone's home like that

This judge is the kind of woman children should look up to and want to be like. Not the vacant shells or. .. influencers on social media. She embodies every quality I would hope all parents want to be the influence for their daughters. Intelligence, compassion, drive, beauty, humanity... this is who we should see as an influencer.

It's bizarre to me that Jessy went ahead and read those clearly fake "letters" by the victim, Lynn. A year or so ago 2 of her attornies asked to withdraw from her case over the fact that she was caught trying to get a friend outside of jail to forge letters & an audio tape of Lynn making these same so-called confessions. Jessy isn't very bright. It's always entertaining when a narcissist can't see their own glaring mistakes.

Think the judge said the medical examiner said it’s not normally tested for; but for some reason she did. Seems like she’d had a case with it before. NOT POSITIVE
@@juliapearce4380 The Medical Examiner thought the scene looked staged. She had Valium crumbled on her face and chest, but not in her system. The M.E. is the hero in this case. Lynn's loved ones too for taking their suspicions to the detectives who listened to them. That's unfortunately not always the case.
Did you miss the part where Judge Dorow recaps that although this substance has established connections to SA [n: and robberies] mediated by adulterated drinks, it is not routinely tested for in suspicious death cases. The hospital didn't even know to test for it when Lynn was still alive and could describe her symptoms. I hope this conviction will raise awareness among the legal and medical professions.
As the judge said if hadn't been for a very clever professional that thought to look for the drug in eye drops, this evil person may have gotten away with this. As in most autopsies it isn't standard to screen for this drug.

I’m very impressed with this judge. She is very intentional with everything she does or says. I love that she is so transparent with her decisions or processes of making decisions in trials. I love that she’s embracing cameras in the courtroom and how this helps the judicial system.

For what?? There’s nothing in this trial that the mother did anything illegal or against the law to be prosecuted for. Believe me, if she could be charged, the DA would have done so. I watched the entire trial & the only time it was even speculated that the mother may have been involved was at the bank. However, it was never proven that it wasn’t Lynn, & that it was in fact the mother of Jessy.

Judge Dorow saw right through her and I am glad she sentenced her like she did. IMO Jessy's mom was an enabler in all of this and possibly even aware of what Jessy was doing.

It's her ashes. They probably thought they could hold them for payment by Lynn's loved ones.
They are crooks. Sounds like my dad's side after he passed from cancer they took his ashes from me (the daughter) so I took them to court & they were ordered to give them to me.🤬 I'm still not sure if they are his ashes till this day or just fire pit ashes, but their the ones who will have to live with that. Ppl r EVIL.
@@chelsjo4315I have my moms ashes, and i think you could tell the difference between human remain ashes and pit fire ashes.. also did he have any metal in his body from surgery? My mom did and there are screws and bolts in her ashes from things she had in her body. If that helps any!
@@ppw2393they would have gone to the estates executor, which was Jessy, according to the last will that was filed. However, there was never any indication of where they were to go to begin with.

For everyone saying/commenting on Judge Dorow talking so much, she is responding to all nonsense put forth from Jessy in her letters, please know every comment Judge Dorow talks about goes in the “ Judges sentencing remarks” so when Jessy files her appeal, the appeals court will read these remarks from the trial judge. So.. yes Judge keep on talking ( for the appeal process to be denied)!!!!

I think that’s the premise to this judge’s thorough explanation. This is so she can’t poke holes into future appeals and say she didn’t get a fair trial.
I love judge Dorrow. I love how she explains in detail the case and even tells the defendant how and why the verdict was against her,even though she is in no obligation to do so. She handles and runs her court and trials before her with very very well professionalism and fairness. She does her homework and really digs deep in making sure nothing was missed in all her cases. Especially this one and the one and only Brooks case.
