Martin has such a unique and full way of telling a story... I've seen a lot of his movies and he's made me fall in love with watching cinemas like no other. I thought this movie was gonna be about Bob but Harvey pleasantly surprised me and I loved his work here. Lord, how I loved Martin's cameo above all!
Grateful to these bunch of legends for this masterpiece.

Crazy to think that this was only one of Scorceses first movies, out of a fantastic list of filmography, that hardly won any awards but if we're released today would be instantly nominated for an Oscar and more than likely win, already heiling Scorcese as one of the best of his tine despite it being only one of his first. Goes to show how dead cinema is today. Back then a great movie would come out every year and nowadays good movies are either overlooked or sadly just nonexistent.

Got this in a 4 pack movie deal at target Marty's best that included the aviator the departed and goodfellas and mean streets let's just say mean streets put me to sleep and the aviator blew me away obvi the departed and goodfellas I LOVE
One of the few good movies of martin scorsese, he made many bad movies, slow like sitting bull, rocky, the first of the saga, is better (silvester stallone), the movie with jerry lewis a boring martin scorsese movie, good movie, casino with the pretty blonde sharon stone, goodfellas, and some other i dont remember titles. Martin scorsese works a lot, many movies, bad and good, thats my opinion.

Lines are bad, everything is forced and acting can't get good in this context too. But it was made more then 10 years before most good mafia films so we need kinda understand. The story is good. Anyway it's always cool to enjoy some 70's photography. Highlight is definitely the cars!

Well, it is made in the 70s. Some great movies has very bad trailers because of the editing process and that's the fact on why.
