This has to be one of the best trailers I've ever seen.
On of my all time favorite movies.
A movie that urgently needs reappraisal - and a 4K Blu ray edition.
this has to be martin Scorseses most underrated film along with the king of comedy.
i have yet to watch this movie, but i think this is one of Scorsese's most underrated films (as i tend to hear) cuz Hollywood probably wants him to have the reputation of making violent crime films, when he in fact was given the talent to broaden his storytelling ways. Hope that made sense

I'll give this a watch, but De Niro doesn't come across to me as an actor for musicals.
there's too much improv in the movie. some scenes go on and on. and his character is just not likable enough. i love scorcese…and minnelli and deniro…but it goes on way too long.
