Incredible list. Lots of stuff here that I love and vibe very hard with. Most hidden feeling treasure being Cure, incredible - I wonder if you have seen 'Creepy' also by Kurosawa? And I was 'that guy' who passed Martyrs around to my Film Studies class... I remember when that used to happen and the chain would clot pretty quick and your dvd would be lost forever, but everyone was keen to get that film out of their house and on to the next person to share in the suffering. And you ended on Visitor Q!!?! Yesss. 🥹- nearly 20 years ago I thought I saw a possible feminist theme buried in the metaphor of this one, and argued the case in an auteur study that earned me a prize haha.

The Slumber Party Massacre remake was such a delight! It surprised me so much. Also, weirdly had thought about Der Bunker several times today for no reason before you mentioned a movie by the same filmmakers. My psychic powers back at it again.

Great video Rob - so many films I haven't heard of and will be looking out for. I think I'm the person who is going to love Enys Men - looks like just my thing (and set in my part of the world). Going to see it in January with the director in attendance for a Q and A.
