I do like companies and organizations that plant trees as a way to offset their carbon footprint, since more trees does equal less carbon dioxide in the air, however there's one thing that many don't realise and get a bit wrong. You can't just plant a bunch of trees and that's it. A charity fundraiser in my town helped plant over 1,000 trees, but they literally just planted them all in rows in a field and that was it ... and all the trees died. You have to make sure you employ the services of an arborist to actually _care_ for the trees, help provide supports for their trunks as they grow from saplings into more mature trees, and trim and fertilize them properly and make sure they don't succumb to disease or pests. So just saying you "plant a tree for every purchase" doesn't exactly say much - you need to provide more details and make sure you do it properly, not just plant some saplings and hope for the best.
You indeed need a plan instead just doing things. Things like soil quality water amounts and hours of sunlight are a huge deal. This is why i prefer to donate to people who buy up and protect parches of nature (woods/rainforests/wetlands etc etc). Bc then you know its good straight away ^^.

Even better when they help support "old growth" forests because those - especially in the UK - are in desperate need of protection and more funding so we don't lose what little older forests that we still have. All new is good, don't get me wrong, but already-established places need funding too!

These companies practically never physically plant a tree themselves. They just pay some small amount of money per sale to another company that handles that sort of thing.
Man I got one of those free pine-tree saplings from school as a kid it is like 30 foot tall with a triple main lead and no real top because it got ran over by the riding mower atleast a dozen times and hit by lighting once only thing I've ever done for it is ratchet strap the leads back together after the lighting split it you all must be planting some week ass trees or something

Like most refurbished brands it focuses on the popular brands and cannot compete with the variety of eBay.
It absolutely can. The problem with E bay is returns, quality. It all will vary with the seller. I would buy from this with more peace of mind and being able to exchange or return.
imo ebay is expensive asf, dont get me wrong, i've bought from there plenty of times, but a phone is something that i would prob not buy from there
@@tru_yt I had an issue with EBay years ago and it is just not worth the hassle.
Hard disagree, I love ebay for refurbished items that are low-risk or being peddled by the manufacturer (low-risk used chairs or dyson selling its own appliances as examples). But for sensitive and important items like phones and computers are usually not worth it unless dealing with a refurbishing company like Reebelo on Ebay itself and if you do that you're basically engaging with a higher-risk version of Reebelo anyways.

It's worth noting that there are different sellers depending on the item. These videos, and people in general, never mention that.
They may not have checked it, or they might be like me and not always know where to find that on the website
That's one thing that ticks me about Austin's videos whenever he's checking refurbishing sites.
What do you mean, he mentioned that multiple times in the video, pointing out that only the AirPods seemed to actually have been shipped from the site.

5:30 this can be a sign for an expanded battery pushing against the haptic thingy under the trackpad. You should've checked system information for battery cycles/health.
It can also be a sign that someone spilled soup of some kind on the trackpad. I used to work at a repair shop and a girl spilled curry all over her macbook air. Had to replace her screen and spent a good 20 minutes or so scraping around the trackpad with tweasers to get all the curry from around the trackpad before the trackpad worked properly again.

for pre builts u can find so many now that are constantly on sale at walmart amazon newegg and other places like really good budget 1080-1440 computers under 600-1000
Im not sure if they are in the us, but if they are maybe CeX because they do refurbished and resold tech and the quality of times can vary

quick thing to note: majority of items sold on reebelo (and things like backmarket) aren’t sold by reebelo themselves, companies have items in their warehouses and they send them to you.

Zflip 3 or 4 like new with 300$ price tag is a massive great deal, i got zflip 3 at 250$ and very happy with it. One massive disadvantages was the battery die pretty quick.

The same no click issue either the mac happened to me. I own the same machine that I bought in 2018. It was working good but after the latest MacOs update, the trackpad’s click stopped working.

I bought two items from Reebelo; an LG Velvet 5G in 'excellent' condition over a year ago, and an Xbox 360 E in 'excellent' condition very recently. The LG looked fantastic and worked fantastic. The Xbox however looked like it hadn't been refurbished whatsoever which it REALLY needed to be. Most consoles get abused, sadly, which is why I wanted a fixed-up refurbished unit. I still have the LG, I returned the Xbox.

I've had a horrible experience with reebello. I bought a Samsung s21 in "excellent condition" and the fingerprint sensor was broken and the sim tray was loose. They say they do 70 tests to the phone to make sure it's working before sending it off. That's obviously a lie. Should be reprimanded for false advertising.

If the Z Flip 4 is anything like mine the factory fitted screen protector started lifting during the heat of last summer and I ended up fitting a new one myself, the nearest Samsung service centre was way to far for me to travel to make it economic cost wise to do the journey and get one fitted for free.
I honestly hate Chromebooks, the idea is ok but then you realize that they are all pre-destined to be e-waste. I see so many for sale on my local markets but a large majority are either past their EOL or are very close and not labeled as such.

Reebelo gave me a terribly conditioned Samsung s23+. It was scratched up and nothing but problems with speakers, and needing to be rebooted all the time. They will not call you back. I received it with a dead battery

That Victus "PC" is E-Waste, seriously... crappy-ass "GPU", only 8 gigs of RAM even though the Website said 16 GB, and as Austin mentioned, just barely cheaper than a brand-new still crappy but at least fully warranty-d pc.

For the quality of my AirPod pro compared to cheaper earbuds I can tell a huge difference and they function a lot better than most of the others I owned so the price is worth it
Depends on which brand you get. Never liked AirPods because they fall out of the ear so easily.
