Why don’t we have a Viewtiful Joe collection already?
Viewtiful Joe? Isn't that a Capcom game? I'd like to play the game if they ever announce the collection
Is Viewtiful Joe a 3rd person action shooter?
No?
Then Capcom doesn't care about it. 😂
For real. That is one of the many games that really need a remaster or even just a port.
They did the first Onimusha and I was happy but the other titles didn’t come.
Really a bummer.
Because there’s only 2 maneline Viewtiful Joe games
That doesn’t really stop anyone from making a collection. A prime example of this is first two Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games were remade.
You hit it on the head, consumers don’t want a PS5 pro, we just want games that are designed for the current generation.
This. I have no reason to buy a PS5 yet, and even less so with the whole shortage situation.
I still like split-screen and other couch-friendly MP modes, fun with friends in person is more fun than fun with friends over a headset.
It's a feature I rarely use these days, but would still fight to lose over my dead body. Other people should experience what I had when I was a kid. Local split screen gaming used to be great in the 90s. And better still, today's with 4k (heck even 8k) displays, and at 50 inch, sometimes 75 inches, there's no better opportunity for decent split screen gaming if developers out their mind to it.
@@skycloud4802Absolutely, split-screen on my 55" 4K is so much better than it was on the 30" NTSC Tube we had in the basement growing up.
Big Facts
@@skycloud4802we should bring splitscreen back because modern gamers seem to be antisocial. And some of us have a better relationship with our siblings or parents because of splitscreen.
And much less toxic than playing with online strangers trolling
I can see Nintendo waiting until next generation and adding GameCube to nso. They might be adding pressure sensitive triggers for next Gen controller, giving better support for those games that used it on GameCube. Lock the emulation to new system as extra feature to entice people to upgrade to it.
This is probably exactly what they are doing.
Think so too.
Remember how they gated the snes games behind the New 3DS for no reason and never brought Gba games for whatever other reason while putting it out on the Wii U.
Nintendo sometimes really likes leaving money on the street.
I can only hope to see the revival pf the Virtual Console where we can buy the older games we want but I doubt they will let us have that good thing again.
Its a massive shame there is no "buy option" for nso games only rent. So when ever Nintendo decide to turn off the servers all your rentals are gone forever. I would definitely buy GameCube games on the switch
They need to build a low-level emulator for the GameCube if they want it to be cost efficient and release more than three games a year for it (the Super Mario 3D All-Stars games were done with the high-level emulation approach). I don't think the current Switch CPU is anywhere near powerful enough to run low-level GameCube emulation, but the next Switch will surely have enough juice in store for it.
Careful asking for a Chao Garden game. You know the monkey paw's finger will curle and give you a mobile game
I stopped asking for it a long time ago when I realised how heavily monetised it’ll be
Ngl it could work better as a mobile game
a chao garden mobile game already got leaked, its only exclusive to netflix tho

I think being able to play SA 1 on console and use the smartphone as a replacement for the vmu would be cool
The PS5 Pro is pointless. Instead developers should just optimize their games.
Not when you have games struggling to run 30fps*
Agreed, games are coming out incomplete, buggy, and with jarring frame rate dips. I haven't even bought either of the newer consoles. I did buy a PlayStation 2, really been enjoying that. Being able to 100% games is really enjoyable and I'd kind of forgotten what that feels like. Finding all the precursor stuff in the Jak series was really fun. I don't know there is just a feeling to games of that era, like fun for the sake of fun. Instead of focusing on the money, and you can really tell. There was a much wider variety of games too.
Mid gen refresh is a good thing.
@@ostarfox69channel Take the most recent AAA game to come out. Dragons Dogma 2 is struggling to run on the best hardware, and it took modders a weekend to fix it. The game wasn't ready to release and that has been the defacto standard for the past decade.
When games release complete on the disc and with no issues, then we can talk about a pro model.
@@cosmocalypse3708 No it literally isn't. It only encourages developers to be lazy.
I feel like a ps5 pro is such a step backwards. Instead of a mid generation “upgrade” why not focus on putting more into the systems we have currently. In my opinion it’s like we’re always trying to take the next step forward before making sure that we have solid ground to walk on in the first place. Anyways that’s my thoughts on this.
I would love to play Split-Screen more often, but there are so few games with local multiplayer anymore. My dad recently got an Xbox One, and it is hard to find stuff we can play together when I am at his place.
Good to see news about GDC that doesn’t involve people screaming at the sky.
Too bad not too many people really care about that news.
You say it's easier and easier to not use split screen but really it's harder and harder to find games that even support it.
I prefer the console experience. It just dont want to update anything myself and dont want to go and look up resolutions for something not working. For coming home from work and then just want to do plain gaming, i think the console is a superior experience. And i would not hesitate to spend money on pricier console that gives a nice experience. I just want it to be easy and straight forward.
PC gaming is overrated with regards to the way PC elitists go on about it.
What you said asides, not everyone has time time to adjust game settings, let alone deal with the need to update drivers and other BS.
Not to mention physical. Games like Elden Ring still require sizable downloads even with the disc, but cartridges like the new Princess Peach game, Unicorn Overlord, FF16, Tekken 8, the Cyberpunk PS5/Xbox Series versions are examples of games which are still able to still be played and completed with the actual disc or cartridge.
PC going all digital further cemented traditional home consoles as the default option for most people.
The fact
@@cbgg1585sounds like both of you are ignorant as fuck about PC gaming. You’re both exaggerating badly for the point of having something to say about it. Go enjoy your consoles, I’ll enjoy having all of my backed up content on my pc that plays better than it originally did, with mod support, and future proofing access. Never again having to buy the same digital game license over and over again when consoles decide to redo their online stores to remove even more freedom of yours. Don’t be pathetic. Use your brain and vote with your wallet.

Every time Nintendo announces a new GameCube remaster or remake, the less I'm convinced they're planning GC NSO.
It's what gives them an extra 60 dollars sale!
I want to buy GameCube games, I want the option to purchase them just like I would like to purchase N64 games.
Remember, we get to own the remakes, we don't own any games on NSO.
@@suroguner I own some of the games on NSO. What do you mean?
@@Fayt540 NSO is a rental service. if you don't keep up your subscription the games go away. If you have the games from the service on other systems, that's different.
I really hope Sparking Zero has splitscreen. I would love to play it with my son.
I don't use split screen often but I love it and buy every game that has it just to have that option if I have a friend over.
Instead of making a ps5 pro, how about game dev learn to optimize their game like the OG dev were able to do in the NES, SNES. Those dev knew the hardware inside out and were basically magicians
You forget the chips on the cartridge helping the console to perform better. But you are right optimization should be more in the focus of devs. ☮️
For the companies that want to push for the usually "graphics", a better rattracing capable gpu is the only option in the short run, along side better ai capable upscalers that is featured in the ps5 pro (because lets be real most games use upscalers on consoles to get back performance before pc did for years now). But sadly, an improper CPU upgrade will mean it will not help with cpu heavy games, so you will not reach 60fps. Otherwise optimization is the best option... to a point for a certain style of game.
@@Deliveredmean42 how about having already a gpu with decent rt performance like the series x? What about optimization of games? ☮️
You can’t seriously be comparing development for the NES/SNES with current gen hardware. The complexity of modern 3D games is orders of magnitude greater than anything released on those old consoles. If you really can’t understand that then you shouldn’t be making any kind of comment about video games.
@@Deliveredmean42Yeah this is a very good point. Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a good example, since from what I have heard that game is very CPU dependent.
For the split screen thing.... I don't use it because games don't have it anymore, but when it is there I like using it. My youngest son is always excited when we find a local split screen co-op game. We have played through destroy all humans 2 reprobed together because of that feature.
Didn’t know there’s 2 player offline split screen for the 2 destroy all humans games, cool
@@Gawlakman just 2. One does not have this.
With the Xbox thing, I see it as them releasing components so you can upgrade your system like it was a PC, swapping out graphics cards and ram and such.
Might as well get an actual pc then 💁
errr... no
the way chipsets are made for consoles, changing the GPU is impossible without an entire hardware refresh.
I think more people would use split screen IF developers actually made it functional. For example the split screen in the last few call of duties has been horrendous, Gran Turismo 7s split screen is appalling. Minecraft and all the sports titles (fifa/nba/etc) are the only ones worth playing local multiplayer on. Those and occasionally a random indie title
While PS4 and XBOX One games are still being made the 'next' generation still haven't really started. We don't need to mid-gen refresh. We just need current-gen-only focused software.
Oh make no mistake.
Phil Spencer is paying attention to the Apple vs FTC case.
He wants to sell Xbox games on PlayStation and Nintendo.
They already were with Minecraft tho.
It will be interesting. If (by slim chance) apple loses, all eyes will go towards consoles walled gardens. Xbox release its stuff on everything these days, PS does PC so no pressure there. But Nintendo will be a big point of contention.
I love PC and pc gaming and am not a fan of walled. gardens.
@@codeen66 it's a very different situation selling Minecraft through the PS store/eshop vs selling it on those systems through the xbox store
More than selling games, what he wants is to shove Game Pass down the throats of every single person he can, everywhere he can.
The kind of already are with Minecraft Ori and cuphead. We got banjo and (op) Steve into Smash Bros and banjo on the N64 app.

There is no S in LEGO.....
LEGO is always an adjective. So LEGO bricks, LEGO elements, LEGO sets, etc. Never, ever "legos."
Phil reminds me of myself at around 5 years old. I couldn’t understand how to play the board games we had, so I’d just make up new rules and try to force everyone else to change how they played. That way I’d always win! 😃
And by having the infinite income from Microsoft, the third biggest company from all time, they are able to do that with all the caviats they want.
Not 3rd biggest. Biggest.
This is a *wonderful* analogy and perfectly encapsulates my opinions of how Phil Spencer and Microsoft handle Xbox - and how Microsoft handles other products.
Well that's shitty thinking. They're making changes to themselves. If others are copying them, it's not their fault.
Yeah, Phil really doesn't know what he's doing. He was actually doing an interview in which he complained that Fallout '76 doesn't have a cross save feature so he can use his saved game on any device. Here's what's funny: Phil is the developer's boss; he can literally walk into their office and tell them to make a cross save feature for Fallout '76, and he doesn't do that. So the question is this: Why is Phil complaining about something that he has full control over? And the answer is simple. He's trying to sell people on the idea of playing any game on any platform because that helps Microsoft, because their Xbox hardware isn't selling. Phil doesn't understand that just making great games can and does sell consoles. He just doesn't know how to do that, which is why he claimed that "great games alone don't sell consoles". That's also why he previously stated that exclusives are good for consoles but changed his mind and now says exclusives are bad. He has no clue about how exclusive games affect console sales.
I'm actually amazed that Xbox fans can't see through the illusion of Phil Spencer. He's worse than Jim Ryan, and I'd argue that he's even worse than Don Mattrick. At least Don knew to keep first-party games exclusive to Xbox and get some great games out. Phil just keeps spending Microsoft's money to buy up publishers and developers and really has nothing to show for it. Where are all the games? I haven't bought a new Microsoft game since 2020. Oh, and is Call of Duty on Game Pass yet? It's like Phil is just buying stuff and not realizing what he has or what he can do with it.
That would be amazing if the gamecube came to switch. Also be amazing if they just ported alot of games from that era and up-ressed them

Many of us were puzzled for the need of a PS5 Pro, and then we see the news that developers feel the same about it. It really makes one question if the console makers feel completely lost with what the people want/need.
I want a pro
Exactly because gaming has only started to be exclusive to ps5/new gen. Death stranding 2 actually looks like a next gen game with its diverse and detailed maps that most likely comes with its own physics. A pro isn’t needed because ps5 hasn’t been fully optimized yet.

@@DeathcoreManiacfor the majority of folks, people just exclusively play 1080p and 1440p for better performance. And I am certain half of the 4k games you play on console uses some kind of upscaler from 1080p/1440p. Unless of course you are a pc.
The new PS5 Pointless!
Agreed, though mine is starting to have issues, conveniently right after the warranty period. Considering trading it in if the pro ever comes out.
This generation has barely even begun. I think it's too early for a mid gen refresh. It's totally pointless.
It's not we need 4K in new games... If you want you can keep playing at 1080p 60fps or 1440p 30fps
Everyone will keep saying the PS5 Pro is pointless until they have to get one to run GTA6 properly.
If it can run basically any game at 4K 60fps, then no it’s not. Now if you don’t have a 4K display, then sure it’s not worth it. But for those of us that do, it is a worthwhile upgrade. This is of course assuming that it will be able to run everything at 4K 60fps, which remains to be seen.
The last "substantial" update the switch had was adding Bluetooth headphone capability, which the psp go had....in 2009.
PSP could also play mp3s and movies...*sigh*
Psp is one of the best handhelds ever made and I wish Sony would make something similar again
Pretty much any game can be made to run well, especially on a system like the PS5. If it doesn't run well, 95/100 times it's because the devs prioritized graphics etc. over performance. Even on the Switch there have been impressive ports of demanding games that run well.
I'm pretty excited for Judas, I mean cautiously of course. There's still much to learn and it could just suck, but I hope it's great.
I would play more split screen if more games offered it!
Honest question. Does FF7 Rebirth really need a PS5 Pro, or does it just need to be coded better?
Not to go back to the original idea but it would be awesome if Xbox had full windows support. Regarding the ps5 mid gen upgrade, unless 60fps 4k is standard I don’t see a reason to upgrade.

Will we see an update to the Switch dock? Did we ever see an update for the Switch OLED dock?
No. And no.

Why would the dock need an update?
Most NSO systems were released alongside controllers for those systems. It's be AWESOME if they announced GameCube with a modern Wavebird controller.
Honestly I’d love to see GC games land but for real knowing Nintendo they’d remaster their most bankable games on GC before they’d use them on NSO. Nearly all GC games hold and skyrocketed their value.
On the other hand literally all they’d need to say is Melee or Double Dash and I guarantee everyone would eat it up without a seconds thought… me too to be honest.
There's already wireless GameCube controllers for the switch. Since smash came out lol
@@vomitspitCONCARNE IIRC those were wired and also came alongside adapters.
Knowing Nintendo, they'll not make Wavebird, but bluetooth controllers as they have with the other past ones so far.
@Fayt540 PowerA made both wired and wireless GCC for the switch. Black, Indigo, Gold, Grey (which only came in 3 bundle), pokemon and mario theme colors. I have 2 of them. A quick "Nintendo Switch wireless GCC" Google search is all you have to do. There's no need for Nintendo to make wavebirds for the Switch since they made them the original size and added an extra "L" button to use in different games. U can use OG wavebirds on the Switch u just gotta use the license Nintendo GCC adapter.
I think I have a good video of the before and after that shows a little more on the "performance" update, though it is a short loop for I had a little bit off a ruff time getting the loop at the right time before it jumps back to the start... it's a clip I did randomly out of awe in Metroid Prime Remastered.
I've been predicting what phill Spencer said for a couple years now. I think hardware is going to be less exclusive moving forward and games as a service/game buying platforms will go cross console which will give players way more options for how and where they want to play their games. I think it's a cool concept and could be revolutionary for the gaming industry but I think it will come with a lot of hickups in terms of performance and optimization on whatever device you chose to play on. Like pc, console gaming performance won't be guaranteed anymore since devs will have to design their games to work across a number of systems instead of one primary system. Itll be intersting to see how it plays out.
I have seen credible leaks that the next NSO system is the Philips CDi.
Why do I find that more believable that most recent rumors?
I’ve always wanted an accessible way to play The Flowers of Robert Maplethorpe.
Imagine getting that triple pack on Switch rather than Wind Waker or Twilight Princess HD.
Maybe they are looking at a “GameCube classic”
i doubt it. that would be too expensive and at a weird time
They haven't done the classic thing in many years, and the next in line would have to be N64 or Gameboy. They were meant as quick cash grabs when things weren't going so well for them. They aren't going to do another one because the current consoles actually sells well
Did they even make the N64 classic yet? I'd think that would make more sense due to showing the N64 controller, but idk.
You nailed it. Im perfectly fine with xbox opening up to more store fronts like steam, especially with lots of pc only early access games i would love to play..however its imperative they still make sure its plug and play console side. Plus, with comsole havijg a dedicated gaming OS, it helps with performance in the end since its drsigned to do just ome thing.
The only way that I could see the DS be added to NSO is the system would have to be flipped vertically so that it can fit both screens and you would have to remove the Joy Cons, or use your pro controller for the buttons, or Nintendo releases an accessory for your Switch specifically for this mode
At this point any NSO expansion upgrade going to be for the Switch 2 I’d imagine and I think a clamshell dual screen setup is very possible.

Everything he says is just Microsoft moving his mouth with their hand up his rear, telling customers what they want instead of listening to what they're saying in classic Microsoft fashion.
Microsoft opening up the Xbox to other stores could be a rather brilliant move, especially given the current issues Apple is facing in the EU. And would Sony be mad if they're still selling games?
And with the issues of "Pro" consoles not doing enough to really move the needle, it's time to consider the whole ecosystem and not their little corner of the industry.

actually the PS5 Pro should be much more easy to develop then for the PS4 Pro. i watched Moores law is dead videos about this (the guy who original leaked the pro) and he specifically mentioned that the PS5 pro will have the same CPU as the base model for this reason. It should give PS5 games that are not optimized for the pro a boost without the developers needing to put more work into it.
If they want to they can realize then a patch for the pro later on to ultilize more of the hardware.
Im sure its the CPU that is the problem, also not enough time spent on optimization
I feel like we already had a Marvel attempt at a hero shooter with Avengers. It didn't go that well...
The loss of spitscreen multi-player isnt because people dont want it. Its because its not even an option on most games anymore. The world doesnt have less little brothers or roomates than before, so split screen would always be advantageous as a selling point, but when its not an option for so many games, its forcing that poll result. Nintendo is the only company that wants people in the same room, and the last games we'll see with it will probably be something like earth defense force. Its a sad and devastating loss for the sake of "progress".
You sell more consoles and units by not including Split Screen. That's why they cut it
At this point I think the gaming console manufacturers release mid console lifespan refreshes (PS5 pro) because they want to stop their console gamers from upgrading to PC.
I’m not sure GameCube NSO makes sense considering the number of GameCube games that have HD ports or remakes.
Could be working on N64 and GC Classic consoles
Exactly what we need is another palworld game that nobody asked for outside of kids maybe
Absolutely nobody asked tencent for anything
The way SEGA should make a Chao Gatden work now is have it be it’s own game, have some basic Chao, you get new ones based on all their other Sonic games they release for use in Chao Garden, then just update it once in a while with a new mini game
Phil Spencer's recent comments, to me, sound less like opening up the Xbox console to outside game market-places, and more like Xbox itself just essentially being part of Windows PC.
I think that the future of Xbox is Windows and the future of Xbox hardware is something that looks more like the Surface brand of PC hardware, in that Microsoft will make various in-house gaming centric devices that carry the Xbox brand and are designed specifically for the gaming market.
But ultimately, any Windows PC can be an "Xbox Console", so long as it has a supported version of Windows that offers that functionality.

While I often use split screen multiplayer I can understand why most games don't include it very often, devs probably don't wanna limit themselves with the hardware loading assets for multiple split screens at once and of course the platform holder wants to push you to subscribe to their online services.

Therefore our hardware doesn't sell and it's not our fault. Once, I pushed a kid in a fountain when he told me that Rare Studio should go back to Nintendo."
Gotta love The Legend of Zerda series...
It’s a brirriant series👍
Been wanting GameCube games to come to the switch forever
Kirby Air Ride
Star Fox Adventures
Not to mention the throw backs many peoples favorite smash- (melee) and many peoples favorite Mario party !
i would love if mario party 5 was on switch
If steam releases on consoles or Xbox exclusive…whew!! That would be huge if they got it right. Would easily shake things up.
xbox doesnt have exclusives though?
@@joogled1839 Starfield, Hellblade 2, Halo Infinite, Forza Motorsport, Indiana Jones, Blade, Outer Worlds 2, and many more.
@@joogled1839 they do, but imagine if they got a steam app on their console. Sony would HAVE to react and follow suit. No way they would allow Microsoft to have that much freedom. Someone would capitalize on it for sure. That’s what I mean it would shake things up
all of those are on pc my dude. don't know waht to tell you. most of those are on steam too, so not an excuse.@@jcdenton4110
you say 'they do' so confidently as if most games on xbox is on steam or other platforms..@@chumpyt
I still want Nintendo to make an N64 mini. I think we need it
Never gonna happen not at this point. They made the nes and snes classic to test the waters for NSO. and then added them to NSO. There’s no point in them doing another classic console
@@lewisgrant7622 I agree, but Nintendo is Nintendo you never know
@@lewisgrant7622 Why would they need to do that?
Glad to hear Nixxies did a great job porting Horizon Forbidden West. The original games port is still iffy, but I am glad Nixxies going forward is eliminating the issues that have plagued PlayStation Studios ports in the past.
I'd lose my mind over GameCube on NSO.
For real. It’d save so much money compared to hunting down the more costly titles
You shouldn't because
1. You don't even own it.
And 2. it's going to run like garbage on a switch not to mention with the online making it even more unstable.
Your better off playing it on Dolphin
Who wants to play GameCube games on switch anyway?
I used to be hype for this too but for some reason now I dont care
@@NetBattler We do, duh. I’m sorry you’re a sad excuse for a gamer who feels the need to piss on other’s happiness
It looks like Microsoft is kind exiting the gaming space and leaning towards a streaming platform.
According to console warriors who hate Microsoft.
@@jcdenton4110you are the definition of console warrior. 😎📸
Clueless
Microsoft was dead to me a long time ago when they never put out anything of value imo.
Growing up with Sony and a Gamecube, there wasn't any reason to own an Xbox when everything came out elsewhere that I wanted. If they go toward streaming, nothing of value was lost, imo.
I've had that idea for a long while either Ms or valve would have to make a set specs pc that they would promise to support at least 5 years and every single game released on their marketplaces would be forced to be playable on that pc - console and that would be a pretty cool evolution of the consoles
❤ I know right... don't sleep on the PS5 pro it's going to be 🔥.. i still got my PS4 Pro with 6tb ssd & could definitely play a lot of the games still coming out at 1440p or 4k 30hz to 60hz.
Wake me up when the regular PS5 gets games. Zzz..
Phil.....the console isn't the problem...it's the lack of good games to play.
You aren't paying attention then
This. The only good games out for PS5 are Final Fantasy XVI and FF7 Rebirth... and they're likely coming to PC to be played on my Steam Deck.
I need like 5+ different games to bother getting a console, and most that almost had me ended up coming out for PS4 which I already have.
Sony and Microsoft should sell upgradeable components and keyboards and mouse support.
Mario "C"art 64?! 👀
German auto translated into English. But yeah. 😂
Saw the leaked image on reddit for the Marvel Game. It has a nice artstyle and also called the Hero Shooter that it might be.
I think phil has the right idea. Play games from amy storefront on the console of your choice.
Christ i’m older than the entire Spawncast and i get it. JOHN: the gamecube DIED for lack of sales and it’s NOT 2004 its 2024.

More live service scammy games
Keep crying. Tencent pays me yearly dividends. People play and buy their games irregardless of how “scammy” they are.
Keep whingeing while I remain debt free and only continuing to be enriched. Also, enjoy working your 9-5 while I continue to ride off and get rich of these corporations via my equities investment portfolio. 🤣😂
@@cbgg1585, don't worry after Tiktok, we have information that Tencent is next in trial 😉

Don't you just love to see it, sports fans
Finally, Cubivore in HD.
18:45 Rebirth needed the patch, it's also on a very old branch of UE4, which is why the game doesn't support temporal upscaling, which would be a huge positive for performance. Not sure FF7Rebirth is actually a good example of a PS5 game, as it's firmly rooted in it's previous game's PS4 based past.
I'm sorry but Phil Spencer should really just stop talking. He keeps trying to force his ideals into what he WANTS the industry to be versus what it actually is. Playstation and Nintendo consoles are thriving and aren't going anywhere.
Is anyone really thriving out here? PS5 has no games. Nintendo pushing out shit games no one asked for in poor quality. Xbox game pass is just there for people to play past gen games on current consoles which isn't really thriving at all.
Face it. Things have gone to shit because it's all about greed and money, not about making good, fun games anymore.

The more you open a "closed-up console ecosystem", the more you are turning it into a *PC* at the end of the day.
Hopefully this palworld influence makes pokemon step their game up
I was really hoping for a new X-Men game following the return of X-Men '97, it's a shame I loved the old X-Men Rise of Apocalypse game, on the Gamecube.
I have seen leaks similar to the sonic heroes leak before you covered the story talking about a Chao Garden mobile game in the works for 2025-2026 that’s Netflix exclusive
"Nintendo has Game Cube emulation ready"
I've also played Super Mario 3D All-Stars thanks for the obvious twitter dude with the patent.
Phil Spencer translated: If you can't beat them, join them.
For the people that may not see it. This is likely MS thinking about the situation of not wanting to look like a monopoly.
So of course Phil is doing an alternative approach so they keep up float, but it’s also the way to find a work around to Sony’s scummy practice of not placing their games on the Xbox platform.
Think about it MS is looking at Helldivers and other game and wanting them on Xbox, but that Sony’s problem they don’t want them on there so next best idea is PC.
From a business perspective, having GameCube games all accessible on NSO would not be as much value for Nintendo when they know that fans would happily want full remasters or re releases of classic GameCube games (like TTYD) and Metroid Prime.
Something tells me you're wrong, but with how slow they put out games, I could see it being a business problem.
With file sizes of even 1 GameCube game, I don't see it being feasible to have many in one app
About 1 to less than 2 GBs, it can be a lot if put on a base Switch but SD cards are definitely a lot cheaper than they were back in 2017
LETS HOPE THEY PUT DREAMCAST ON FOR SWITCH 2 AS WELL!
