I wonder how much of Austin's personal data was harvested this episode!
The reason i avoid chinese sites!
@@maxnum1sgameclub263everyone does that, it just depends do you want western countries and companies or eastern ones to take your data
He dont ordee it on his name or even adres😂
@@Daniel-qz8bp we are not talking about name and adress… we are speaking about the site itself thats already stealing data and the credit card data etc ^^.
@@maxnum1sgameclub263 I doubt a full blown business is using a regular card instead of prepaid
I think what folks forget is that even the legit stuff we buy from the regular places are made in china for the most part, so it’s not shocking that places like this could get cheaper versions of the items.
So normal products are the same as slave labour. Wow.
Yeah but Temu sells it cheap because they steal all your data and it gets sold in the dark web. No thanks!!!
Honestly aliexpress is better because it's basically China Amazon.
@@kiwikemist I've bought from AliExpress plenty of times. Never got anyting that wasn't what it said it was.
@@kiwikemist temu is better, as i get all my packages in about a week, unlike aliexpress,
18:00 they are legit. The price on TEMU and U.S. Market is not that different. The reason they looked different is because they were foreign versions. The hardware is the same, gets imported into U.S. where they then make the User Guides and Manuals, re-package them for the U.S Market.
So the hardware is the same, packaging is different because it wasn't intended for the U.S. Market.
The systems can play us games the foreign versions some can play us games
The G102 seems legit. Even here in korea they sell them in the chinese packaging
@xerxesYt123 the G102 seems legit. I bought the same mouse from the local electronics chain store here in Taiwan at essentially the same price as on TEMU.
The DeathAdder is suspicious... They usually have a braided cable and it seems to me that the one in this video has a regular cable.
@@xerxesYt123Logitech didn’t name it the G102 but G203 so it’s a fake. (also design is nearly 10years old). That Razer I don’t know for sure but that looks more legit as hardware/Synapse
Note on the Genesis cart: 4 G *bit* = 512 M *byte*, it's half a gig. This isn't necessarily a sleazy tactic either, raw memory chips of most types are sold by the bit because memory has historically not always been arranged in 8-bit bytes. Similarly game console flashcarts were sold in bit sizes before the wave of modern ones you just stick an SD card in. Also, that all looks to be relatively modern stuff, not some old Genesis hardware. Altera Max is an FPGA chip -- logic gates that can be wired together into custom circuits by software. Here it's what talks to the modern 512 MB flash storage and makes it act enough like a Genesis cartridge to fool your console. The choice of an FPGA means this is a relatively small production run product -- for a really big run they'd have a custom fixed-function ASIC made, but that takes longer to develop and costs way more to start manufacturing them, but after that initial cost each chip is way cheaper. But here they just buy FPGA chips from Altera and program them to act like the chip they need.
Pretty sure those mice are both legit too, the packaging is just weird because they're the Chinese versions of them, with some janky English translation of the instructions stuffed into the box.
0:16 that first autocomplete result though 😂
Nudes😂
Knock-off game controllers have gotten shockingly good. I bought an $18 Switch pro controller off of Amazon that I have no complaints about, would take it before Nintendo joy-cons.
Same, I got a fake Amazon PS4 controller that, unlike the real one, works wirelessly with the PS3 with no setup. And I can't tell the difference between a real DualShock 4
give it two months
@@22greyelephants I've had it for a year now. However, I bought a Switch usb to hdmi cable from Temu that Austin recommended in another episode and it seems to have arrived DOA.
@@22greyelephants i have a china bootleg Switch Pro Controller (Xenoblade Chronicles version) for 4 years now and still works perfectly fine ;)
I love your channel. I got all notifications activated, and youtube skipped your videos sometimes. Keep it up, guys 🙏. Good job. ❤.
Austin your videos shopping on these “alternative” sites are very informative to know what we are getting into my favorite is when you have to deal with customer support and learn from your experiences, would also love to hear your thoughts on security of the sites regarding payment or customer information
Temu is fine. You are skipping the middle man. All the stuff you see on Etsy and Amazon is sourced from the same companies that sell through TEMU. I found pins and wallets from Temu are like 50%-75% off the prices from Esty and Amazon. If youre worry about data. Don't use your card. They accept Apple Pay and Paypal if your worry about some of your data.
has no one else commented on the AR game console? I'm more surprised that it actually works, (albeit it may just do basic sensor thing where when it detects movement, it just does the fruit cutting and whatnot)
Dreamcast and PS2 had movement detecting cameras decades ago. You'd expect a modern clone to work :D
Very much reminds me of slightly higher quality versions of the PS2 Eye Toy haha
I wonder what happens to the items they order from Wish and Temu. It's obvious certain items are kept. But the other items. Do they get returned ? Thrown away? Donated? Or. Raffled off to a lucky viewer? Just wondering is all. Keep up the amazing work.
Ya know I do worry about the e-waste afterwards. That's a good question.
They most likely store it for spares repairs and parts
????????? repairs and parts. I'm sorry but I don't evan doing a tronicsfix colab in the future. @@DrkTriqz
Temu has became a place for content for youtuber.
Thanks Austin, and the boner boys, for all your hard work. I ALWAYS love to see a main channel upload from you guys on the weekend.

Boner boys? Omg y'all Gen Z kids....
boner what?
I’m sorry… THE WHAT-ER BOYS?!
@@dieseldabz7104 I’m actually a millennial I’ll have you know!
12:00 These Genesis/Mega Drive carts aren't old stock, they're still getting produced. But for ~$30 you can get a Genesis/Mega Drive flash card and basically put your own roms on them. I use mine to load Sega CD/Mega CD bios files from different regions, so that I can play my US Sega CDs on my European Mega CD.
Man I love retro gaming but I can never find sites legitimate sites anymore. RIP romnation
Good to see that they found a use for the unsold eye toys, from the ps2.
Why do I not get bored by this kind of content lol. So many tech content creater do this stuff with ali express and co and it just never gets boring
Same, It's just entertaining. I think we like the surprise and the gamble of whether it will be a rip off or not.
so true
As someone who speaks spanish myself Austin, I can tell you the person or the AI who is making your spanish dub does an AWFUL job. Please get a real dub studio in mexico.
Al chile si está culero el doblaje pero está decente me recuerda al doblaje de the boys XD

Sooo, at 9:54, the 'UFO Race', is a graphics hack of F-1 Race, the vehicles in there have a Low speed and a Hi speed. He stayed on Low all the time which is not enough to finish the lap. It used to be one of my favorite games when I was a kid.
I have some fake joycons. I never thought I would find a flaw on these things, until I played Wario Ware and had to use the almost forgotten little infrared camera at the bottom of the right one. The fake one just didn't have one xD So I failed all games that used it xD Worst thing is that it LOOKED like it had an infrared camera like the original, but there was just the cover and nothing underneath xD
I was going to go grocery shopping but saw Austin released a new video so now I'm in the grocery store parking lot watching this first 😁
Sounds like you have your priorities strait. Excellent 👍
@@rmcdudmk212your english should be your priority
@@zuesnastrio3062 stay triggered clown shoe. 😁
Sure buddy, go back to the kitchen.
22:52 - 23:21 - “flap flap flap, away”😂
The AR game console reminded me of EyeToy on PS2. That ninja level was so nice back then...
FYI- the altera Max ii in the Genesis cartridge is a CPLD which is almost like the little brother of an FPGA. I'm not sure about the other chips- but that alone would push up the price a lot. Also- they need to have a design for the CPLD too.
I need to petition sponsorblock to add a "Pokemon" category just for Austin's videos.
00:45 no austin, you got it wrong, you can only play it during those days
I got a pair of joycons that were supposed to look like a GameCube controller. They're actually super nice quality and extremely comfortable ergonomically. But for some reason, the L1 and L2 buttons just don't work at all, or aren't being recognized by the switch. Major bummer but I'll still hold on to them cuz they're cool lol.
sounds like the switches aren't soldered on properly. seems to be a common problem with many cheap aftermarket controllers
@@DecibelAlex oh thank you, ill check that out!
Just came across your video. Had me chuckling lol. Fun video and thanks for doing the dirty work for us lol
"Joysticks are removable, if I can get them back on" got me dead 😂
I wouldn't mind the case that Genesis cart came in. Would use it for my Everdrive.
9:54 :undeniably fun😂😂 don't deny 😂😂😂
This was weird af but as I was watching this video I got a message from a friend about "accepting them on temu to get 80% off". Obviously they've most likely been hacked or w/e but it creeped me out so much.
Bro best videos while on the toilet (in a good way)
I love how the picture of the Switch VR headset still had the joycons attached, implying that's the intended way to use it.
That is how it is intended. Even by Nintendo. The Joycons are how it tells where you're looking.
@SakuraAvalon that explains why it never took off, that's an awful design. Added weight, awful ergonomics if you have no other input method and somehow makes you look stupider than an actual vr headset
@@bellowick To be fair, it never was meant to go anywhere. Only two games support the feature. It was simply a novelty thing Nintendo did with their Labo product.
Not sure why anyone would make a more serious headset for this feature.
That ending was amazing 😂😂
I got the exact same black joy cons with the RGB on the side and they have great rumble capabilities. Only thing they don’t have is IR sensor.
Maybe the spelling is excellence 😂😂😂 14:50
Love these videos, kinda just want to order myself a load of stuff like this for Christmas and have a lucky dip on quality vs trash.
Wishful thinking for delivery before Christmas though
Temu does have quick delivery ngl
Temu has local warehouses in Europe, for example, so they can usually deliver very quickly
'JUMP ONN EEITT'@@Gamerandcoder
Temu jenga ad before this video was like an unintentional preview, like an ad before the opposite of an ad
Those mice could be from the factory during the night shift or something like how redragon does but with actual Razer software in.
Redragon is big in India and is actually a brand of the same manufacturers in China which assemble the Logitech gaming mice but now with their own branding and with some small corners cut. A very good budget company in general beyond their famous keyboards.
I wonder if the Chinese Cartridges has improved in quality after all these years I remember seeing the fake Gameboy and Gameboy Advance cartridges barely last a few months after purchase even the fake NES cartridge would often just stop working from out nowhere.
"Ecellence."

Temu, the best gaming store in the history of gaming.
Got a switch for 7 bucks in may during the event it’s literally the best thing ever

is there a link for those clear joy pads? i been looking for an hour and cant find them, thanks
Can you please post links to the stuff you buy?
that ar console reminds me of having fun with the eyetoy back on ps2 with a copy of sega superstars and eyetoy Play. so nostalgic!
thanks Austin. 14:43 that thing kinda useful for my project 👍
Now this brings up the question, which Nintendo product is worse at VR: the Switch or the Virtual Boy?
@16:20 back in ps2 days with eye toy cam 😂
I have looked all over Temu for the clear controllers and cannot find the exact ones reviewed. I know you guys dont oromote them but a link would be helpful.
Feel bad but I didnt even notice Austins Hair cut haha 😂
Y'all need to take a closer look at that SNES Mini clone's library of ROMs! There's some SERIOUSLY sus hacks on that thing like "Blackman 2." 👀
The ar system just basically makes me think of an eyetoy for the ps2 just as a all in one it's cool tho
3:14 you think that's bad? I was attempting to make a cantenna and forgot that they put bittering agents in air dusters only figured it out after I cut the can open
Well I got Zelda TOTK from Temu for $28.00 and yes it the box and cart art is in Japanese but the game talks English and is real and plays good. So sometimes Temu sells good things but I was worried but now I would buy another game if it good.
nowadays anyone can get a custom pcb board and components and make anything cartridge wise
I find it so ironic how the sponsor is about cyber security yet this video is about temu 😂
Does anyone have the link for those clear joy cons? I have been unable to find them on Temu.
Hand held legends sells full shell and joycon swaps
I am kind of surprised they did not have a sponsor for Pokemon Sleep with that Pokemon bit.
The lights with the cheap ps5 plates actually looked good though. I'd clip
I laughed out loud with Zalda , that's gonna stick.
Wow. That Ditto plush cost exactly as much as a discount retailer in Japan (in my case Donki) that is legit.
why is the first search suggestion when Austin types "n" noodz?? (0:17) do they even sell those on temu?
Love how he hates on the shade of orange.... yet the couch in the back ground is the same colour.
What was Austin smoking at the end? 🤣🤣🤣
I rocked the cardboard phone vr for a while, no good lol what a surprise
I must say that AR thing was epic
Good Luck with the mini transaction 😂
word of advice i'd get the adapter from amazon and not temu to avoid the item being cancelled/refunded.. i got one for my wii so yea!
I remember a boy and his blob review in nintendo power when I was a kid. I really wanted to play it
Thank you for trying some temu stuff I was always wondering if their products were legit
they steal and sell your info its not a good place to shop at tbh
Temu is a mixed bag like any other site. you gotta be careful of what you order
A kid asking for a PS5. The next day on Christmas you hear a kid saying what is a game station
Man, no way I just found a game from my childhood on a unboxing video. im also talking about the game a boy and his blob.
Overclock Media only hires people with a couple heaping helpings of that TISM BOIII
In the Chinese Version of Super Mario Odyssey the Pirate Outfit has no skull on it and there's no Skeleton outfit too
Fun fact: Temy leaks your data online and installs spyware on your phone!
At some point you'd think nintendo would get off their high horse long enough to see that they could make bank re-releasing old consoles with hard drives full of roms built into them. I mean there's a whole ass market revolving around making pirated copies. They could stop 90% of the pirating they claim to despise in one move. 😂
Yeah, look how quickly the NES Classic and SNES Classic sold. Nintendo couldn't keep up with demand.
😂😂😂 that subscribe reminder at the end of this video 😂😂😂
where did u find the switch on there?
14:50 austin throwing shade at kwebbelkop lol
What are the odds that we are just waiting for Austin to get his order from wish
I got a Temu ad at the start of the video💀
I wonder if there is a PS5 "shell" that is just a fan filter with magnets.
The cheapest new, sealed Nintendo switch game is $12 brand new..... and its aweful! xD
You could fit the entire master system and mega drive library on something like 100MB
Why does everyone keep ignoring the MOTION sensor on the friggin switch????.
It's so annoying that too many games underutilized the motion plus features of the Joy-cons. Here he doesn't even mention that feature when reviewing the the knock offs.
These might be indian versions of these mice
Deathadder essential costs like 10-12$ in India
The fact that i called that red ball a games Sphere makes me feel old
Austin getting scammed by Temu when the Nintendo Wii hdmi adapter has been $1 on eBay for the last 10 years. I bought 4 and they all still work
I wonder if temu saw your computer files and searched your do not open file!
Not gonna lie, thought the sponsor would be none other than Temu themselves 😂
The snorlax edit tho :D thumbs up
I want to see you buy camera accessories from Temu
The games are probably region locked LOL. So a US switch might not be able to read the Chinese super Mario odyssey. The mice are stealing all his passwords haha
Austin: those are games? Where is the games? How can you have a system without game. They're all fake.
can we have the link for these products
that orange shell needs to have LTT painted on it
No ones going to talk about what pops up for 1 microsecond when he types Nintendo at the start?
