This movie left a very bitter taste in my mouth, but as a testament to how good this movie is. The dissonance and confusion I felt after watching this movie! To me it was a horror story filmed with the perspective of a tragic romance. It wasn't until some time after you finished this movie and thought about what happened to her that you feel the horror and fear and disgust from the movie. This movie really drived home for me that quote "Art Should Comfort the Disturbed and Disturb the Comfortable". One thing for sure, it's definitely not Hollywood and not anime, it made me want to watch Almodóvar's works like a mental masochist !

Her "No it won't." Isnt in the final film, she doesnt really have an accent in the film's line but in the trailer she has an Irish take on the word "won't" that's quite disguishable from the plain way of saying "won't".

Great Movie and what about the soundtrack with Madonna. Wow.... nice tune in there. Then Madonna and Sean Penn get together. This Movie started that stuff, right? Those 80's days were good, gud, and gooder. Well, 5 stars of course.
